My visit at tropical smoothie Café was a mild experience. The service was OK. It could have been…read morebetter if there was one person working the front register for the customers who came inside to place an order. The other customer service representative could have focused on online orders that came through. It appears that both customer service representatives were focused more on the online orders versus both indoor customers and online orders. I ordered a blueberry strawberry banana smoothie, that tasted like water down. I didn't taste the effects of the fruit, though it was a fruit smoothie. I went back inside the store to inform the staff. The representative asked if I had the smoothie before and she asked the staff member who made the smoothie how did she made. Finally, they remade my smoothie, and the smoothie tasted a little bit better, but you can tell that they put a lot of ice and water into their smoothies. I witnessed the customer service representative make the smoothie and they definitely use very little amounts of fruit inside their smoothies and a whole lot of ice and water to prepare their smoothies. The facility was clean. The ambience was very nice and calm. The staff were pleasant. Tropical smoothie Café does not offer a variety of sizes to choose from for the smoothies. I noticed on the menu there's one flavor that's offer for a kid size smoothie.

Great grocery store! Just became my favorite place to shop!…read more It's never crowded, insanely clean and organized. The staff is super friendly and professional. They also have a lot of great items you cannot find anywhere else! With Whole Foods going downhill and Trader Joe's always being slammed + limited on options, this is the best place for groceries in the area. I see the negative reviews are about the prices. It's in one of the wealthiest towns in one of the most taxed areas in the country. That should not be a surprise. Plus everything is expensive now. They say Mariano's and Jewel are better options, but those places are dirty, horrible service, moldy produce, smelly, and you don't really save that much. You get what you pay for though, so I understand why this place is on the pricier end, that's ok, and not a reason for a low review. Low reviews are for staff, cleanliness, product, perishables, meat, deli, smell, etc. I say this admitting I am very picky and OCD about grocery stores. Def give this place a try and see for yourself! I personally think it's a wonderful grocery store!

The dish that I ordered was supposed to come with fire-roasted carrots; the carrots were raw baby carrots. I ordered a 1/2 spinach, 1/2 brown rice & quinoa base for my bowl. The spinach was fresh, but the brown rice & quinoa I am 99% certain is from a box they buy from the Costco that is directly 1 minute down & across the street from here. I know because I have about 12 pouches of that Seeds of Change Quinoa & Brown Rice in my pantry back home! And the presentation was horrible. It looked like they threw the ingredients into the bowl from across the room! I also ordered a Blueberry Peach smoothie, which they were gracious enough to sub out the dairy milk for non-dairy. Unfortunately, that smoothie tasted like an icy slushy. It was mostly ice that I was crunching on. Zero smoothness involved.
