Our tour driver, Cathy, was great! Punctual, knowledgeable, friendly and a safe driver. She was flexible and accommodating. Joe was helpful with the booking process. He helped us wineries that fit our needs. Pickup and drop off at our Airbnb. Cathy was helpful with our wine purchases. Would recommend this tour service. Worth every penny. read more

Seattle Wine Tours - Wine Tours Near Me - Seattle, Washington

If you like/love wine and you're in Seattle, you should make a reservation with Joe to do a wine tour. Joe will ask you some questions so he can plan your tour appropriately, if you have preferred wineries you want to visit just let him know and he'll work with you on the plan. We did a wine tour including a stop at Snoqualmie Falls. Joe scheduled us for four wineries but since we were a little tipsy after the third tasting room we decided to forego the last winery and our chauffeur Michael was more than gracious about granting our request. Michael was great - he was super sweet, accommodating, drove nicely, and told us about the history of places as we drove by. I also really appreciated that he always told us where he'd be and that he was just a phone call away if/when we needed him. His professionalism was comforting. I will be recommending Seattle Wine Tours to everyone I know going there (if they drink wine)! :O) read more

Whether you're a company owner/planner or a traveler looking for a great time, great pricing value, no planning required on your end, this is the company to use for a wine tour. I ended up taking out my executive management team that runs our mortgage company, and this trip was planned last minute as far as the wine portion was considered; not only were they able to get us fitted in as scheduled. They also had a perfect itinerary for the goal in mind. There were three stops, and each visit got a little bit better and better, and the finale did not disappoint. Each one treated us like VIPs, ensuring that we had the best experience and knew that we were coming ahead of us getting there. In addition, we were able to add on additional purchases that each stop if we opted to, such as a bottle to be shipped home or snacks desired for the wine. Joe was our main point of contact to get the tour scheduled, and Kal was our chauffeur. I do want to point out a few details about Kal! Chauffeurs will make or break your tour experience, and Kal absolutely knocked it out of the park! Incredibly accommodating, always paying attention, no rush, and ensured that we get the best out of the experience with the wineries and other Seattle WA trivia & history. Truly a professional! Thanks again, Seattle wine tours; I appreciate the absolute success! read more

I give Seattle Wine Tours 5 out of 5 stars mainly because of the exemplary service we received from our tour guide and driver "Big" John. He was awesome. Seattle Wine Tours offers various wine tasting and wine tour packages across the state of Washington. Our group of 10 reserved a Friday afternoon tour in August 2015 and was hooked up with Big John. Staying within city limits, we booked the Seattle tour which included stops in SoDo, the South of Downtown neighborhood in Seattle's Industrial District, plus a stop at Kerry Park at Queen Anne Hill to take in breathtaking views of the city and bay. The tour lasted roughly 4 hours. John was pretty much our personal chauffeur for the afternoon. He was professional, personable, and knowledgeable. If I recall correctly, Seattle Wine Tours is associated with a Seattle limousine service (I think they're called Bayview Limousine) which John also works for. He's driven A-list celebrities and professional athletes around the Seattle metro for decades. We arranged for John to pick us up at our lunch restaurant in Ballard. He then helped take us on a couple impromptu errands we need to get done in the neighborhood (technically not part of the tour) before we hit the interstate and headed south to our first stop. Here are the places we hit: 1. Westland Distillery (American single malt whiskey) 2. Charles Smith Wines Jet City 2a. Cowgirls Espresso (Seattle location #1) 3. Georgetown Brewing Company 4. Kerry Park Ours was not strictly a wine tour. We tried whiskey, wine, coffee, and beer, and ended the afternoon at one of Seattle's most scenic spots. Overall, I think our group had a great time except for stop #2 at Charles Smith Wines Jet City. Several guys in the group complained about the poor service at Charles Smith Wines and they also thought the tastings were a rip-off. Perhaps Seattle Wine Tours should consider finding a better stop. Westland Distillery was the longest stop on our tour because it included a tour of the distillery followed by a whiskey tasting. The smell at Westland Distillery was so strong that one of the guys in our group had to sit out of that portion of the tour. Since our group was a bachelor party, John suggested a stop at Cowgirls Espresso. It's conveniently located next door to Charles Smith Wines Jet City. Our group is from the east coast and Cowgirls Espresso was our introduction to the bikini barista concept. This concept originated in Seattle and basically consists of drive-thru coffee shacks staffed by attractive, scantily-clad, bikini-wearing ladies. Everyone seemed to like Georgetown Brewing Company. This appeared to be a popular local spot for growlers and growler refills. The free beer tasting bar was a hit. Before taking us home, John unexpectedly took us to Kerry Park. I say "unexpectedly" because none of us had an itinerary for the day's activities so we didn't know what to expect. I suspect this may be a regular stop on the tour. We were stoked when the van pulled up to the park. John helped take group photos of us in front of the downtown Seattle skyline, Elliott Bay, the West Seattle Peninsula, and Mount Rainier. We rode in a brand new, comfy and spacious, 14-passenger Ford Transit van. It was great. John allowed us to play our own music by connecting one of our phones to the van's auxiliary audio. He also had ice cold bottles of water for us in a cooler if we needed them. In the end, I was very happy with John and Seattle Wine Tours. He showed our group a good time. He was flexible and I enjoyed listening to his entertaining and enlightening stories between stops. read more

