I previously requested cancellation of my pest control service by phone, but later was told that because I did not have written documentation of that cancellation, they would not recognize it. I was then presented with a $144 balance. Even though I disagreed with the charge, I eventually offered to pay the $144 simply to resolve the matter. I asked for one very reasonable thing before making the payment: written confirmation that the payment would settle the account in full, that my service would be permanently cancelled, and that I would receive no additional charges. Instead of promptly providing that confirmation, the matter continued, and another $5 fee was added, bringing the balance to $149. This is exactly why consumers need to be extremely careful when entering into service agreements. Make sure you understand the cancellation requirements, put every cancellation request in writing, keep copies of everything, and obtain written confirmation that your account has actually been closed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Prodigy Pest Solutions. A customer who is actively trying to resolve and close an account should not have to worry about additional fees accumulating while waiting for the company to provide written confirmation.

I informed him of the steps I had undertaken on my own prior to making contact with him and he confirmed I was on the right track and that we should give things a couple weeks to see if what I had already done would prove effective. If I still needed some help after then, he'd be happy to come by for a first-hand look and to give me his input, thoughts and an estimate. After a few weeks, I had cleared the mole activity about 90%, but was still seeing some tunneling so I thought it was time to give Leo a call. We set a time and date and he arrived promptly at our appointment time. Based on our lengthy conversation, he is quite knowledgeable about all things pest control. He gave me his thoughts and recommendation on how best to attack what remained of my mole issue and presented me with a most fair estimate for work which he was ready and able to perform right then and there. I agreed and he pretty quickly laid another treatment for me. I appreciate that he went above and beyond by treating a bit beyond the main coverage area to ensure the treatment would be maximally effective. I am confident it's going to do the trick.
