Seasons did an incredible job with our wedding day. They did an off premise event at Lakota's Farm Weddings in Cambridge, NY. We worked closely with Belinda beforehand and Jena day of as our coordinator. I can't begin to thank the entire team for their dedication to our special day. During cocktail hour, there was so much food that some of our guests thought that was the meal and didn't realize there was a plated dinner later on. They put everything into our day and Jena was a cool, calm, and collected rockstar the whole day. I cannot recommend them enough to people looking for catering. They only do a few off premise per year so get them while you can or book them at the Edison Downtown in Schenectady!!! read more

The start of our exterience with Belinda of Seasons Catering was amazing, but 20 days out from the wedding it was like we were dealing with a completely different individual. The stress she placed on my daughter was so unprofessional. The five hour open bar we agreed and paid for was not honored. Belinda said it was because the groom requested it begin 45 minutes early. That was fine until she closed the bar for an hour for the speaches (this was not pre discussed and agreed to) the bar closed early and I found out later that she approached the groom and had him pay her another 1250 for the bar!! Who does this to the wedding couple on their big day!!! I have been in the customer service industry my entire 35 + years and have I never experienced such unprofessionalism. Belinda also requested the tip for the service upfront, with the check written out in her name. I hope she paid the servers what was theirs!! read more

For the last 2 years they have catered one of my organization's, the Capital District Women's Employment & Resource Center, top fundraising event at the Pruyn House in Latham and the food and the service has been superb. I do not know who is writing these reviews, but the horrible food served at my son's wedding was disgusting. The owner took no responsibility in this, even though I sent her pictures of what was served. She insisted all plates came back empty, which is a flat out lie! Our Benedicts Ballroom Dance Club's 80th Anniversary Gala was magical. The Canfield Casino was our venue site ( 4/01/2023) and it was obvious that Seasons Hospitality was right on top of it. As soon as we had our tasting with Seasons, we knew we needed them to cater our wedding, there was no question about it! Everything with Seasons was exceptional from start to finish. Belinda and her team are top notch, and we cannot thank them enough for catering our wedding on October 1 at Windham Manor. Belinda went above and beyond for us and did anything and everything to ensure we were happy every step of the way. The customer service, the amazing food, the talented chefs (Tanner and Chuck, just amazing), the professional staff and did I mention the food, all absolutely made our wedding! When we looked for a place for our wedding , we were hesitant to book this place because of the lack of online activity and reviews. We ultimately decided to book it because their package and price best met our needs. We dealt with Jenn for our communication. She was friendly and helpful! In the end they really delivered. The food was excellent, high quality, delicious, and presented in an attractive way. Our guests are still asking us about where it was from. Their staff were pleasant, respectful, and eager to assist. It seems like this place flys under the radar for some reason. The Edison Downtown was absolutely gorgeous and our guests wouldn't stop talking about how beautiful it was. The day came together amazingly and Kia, Moe and team had everything running smoothly! To say our experience with Seasons was mixed would be an understatement. Let's start with the positives. If you are into food, you will be hard pressed to find a catering company that offers as many unique options as Seasons. We were pleasantly surprised that the quality of the food for our wedding was the same as it was for our private tasting for two. Additionally, the wait staff is wonderful and was incredibly attentive to both us and our guests. Our night turned out perfectly and the Seasons staff played a large part in that. The drawback to working with Seasons is the owner of the company. Belinda is arguably the most combative person that exists in the service industry. We are generally very easy going people and had a small, intimate gathering. All of our interactions with her were incredibly aggressive and had us so stressed out we were ready to fire her on multiple occasions and just order pizzas and call it a night. She continuously lied and/or backtracked on things she had previously said. While there were only a handful of relatively small errors the night of our wedding, we can't say that working with Belinda was worth it in the end. I am relatively confident that any review that says Belinda walks around with a smile on her face is from a family member or friend because she is the definition of a miserable human being. Our best pieces of advice are if you choose to go with Seasons, make sure you have everything in writing, carefully review every part of the contract and make sure even the smallest details are included, do not expect them to come to you to discuss menus or for them to send regular invoices. Ask and re-ask a million questions. Prepare for the worst customer service of your life. True shout out to the wait staff who are genuinely wonderful people and we can only hope Belinda treats her employees better than her customers. read more

