I absolutely love the custom dog bowl we bought for our dog. The owner wasn't sure she could mix the colors for me like I asked but it turned out awesome! I may have to order a matching one soon. I really love how it turned out! And it got to me quicker then expected-bonus! Thank you!

I like to smell my candles before I buy them (and then buy them online when there are wicked good…read moredeals [or coupon codes available], which often there are), and came to Yankee Candle to do some "research". There is SO MUCH PRODUCT here. Candles, wax melts, sprays - every single size and smell imaginable. You forget what all of that looks like in real life when you do your retail therapy digitally! I like Yankee Candle, their product is usually five stars (shout-out to their scent plug-ins; they make my super old bathroom smell not funky). But I wanted to write a quick thank you note to one of their employees. I actually bought a candle in person and thought I liked it so much, I bought it again online. When I opened the jar to light it, my pet immediately started sneezing (this isn't the first time this has happened with their product). The candle I bought in person, I stupidly threw away the receipt for. The candle I bought online I was able to start the return process; I was told I would get a QR code via email and all I had to do was show it in person. Only, no QR code/return email ever came (despite MANY attempts at getting one). I decided to just go in person to the mall and explain all of this to them (I've never returned candles before, so I knew there was a good chance I would just have to take the "L"). Luckily for me, my email is registered so all of my (many) purchases are documented. No receipt? No problem. Not burned or used? No problem. The patient employee was able to look up my orders; and, I was able to swap out the candles out for ones that I wanted. It was a lot more seamless than I was expecting (also, despite buying the original large candles at a deep discount, somehow my return yielded more money back than I had spent, so I was also able to snag some wax melts and still have $7 leftover. Not sure how any of that worked, but I'm not complaining). So, thanks Nice Yankee Candle Person At The Mall! My flat smells good and my pet isn't sneezing!

Been burning YC my whole life, and long before internet shopping was a thing (side note: this is…read moreone of those companies that spoil frequent online buyers, so get to it for some seriously deep discounts!) I would come here to load up. It's always kind of looked the same (clean, colorful, welcoming with seasonal decor), and the staff has always kind of been the same (friendly but distrusting? I wonder how many candles they've watched slip through fingers and shatter on their floors). Here's what I don't like: 1. The price. Why are these candles so expensive? Their scent isn't long lasting enough, or have enough of a reach, to warrant these prices. 2. All the new smells based off weirdly specific experiences. I don't want Baby's First Steps In Spring Rain, or Wedding Cake Topper Defrosted And Enjoyed On Our First Anniversary, or Stardust Sprinkled Gently On The Sweet Flesh Of Gourds. I want Whoopie Pie. I want Plumeria. And, damn it, I want Rainbow's End. Admittedly there have been times when this particular YC store has pulled out a discount bin of former scents, and those rare moments are the best! Listen, if you're a candle fiend, then of course you're gonna love it here. Even if you don't believe in smells like Friend's Forgotten Scarf or Bronzed And Brined, it's still a whole lotta fun to sniff 'em all!

And the job was finished in a timely fashion, just as promised. We had considered replacing the chairs, but for less than half that expense we were able to keep the chairs we've enjoyed for almost fifty years. We highly recommend doing business with The Craft Shop in Windham, ME.

Well, stop I did, to see if they had a gift for a friend's birthday. First, I love any store that smells like balsam as you walk through the door. The scent makes me feel like a kid again. I'm not from Maine (have been here long enough to feel at home), but as a kid we used to drive here from Ohio and spend a few weeks going up and down the coast. The smell of balsam reminds me of these trips. Second, I was shocked by the variety they had. Maple syrup, Maine souvenirs, crafting supplies, wooden figurines, and antiques. The have a sign stating that they "glue chairs". I didn't know that was a thing, but apparently, it is... They also sell wreaths and Christmas trees during the appropriate season. And finally, the owners were as nice as could be. They had out hot chocolate for the kids, and they wrapped my little gift up neatly. This little shop is well worth the drive into town because of how darn cute it is!

Cute place! I stopped in only because I happen to see it when I was stopping at a bakery nearby…read more I walked in and was met with two options, left or right. I went to the right and found honey for your health, honey from around the area, and different products that either had bees on it or had honey in it. I found this super neat and I spent some time looking at the different items before settling on some honey from the area. Someone did come and say hello to me while I was shopping around. But then promptly went to help someone else that had walked in. Once I made my selections I went to wait to check out, lots to look at. It seems they have some bee keeping items and also have beekeeping classes. So, all around they support bees and I love that. There was a comment made in the shop by one of the workers that made another customer feel less included, but I don't think it was meant to be offensive. But I did happen to notice it and felt well, there's some validity to what was said. Nonetheless, great place to get honey and very lovely staff.

Honey is sold in small and large quantities but nothing gigantic. Honey is from all over the country and many local hive producers sell their products here. What better way to support small business in your area! My favorite is the "rubie red" honey, you hold it up to the light and it's a deep red and has a fantastic flavor..yum! The store sells everything honey and bee: honey, wax, propolis, mead, candies, gift sets, honey decantors, aprons and linens, and jewlery. This store also has classes for those interested in learning this art form. In the store they have a live hive you can look at from behind glass, facsinating! People may not like the high prices ($15-30 depending on the quantity and location honey is from) but it's to support our local artisans and the product is MUCH BETTER then any honey you will find in the grocery store. It's raw and unfiltered so all the healing properties are intact. I am a regular there, going weekly during the winter months to help keep my immune system strong.
