Rode by on my bike and had to stop and explore this gorgeous little garden center. Lush flowers, fragrant herbs, dozens of varieties of coleus, even Venus fly traps and cactus. The staff is friendly and knowledgable, and it's clear that Deb has put a ton of heart into creating this place. As I was checking out, a dragonfly buzzed around the greenhouse. I'll admit, I started out planning on using Home Depot or Lowe's for my soil needs, as I was on a budget to do my backyard. However, when disappointed with big box store's selection, or lack there of, for organic soil and compost, I started looking locally. Not only did Deborah have what I needed, she was incredibly accommodating with my asks - which included a same/next day delivery request for 40 cubic feet of soil. There's no way even a large corporation that does this all the time could have come close to customer friendly service (and she is, in fact, quite friendly) AND cost. She delivered to my door (despite getting a flat) within promised time frame and to boot, gave me a discount for my large order and for paying cash without me even asking. Five stars all around - so happy to have been disappointed by Lowe's and HD because it led me to Deborah! read more

Deborah is charming, knowledgeable, and just all around awesome. I don't know anything about gardening and decided to buy a bunch of herbs for my new patio. She helped me pick out full-sun ones for my west-facing patio, and taught me how to re-pot them. She also let me know that my pots needed more drainage and recommended that I use a nail and a hammer to make wider holes. As a homeowner always looking for ways to beautify my block and yard space, I decided to take the advise of Debora the owner of SEASONS. After explaining that I was looking for good ground cover she immediately suggested her Creeping Jenny. Although the small pot was $5, it was the the best $5 I've ever spent on plants. After 3 years of growing that $5 pot is now growing in 3 tree pits and 2 planters in my yard. They're a great cover for hard to grow soil and cascade beautifully from planters. I went to Seasons a few weeks ago to buy a mint plant and they had exactly what I was looking for. Seasons is probably the best plant/gardening store I've ever been to. Neighborhood garden center with all kinds of plants - flowers, shrubs, herbs, veggies - your basic needs like potting soil, pots & mulch, and super friendly service. On multiple trips the staff wheeled my heavier items back to my apartment for me. Great small business. I have no green thumb whatsoever and Deborah, the owner, asked me all the pertinent questions to find out exactly what I needed. She was very helpful and even threw in some rocks to help with the barrel I am planting flowers in. The great customer service didn't stop there. After I made my purchase (3 40lbs bags of soil), she had one of her employees deliver the soil to my house! Seasons is one of my favorite places to visit. And its owner, Deborah, is a big reason for my love of this business. Deborah is extremely knowledgeable about plants and flowers. She has a love for them and what she does--and it shows. The environment is so green and serene that it makes you want to sit and just relax. Unfortunately, no room to really sit but the beauty of the selection that is there will keep you busy. Deborah also sells gardening supplies and you can either put the containers together yourself or she will do it for you. I go in and purchase so that I can garden myself at home but I have had Deborah put some containers together for me, too. I suggest you let her do a container or two for you. You will love what she does! I can go on and on and on. And I wish Deborah many continued years of success. It is wonderful having her in our community.
