As a result, the store was quite busy and a bit empty but I still found plenty of very decent items to stuff into a bag and upon getting everything home I liked almost all of it. So I'd definitely be back. This store seemed to have the best selection of men's shirts, women's shirts and pants, and jackets/coats on my visit and it seemed that the merchandise tends to be outdated but fairly priced.

It's a bit chaotic and perhaps a little disorganized but they have a constantly updated inventory of tshirts, tops, bottoms, outerwear, dresses and home goods. These are items that are generally not available in the Samaritan Shop. It was a pleasant experience. The staff we encountered were especially helpful and unlike the regular thrift store, some of their merchandise is available online and can be set aside. Warehouse 479 is definitely worth a visit. While I don't have the details of the employment service associated with this store, it is clear that they embrace individuals with all types of disabilities and provide services in that vein. The staff here was extremely helpful and patient, which impressed me greatly. But with all of that aside, I liked the large and bright space of this store and well organized shelves and racks of merchandise. I took advantage of their sale and scored some great sweaters and a dress for excellent prices in addition to a used curling iron that works very well and some fun magazines. If I lived closer to Bartlesville, I'm sure this would be one of my favorite stops. Another customer in the store said "Girl you have come to the right place! Best store in town" and I'm inclined to agree, if you like secondhand shopping don't miss this place.

It's that good. Seriously. VERY clean and well organized thrift store and what they sometimes lack in selection is more than made up for by the friendly service and low prices. I have never walked out of here empty handed and have shopped here on and off since I was a teenager (20 years ago). It is a well run store and the larger stores and secondhand chains could take a lot of tips from them, to be honest! When you walk in there's a dry erase board posted straight ahead with the day's sales on it and they are always a very good variety and offer extra value. I highly recommend this place. It is not hard to find, either. Just a block east of Broadway and a block west of St. Mary's Colgan school in downtown Pittsburg.
