It has been a process, but I've learned how to handle healing the best way for me, and we are almost done with it now. He offered me a flat rate, so I don't have to pay for each visit I go to. The flat rate was the best option as I know I would have paid more by paying for each and every session. His staff is reasonable and professional, and Dr. Rhee himself does his best to remember his patients and help in the process of it all. I want my reviews to be seen because of the misconception that tattoo removal is a quick process. It does take dedication to the clinic and yourself to get the full process completed. I have now completed 11 sessions over 2 years, and hopefully I can be finished with just a few more sessions. Each session has a different outcome based off what setting he does. So sometimes I've had the next day with lots of large and ugly blisters, but having some aquafoar, gauze pads, and an ace bandage did wonders for healing. I've also had several sessions in which I had hardly any blisters and was a breeze for healing until the next appointment. His clinic is 100% worth the 45 minute drive. I'm happy with my results so far and plan to finish the removal with him.

We are very happy and comfortable visiting Dr. Rhee, he is super friendly and always puts a smile on our faces. The pain is not bad, a large tattoo session can wrap up in 30 seconds or less with the laser. Easily manageable in that time frame compared to getting a tattoo. Visually I'm very happy with the results, but more importantly mentally I don't have a large tattoo on my chest I have to explain or talk about it anymore. No one can notice I ever had the removed tattoos. We added hair removal since we were visiting the dr every six weeks, and made it an easy visit just adding an extra 1-2 minutes to the visit.

They did NOT confirm dates, they used My Chart. On paperwork it had the last date for Botox at LlU, but another Dr not on my chart put additional for migraine when I couldn't get in. Fellow, said Oh Irlen Syndrome, you need to get these and shows me pink brown lenses. I'm a retired Irlen screener with custom lenses. I can wear nothing with brown. She had no idea what she was talking about at all! Dr Van Putten then declared I had Thyroid Eye Disease, but ordered no thyroid tests. Since thyroid surgery years ago, I'm in remission and checked often. He tells me, that you can have it, in remission. I called my UCI endocrinologist to get blood tests, they were fine, and they said almost zero chance of TED, if in remission this long from thyroid removal surgery, all thyroid levels are fine. Another eye Dr confirmed that info and examined. No T.E.D. I had a neuro appt. for headache a few days later and he said the Botox other Dr had put in, didn't stay where it was put. He used Botox strategically and levelled my brows relieving the pain and pressure. He was spot on. It didn't come back. Dr Van Putten was wrong, I did not have TED. They spotted an infection, but refused to treat it, told me to get lid cleanser and go to an eye Dr. Neither Dr or fellow was right about anything!!! He's training students to be uninformed poor Drs. Get a second opinion before surgery, Dr Van Putten or Fellows can't be trusted to diagnose and treat correctly.

When I arrived I was greeted by wonderful staff and had virtually no wait time. I met with Trish for my first ever round of Botox. (She is AMAZING!!). Before the procedure Trish explained the possible discomfort, the procedure itself, and any possible side effects. She did the injections at my pace, and the whole time she was asking if I was ok. I took comfort in this since it was my first time. She didn't inject all the sites I was asking for, explaining that it might produce an unwanted look. This is my face an I am happy that she told me the truth rather than just inject wherever I ask to make more money. It has been a little over 2 weeks since the procedure and I couldn't be happier.