We had such a great time with Jim on our wine tour. We booked our private van tour about a month in advance for a party of 8. Our guide/driver arrived at our hotel 10 minutes early and waited patiently at each stop for us while we wine tasted and toured. They made appointments for us at Novelty Hill/Januik and at JM cellars. They also arranged for a tour at Chateau St Michele and stopped Sumerian brewing company for food/beer. Finally, we visited Snoqualmie Falls and was brought back to downtown Seattle. Everything was perfectly timed and tailored to our group's needs. Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting the Seattle area! read more

I highly recommend Seattle Wine Tours. They are exemplary at all they do, from setting up the tour to ensuring everything goes smoothly. Their prices are extremely fair. I worked with Joe to drill down logistics and it is clear that he knows the Seattle wine scene in and out - he had specific insights into which wineries matched what the group was looking for in both vintage and ambiance. Mary, our driver, was a consummate professional who is great at driving but also keeping to the itinerary (something that those who have wine tours below know is quite difficult). I cannot think of one negative about the experience. read more

I booked a birthday trip to Woodinville for 14 of us. Two of us were celebrating birthdays. It was a wonderful day and everyone in our group had an amazing time!! Kathryn was absolutely wonderful! She arrived a little early (which was appreciated) and we set off on our day. We visited three wineries that were totally ready and prepared for our party. She did an excellent job with not rushing us but still keeping us on schedule. It was easy moving from one place to the next and the day flew by! Some of the wineries are more spread out, so transportation was nice to have. I would absolutely do this again and several people in my group said the same. Booking was easy and every part of the process was seamless. I highly recommend this tour guide service!! My only complaint, which is more on the winery than the tour, is the tasting fee was higher since we were in a group at one of the wineries. We would have been fine not having the private area with a higher cost--if that was the reason. read more

What an amazing experience! We rented a 10 person limo for my Bachelorette wine tasting the weekend before my wedding. Joe the owner was so responsive and such a pleasure to work with. He answered all of my questions and helped me coordinate a day of fun. Michael our chauffeur was wonderful! Very helpful. Limo was new and clean. Cups were provided for us. We brought our own champagne and flutes to sip in between rides. I suggest you have them pick you up in the Woodinville area so you spend more time going to the winery's vs driving in the car. 11/10 experience and will book again! read more

Traveled to Seattle 10/3-10/6 and my husband hired this service to take us to some wineries on 10/4. Had a great time, Kathy was our driver and she was super knowledgeable about Seattle and the wine region around there. Had a great experience. Didn't get to all the wineries that we planned but we were enjoying one longer than expected, but that was ok. Never felt rushed. Joe the owner of Seattle Wine Tours seems like a great person and enjoys what he does. Would recommend their service read more