These guys really dropped the ball at a recent wedding. Part of their package included passed hor d'oeuvres which they completely forgot. They reimbursed the base cost of the hor d'oeuvres much later, but that's it. Considering the total expense, the lack of professionalism, and the fact that as a wedding this was a one-time thing, it felt very insulting. Additionally, they just made us all feel rushed throughout the reception. The bar was severely under stocked for nonalcoholic drinks, running out of soda, juice, and ice. The entrees were fairly small, but worse was that they mixed up a vegetarian's order, she was stuck with eating chicken or not eating... I could go on... Honestly a lot of the little things I could forgive had they not forgotten the hor d'oeuvres. If you're looking for a caterer to host a memorable evening, LOOK ELSEWHERE! If I could put the service we received from Seasons Catering into one word, it would simply be: Wow. When we first met Belinda (the owner), we had a sit down meeting just to discuss what kind of service Seasons Catering could and would provide. Before ever discussing a dollar, Belinda showed us the ballroom at Colonie Country Club, had her staff set up a table where me and my now wife enjoyed a shrimp and scallop soup, prime rib, mashed potatoes, and dessert. In other words, she let her food do the talking for her. I was hooked. Not just by the generosity and the stunning site, but just how comfortable me and my wife both felt around Belinda. She seemed like an aunt we were meeting for the first time and instantly loved. For a year we planned with Belinda and her wedding coordinator/right hand Jennifer about the perfect wedding. We had everything lined up, food choices, vendors, cocktail hour location, colors, lighting... I mean Belinda and Jennifer helped with it ALL. But then Covid happened, and our original date of May 2nd 2020 had to be postponed. My wife was obviously devastated. She was terrified about now calling all her vendors and trying to find a new date that works IF one even could. Before my wife could pick up the phone, she received an email from Jennifer. In the email, Jennifer had explained that SHE herself called all the vendors and found a date that works for everyone, Aug 1st 2020. My wife was beyond thrilled. She didn't have to lift a finger as Jennifer was on top of everything! Over the next 3 months, both Belinda and Jennifer kept in constant contact with me, my wife, and my mother in law. Sometimes to discuss the wedding and sometimes just to check up on us and see how we were doing in these troubling times. THE WEDDING: The day before we got married, we had a rehearsal at the venue. Jen was there to run us through everything and discussed social distance seating, flower arranging, walkouts. Belinda explained how the servers would be masked, how food would be served, and how even through troubling times, they were going to do their best to make sure we would have the best time possible. She was NOT lying. Besides the venue being GORGEOUSLY decorated, and the ceremony being expertly orchestrated, we had the time of our lives. The food was phenomenally prepared by head chef Tanner. The passed hors d'oeuvres, the appetizers, the salads, the main course meal. Chef Tanner knocked it all out of the park. The staff was JUST as amazing. My guest were thrilled by how attentive, how polite, and honestly how fun and happy they all were . One girl Kayla, was a blast! She did her job with a smile on her face the entire time, super respectful, DANCED as she poured water... Just genuinely happy to be doing her job. Loved her. I told Jen to give her a raise. The Captain Bernie, tended to my wife and close families every need both before and AFTER the wedding. We left the venue on our wedding night without lifting a finger. Whatever they needed, Bernie was there. Long story short... My wedding was amazing and large part of that was due to SEASONS CATERING! Me and my wife would 1000% recommend them! We're already planning to use them for upcoming baby showers and people at the wedding continually asked us for their number to use them as well! My experience with Albany Seasons Catering was absolutely phenomenal in every way. And they are not just a catering service, they are food and display artists who bring a vision to life. They were hired to caterer my Mom's 80th birthday party. From my very first contact Belinda was professional, helpful, communicative, and had wonderful ideas to work within my budget. Communication was quick, with no delays. Something I found to be quite rare throughout the planning process. Belinda was exceptional to work with and understood the vibe we were going for. On the day of the party, they showed up prompt, organized, and ready to work. The Sales and Event Manager, Yvette, was our onsite party Manager and she was fantastic. We had communicated prior to the party on various details, and she executed every idea to perfection. The food was not only delicious, but it was also presented in a most stunning way. The Montage table was exquisitely picture perfect! And the dessert tables were heavenly. They went above and beyond to make sure the dessert station was fabulous and provided many extra goodies that weren't expected.
