I see one review that says excellent service and I'm glad for them. Such is not the case for me…read more I went for a consultation and first off her attire was interesting. I would not describe a big white hat as professional. That was nothing compared to the next 30 minutes. At first I felt this may be a good fit. I already had my Trust, Will, Living Will, Power of Attorney, etc documents in place. Ms. Palumbo asked me a couple questions and I was answering and suddenly she said loudly, "Let's play a game.". I replied "ok, I like games". And she loudly in my face said, "I'M THE ATTORNEY". I was stunned into silence. And twice, she pointed to a file drawer and asked me, "Do you know what's in here?". I of course said no....and she again loudly said, WELL I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS ALL THIS EITHER. I have NO idea what I did to provoke her. At that point I should have said, Give me all my documents, I am getting the hell out of here". She insulted me too many times and I admit, it threw me into a state of such shock that I was to emotionally paralyzed to speak. I proceeded to consent to have her do a Health Surrogate form for me and a new appointment was made for the end of June. I went home, recovered and realized I could never face that woman again so I terminated the relationship which had barely begun. I picked up my documents and got a refund for the form which hadn't been done yet. I am very disappointed because her location was perfect for me but none of that mattered. I worked in the school system 16 years and I had a lot of training in how to deal with students, parents, and people in general. I knew her behavior would not change and there was no way I was going to enter an office to be insulted, offended, and treated like I was stupid. The young woman Courtney in her office was so nice and she had only been there 3 weeks. When I called to schedule document pick up time I asked for her and was told she was not there. There is one other review and its a very professionally written letter from a former employee and she mentions high turnover in that office. Oh boy, now I know why. My biggest mistake, and I own it, is that I didn't check her out more before going there the first time. I will say, the man that returned my documents was so nice. If only he was an attorney in that office. I've decided to stay with the same attorney I've had for many years even tho his location isn't quite as convenient. Honestly, I'd drive 100 miles to a nice attorney than one mile to Ms. Palumbo's office. After I left there, even though I had barely spent one hour total with her, I felt like a released hostage.

I DID NOT SPEAK TO ANYONE ABOUT THE ITEMS I SENT FOR REVIEW UNTIL AFTER I WANTED A REFUND and even then just spoke to the lady who cancelled the appointment and told her my situation and if they were rescheduling me then I didn't need their services anymore as I needed to make a move that afternoon. When I sent the email in the beginning with my information and asking for advice I was emailed back with how pricing went and I immediately paid what they were asking to even get on the schedule. Most lawyers do not take a consultation fee and if they do it goes towards their consultation. Again, spoke to no one about anything I needed until a requested a refund. Then the lawyer going to call and leave a message after he had someone call to reschedule about how he reviewed everything. I needed you that afternoon. I didn't need your services anymore after you called to reschedule.