We booked Seattle Wine Tours for our girlfriends Bachelorette. Coming up from Canada, we did not know what to expect in the realm of wine tours within the city of Seattle. It was honestly our favourite day and we couldn't have had the experience that we did without our exceptional driver, BOB!! He was beyond professional, ensured we stayed on schedule, snapped all the necessary photos and was truly one of the best drivers and tour guides I have ever experienced. We may be hiring him again internationally for the next event! Thank you Bob! And thank you Seattle Wine Tours for giving your Canadian neighbours an experience to never forget! read more

We celebrated my husbands birthday with a wonderful day with Katheryn touring wineries in Woodinville. Katheryn knew the area and the wines so she chatted with us the entire day sharing tons of knowledge of the wines we were tasting. She was able to add a stop along the way which was unexpected, she was a joy. Joe set up a great day for us with our family and friends, it was the highlight of our trip to Seattle. read more

From booking to finish, these guys were great! Joe was very responsive and helpful in helping me book a tour. I didn't want to have to think... just be driven around and enjoy good wines! And, that we did! Mary, our driver, was AMAZING. We had the BEST time with her and she was just so great at letting us enjoy our time at the wineries. She was perfect. I spilt wine, she had a tide to go pen, she picked GREAT wineries and even packed a snack bag for us. She must have known we would be hungry! I had finished my little bottle of water and somehow, she was super stealth and replaced it without me knowing. She was friendly, knowledgable and just great. If/when we return to Seattle, we will definitely hire you guys and hopefully Mary again. I will make sure to write a review on yelp! Being in the service industry, I really appreciate the timeliness, courteousness and the "little" things that they did to make our afternoon really enjoyable. We WILL be back! :) read more

Wow! What a fantastic event! I hired Seattle Wine Tours for a company outing this past Saturday and let me tell you, it couldn't have gone better! Our guide and contact, Joe, knew his stuff. He was entertaining and informative and kept us all comfortable and happy along the trip. The coach was nice, leather seating, clean and comfortable. The tour Joe took us on was tons of fun. My clients were so impressed they couldn't have been more impressed. I absolutely recommend Seattle Wine Tours for any tour or company outing! read more

I hired Seattle Wine Tour for a group of 10 ladies for my 40th birthday for a Woodinville wine tour and have nothing but good things to say! I must have emailed Joe 2 dozen times with thoughts on the trip. He was very patient and responsive with every email. He helped tailor the perfect trip for us and made reservations so that two of the wineries had dedicated tasting table for us. The vehicle was super clean, came equipped with water at each seat. Tons of room in the back for a cooler/blankets. Jim, the driver, showed up at my house early, totally professional and ready to go. He was super flexible with us for pickup times from each winery which allowed us to not feel rushed and really enjoy the day. I'll hire them for the next time I turn 40! read more

When I recently went up to Seattle with my family, we decided to check out some of the local wineries and found Seattle Wine Tours via TripAdvisor. This tour exceeded my expectations, as the level of customer service we got was truly amazing. We were picked up at our hotel in a clean, comfortable SUV by our guide and driver, who was very personable and gave us plenty of insight on the area's attractions and scenery as we went to Woodinville. From there, we visited Chateau Ste. Michelle, JM Cellars and Airfield Estates, all of which gave us excellent tours and tastings. And as I'm really into craft beer, she let us make a stop at Redhook Brewing for a tour, which was so much fun (you have to put this in your tour itinerary if you go!). Our tour guide was always available, but not intrusive. She made sure we stayed on the plan without wasting too much time in one spot, while helping us to choose wines that she knew we'd enjoy. Highly...HIGHLY recommend this tour. Definitely a good pick for anybody vacationing in or around Seattle. read more

