Anyway, this is a dark and dusty store but decently organized. The workers were nice and I'd guess they are all volunteers. The day I went it was a bag sale, everything you could fit into a plastic bag for a buck (with a few exceptions like books). As a result, the store was quite busy and a bit empty but I still found plenty of very decent items to stuff into a bag and upon getting everything home I liked almost all of it. So I'd definitely be back. This store seemed to have the best selection of men's shirts, women's shirts and pants, and jackets/coats on my visit and it seemed that the merchandise tends to be outdated but fairly priced.

I hate giving it a low star rating because I've found great items here at affordable prices and the staff is always friendly. But the hours and frequent closed days make it difficult to visit for out of towners or those who work Monday through Friday. My husband recently came in and found a half dozen pairs of pants that he would like to have purchased, but he needed to try them on and this store's signs state no dressing rooms (on the actual dressing room doors, no less). So I cannot go higher than 3 stars. Also, if you visit during their open hours and it looks closed, it's probably because they're using only the back door for entry now (as of July 2019).

There's at least one accident a day at that and right in that area. There's a center islands right there on 14th St. there is an exit and an entryway right there to the highway in whack travel which is the community college Sam's Club travel right there. Lots of huge trucks for some reason that are driving from the east to the west are in that intersection all the time, but the store is very new and improved high-quality items. They never had anything that high-quality in the other store for some reason much better selection of items and they really try to keep the store really clean. I see at least one person cleaning all the time when I'm in there it's very well organized. Some of the shirts even are organized into color coding. I think the blankets are also blankets and comforters are also color-coded last time I was in there and they have all the dishware in one area then they have all the furniture and home items kind of on the back wall like pictures and and frames and that kind of thing electronics are also on the back wall. I think there's certain electronics that cannot take. For example, I tried to donate my printer the other day they did not take that. All in all this new location of Goodwill is well worth your time! I will admit and all my thrift team of all over the area. Goodwill has the highest prices, but even even so, it is worth the effort since the amount of high value items in the store well out way the slightly higher prices than for example, helping hands. Goodwill may have to follow their corporate's pricing, which may definitely not be from this area, noting that the standard of living in this area is much lower than many other areas of the country helping hands is much a much better reasonably priced thrift store, but for the amount of high-quality items that they have at Goodwill now it's worth my time to go in and at least browse to see what they have at the moment. I've seen they have a really good selection of designer brands of clothing. Browsing the kitchenware area I found a KitchenAid brand blender bowl to go with my blender at home. I priced it at like $65 so and I got it for around five dollars, so that's a pretty we're gonna get the steamer good deal!!

But that's totally forgiven as they seem to be staffed by volunteers. If this was more of a corporate thrift store I'd dock the stars for that. Anyway, it looks like as of my August 2017 visit the thrift store is open 9 am to 1 pm on Saturdays and have daytime hours Tuesday through Friday. I would check with them for hours if you're driving to Seneca. The food pantry is by appointment for those in need. As for the thrift store...it's not huge, but it's pretty well stocked and they have low prices. There's quite a lot for babies, kids, and expectant mothers, including linens, pregnancy and childcare books, children's and maternity clothing, etc. I was seeking adult clothing, magazines, books, and decor, and found a few items that made it well worth the drive from Joplin to Seneca on a Saturday morning. Most clothing is neatly hung and reasonably well organized. My favorite find was a vintage style top that seems to be homemade but is fantastic! They were having a special summer sale making it dirt cheap. They also accept donations of merchandise or spare change for their mission of providing hunger relief for the community, so I have to give five stars. I went to potter house in siloma springs for the .50 cent's green tags and I got all the green tags…read morein the prom dresses and little girls dresses and I went to check out and the girl rang all the dresses up and another lady behind the register said they don't do prom dresses in the green tags sale but they had green tags on them. So I called Fayetteville potter house which is the main store and Cindy the manger told me they stopped doing them but they didn't have any signs or nothing saying that and I was there last week buying prom dresses and they never said anything like that, I got them for .50 cent's a piece last week. They don't have bathroom anymore. They are also selling mattresses with pee stains on them and that's very nasty and unprofessional.

We were standing there staring directly into her lower side. Not only was the experience incredibly unprofessional, it made me wonder what manners we're teaching teenagers today! So sad. They have a lot of women's business clothing in good condition from the 70s-90s which makes excellent "raw material" for those who may like to put their own twist on things. Lots of blouses, dresses, skirts and jackets that can be updated and made to fit into present day fashions. Also a LOT of men's nice shirts especially in sizes L/XL and XXL. Think "dad" shirts like denim and corduroy and flannel, but all clean and in good condition. Low prices. The guy running this place is very friendly and personable, and seems open to haggling and making special deals. We bought some clothing and he gave us several old magazines for free (we were gonna buy them anyway). He said that due to the Route 66 location they have shoppers come in from all over the world. Their shoes and bags were not in the best shape, but again this place is cheap! There is not really room for a lot of housewares or furniture due to the shop's size but it's charming and fully stocked. I would absolutely return.