This company is fantastic to work with! They are professional, organized, and make the process seamless. I received a confirm email within minutes of booking my tour, the guide showed up 10 minutes prior to our tour and was so understanding when we were running a bit behind. They set up all the tastings and when we decided to switch our last tasting with another winery they simply did it!! Did not get upset or annoyed about the last minute switch! I would highly recommend this company to anyone! One of the best......and I've been doing events like this for a while. read more

This review is based on a reservation but a tour that never occurred. I feel compelled to write a review for Joe because he was attentive, detailed and nearly perfect from a customer service perspective. My group of gals for a bachelorette party wine tasting day decided against the tour route but I am confident that everything would have gone perfectly if we weren't able to find a DD for the day (me). Joe was helpful and available- prices were competitive and I would be happy to refer a friend to Joe or seek out their services again. read more

From start to finish, our experience with Seattle Wine Tours was first class. I spoke with Joe a mere two days before we were supposed to be in Seattle and he was completely accommodating and made fantastic recommendations of wineries for our group of 9. He even let us in a secret - if you do a wine tour at the winery, the tasting is free! You can't beat insider information like that! Our driver the day of was Alan and boy was he fantastic. He was on-time, prompt, and always had a smile on his face. He rolled with the punches and when we had time to hit up another winery, he was completely on board and worked it into the schedule. At the very end, he took us to a whiskey distillery (the girl's sat that one out!) but the boys absolutely loved it and it was a great ending to the tour. Other than the wedding we were all in town for, this was the highlight of our trip. We got to have someone drive us around while we sampled Seattle's finest wines and tour the beautiful Pacific Northwest - it doesn't get much better than that! Definitely make Seattle Wine Tours a part of your trip to Seattle. read more

How do you describe the perfect day; Seattle Wine Tours! I had researched my options for spending the day relaxing with my husband, be driven around, tasting wines and having a fabulous lunch. I just was not sure how and where to go. I did a lot of reading and through reading reviews and asking my hotel in advance for a recommendation; I decided to call Seattle Wine Tours. Joe, the owner was very knowledge and after I described what type of day I was looking for, he told me he could arrange my entire day. He recommended a fabulous restaurant and made our reservations. I told him one of the wineries I wanted to go to and he state of our reserve tasting. I was e-mailed back the confirmation in advance for my tour. On the day of our tour, a beautiful well maintained town car was there to pick us up right on time. In the car was a wine magazine and 2 bottles of Fiji water. Our driver Alan was courteous, knowledgeable and personable. He knew all the right things to say and do. Throughout the day he would bring us into the wineries and introduce us to the winery person and then leave my husband and I for our tour. We never felt rushed or uncomfortable. Alan also would give us history about where we were driving to and also about the area. He knew when to talk with us and when to give us our alone time. He was amazing! The restaurant recommendation from Joe was AMAZING! The best Scallops my husband had ever had. My food was fabulous and the dessert...out of this world! For those of you who are looking for an experience like you would see on that show" Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" or live a movie star, rock star just for one day...Call Joe at Seattle Wine Tours! read more

An A+ to SeattleWineTours.com. After a long week of business, my wife joined me on a Saturday for some wine tasting. Not knowing the area well, I called Joe at Seattle Wine Tours. He asked for some general parameters, preferences, timelines and cost restrictions. Was extremely conscious of our needs and matched us with the perfect driver. The driver, Mary, arrived on time, was extremely personable but more importantly, had the highest level of knowledge about the wine region, its wines - probably as much, if not more knowledge than the wineries themselves. Before we embarked, she further drilled down to what types of wines and wineries we should visit. We agreed that the Woodinville region best suited our needs. Throughout the 4 hours, Mary provided insight on the region and its wines. She gave background on the individual wineries - and the wines themselves. The wineries knew her personally. She was flexible for any last minute changes, including a quick ride around Seattle for some photo ops. A wonderful experience. Would definitely consider again our next trip to the Northwest. read more

Seattle Wine Tours hosted a special family celebration for us recently and it could not have gone better. Our host, Joe, took us to three wineries for tastings. We were able to meet the winemakers and taste wines straight out of the barrel as they were in different stages of aging. Our limo was top notch and the driver was very courteous. I have gone to wineries in Australia, California, and Europe and I can honestly say that our night with Seattle Wine Tours ranked amongst the best! This is NOT your grandparents' mega-bus tourist trap. This IS intimate, best of the best, luxury. I recommend this company to anyone interested in a real Seattle treat. read more

I came to town to visit some friends and happened across Seattle Wine Tours on another social media site. After contacting Joe I realized that we were going to have a great time. Joe was very accommodating, prompt in returning messages and provided us with a suggested agenda. Prior to the wine tour, through several conversations, hooked us up with his partner at Rain City Vodka where we got a tour of their burgeoning distillery. Cory was knowledgeable and it was a truly fantasitc start to the weekend. On Saturday we were greated by Todd, our driver, who called us to let us know where he was. Joe had put in a bottle of champagne for us as well as some chocolates which was a great touch. Todd couldn't have been more accommodating as we extended our day to tour a few more wineries. All in all this was a great day and have Joe + team to thank. You cannot go wrong. read more

I used Seattle Wine Tours for a bachelorette party wine day. We had exactly 6 girls so we got the 6 person limo. They came up with a winery plan based on the bride to be's preferences. They arrived at the pick up stop right as scheduled. Jim was our driver and he was super nice. Took us to the wineries and made sure to walk us in and let the tasting room we were there. When it was time to go he would show up and let us know we had a few minutes before we needed to head to the next location. He even went ahead and got us places in the Chateau Ste Michelle facility tour which was awesome. The whole process was super easy from booking to day of events. This tour was absolutely fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about the service we received leading up to the tour as well. I would say it was the best activity of our trip. The communication with them via email was fast and attentive. The whole day of the tour was awesome. Specifically: Todd was really great and we thought he made fun suggestions just by picking up on our groups tastes. He is also very funny. You get to see a different view of Seattle on your way to Woodinville, too. The tastings he chose for us were all wonderful. If we return to Seattle, we will definitely be touring with them again and we will absolutely recommend them to our friends read more

Our driver Dale was accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. We had a great time, enjoyed delicious food and tasty wine!

Great Tour and experience. Called Joe the day before and at first he was booked but he called me back and made arrangements so my sister and I could still take the tour. Our driver Spencer was just fantastic. He picked us up at our hotel and took us on the tour. He customized the trip once we went to our first two wineries based on what we liked. He also made dinner recommendations for us when we were driving back because he was telling us about the local town we were staying. This is a must do tour if you have the time, but try to book at least one week out because I see why they fill up. Awesome experience from booking, the drive, and the whole experience. read more

Although there are other limo services who may be able to take you to the wine country near Seattle, I guarantee none of them provide service anywhere near this company. From the time of my first email to scheduling our itinerary to being dropped off at our hotel, the service was absolutely top notch and worth every penny. Joe (Director of Business Development) is incredibly professional, has great relationships with the winery and takes care of everything for you before your trip. Our limo chaffeur-guide, Alan, even had cardinal and gold napkins as we were in Seattle for the USC game! Alan also did a phenomenal job catering our every desire and lined us up with the head people at each winery. If you want to experience the wine country in a first class manor this is your company. read more

I'll pile on the (well-earned) wonderful reviews that Joe and team have already received. Joe did a fantastic job setting up a specific tour for my wife's birthday including customized winery suggestions that include 2 private tours and barrel tastings to make the day even more special. The driver, Jeff, was perfect as well; super helpful, friendly, etc. The car was great and well stocked. Everything worked flawlessly. And, just a little secret for you, they're just as cheap or cheaper than any other wine tour company you can find. Call these guys first, feel free to call others to compare but you'll end up booking with Joe either way. read more

We went for lunch at the Barking Frog restaurant which was very good...then off to more wineries for more wine-tasting.
