Rode by on my bike and had to stop and explore this gorgeous little garden center. Lush flowers, fragrant herbs, dozens of varieties of coleus, even Venus fly traps and cactus. The staff is friendly and knowledgable, and it's clear that Deb has put a ton of heart into creating this place. As I was checking out, a dragonfly buzzed around the greenhouse. It's pretty special. read more

I just left Seasons, and it was a wonderful experience. As far as I know, the owner's son was manning the place, and he was nothing short of thoughtful, helpful, and knowledgeable. Also, they have a great selection. I will most certainly be returning. read more

Great place! Deborah and Arnold were very helpful, helped me find the right plant and answered all my questions (which were many coming from a plant novice like me). read more

Very nice people in a great location. It is on one of the prettiest streets in Bed Stuy. The family that owns it is very helpful and knowledgeable. The selection wasn't the greatest but it may have been because it was a week after Mother's Day. Their prices are higher than a larger store but I would rather support a local business where you get good customer service. read more

We got our Christmas tree here this year. It was a great looking tree and has not dried out after several weeks. The folks who own this place were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely come back here for my tree next year. read more

Deborah is extremely kind and funny, a great person to talk to and a delight to work with! I work for a school garen non-profit, and Deborah was more than happy to donate tomato plants for our upcoming event. Can't wait to meet her in person and check out what must be an amazing store. read more

I'll admit, I started out planning on using Home Depot or Lowe's for my soil needs, as I was on a budget to do my backyard. However, when disappointed with big box store's selection, or lack there of, for organic soil and compost, I started looking locally. Not only did Deborah have what I needed, she was incredibly accommodating with my asks - which included a same/next day delivery request for 40 cubic feet of soil. There's no way even a large corporation that does this all the time could have come close to customer friendly service (and she is, in fact, quite friendly) AND cost. She delivered to my door (despite getting a flat) within promised time frame and to boot, gave me a discount for my large order and for paying cash without me even asking. Five stars all around - so happy to have been disappointed by Lowe's and HD because it led me to Deborah! read more

It's hard to find the right words to describe how great Deborah is. I lived in the neighborhood for 4 years and she helped me learn how to care for plants. She's so knowledgeable and loves sharing that knowledge and passion with everyone that comes in. Plus, her selection is always on point and her prices are great. Definitely stop in, especially if you're new to gardening/planting. She'll get you hooked! read more

Deborah is charming, knowledgeable, and just all around awesome. I don't know anything about gardening and decided to buy a bunch of herbs for my new patio. She helped me pick out full-sun ones for my west-facing patio, and taught me how to re-pot them. She also let me know that my pots needed more drainage and recommended that I use a nail and a hammer to make wider holes. I just bought a terrarium and am going back to Seasons tomorrow to buy succulents! read more

As a homeowner always looking for ways to beautify my block and yard space, I decided to take the advise of Debora the owner of SEASONS. After explaining that I was looking for good ground cover she immediately suggested her Creeping Jenny. Although the small pot was $5, it was the the best $5 I've ever spent on plants. After 3 years of growing that $5 pot is now growing in 3 tree pits and 2 planters in my yard. They're a great cover for hard to grow soil and cascade beautifully from planters. I've even given some to neighbors for their own yards. All from a $5 dollar investment 3 years ago! read more

Deborah is amazing ! She was extremely welcoming and also gave me great tips to care for my plant ! I will be back again and again and again!! read more

Stopped by yesterday to pick up a new houseplant. Told the owner I needed something for low to medium light and she guided me around the whole store showing me the options and explaining when I asked for detail. Very helpful and friendly. I'm still learning to take care of plants so I was appreciative of all her advice and tips. Will definitely be back to visit and buy more plants. read more

Been to Seasons regularly all three summers that they've been open - a great local business. Neighborhood garden center with all kinds of plants - flowers, shrubs, herbs, veggies - your basic needs like potting soil, pots & mulch, and super friendly service. On multiple trips the staff wheeled my heavier items back to my apartment for me. Deborah is incredibly helpful in talking through your projects and helping you decide on appropriate plants. read more

I went to Seasons a few weeks ago to buy a mint plant and they had exactly what I was looking for. Seasons is probably the best plant/gardening store I've ever been to. The man who was working was very friendly and helpful. This place is partly outside and partly in a greenhouse so they aren't open during the winter. read more

Deborah is the friendliest, funniest, most knowledgeable plant dealer in the neighborhood and really cuts through the fat to make sure you're getting exactly what you want and can take care of. read more

I live just a few blocks from this amazing place. The owner has really made her corner into a community hub. Halloween and Christmas were great. But besides pumpkins and trees, she sells wonderful plants, fresh cut flowers and herbs. Definitely a little gem. read more

Great selection and very pleasant owner. They have ready venus flytrap. One of the only stores that actually have them already grown rather than in seed format. Will definitely come again. read more

I cannot recommend this place enough. I stopped in the other day and not only were they incredibly friendly, they know their stuff. Deborah was even able to tell me down to the day of the week when to water the plant. A wonderful local business to support. I've been telling all my friends to go. Can't wait to come back! read more

Great small business. I have no green thumb whatsoever and Deborah, the owner, asked me all the pertinent questions to find out exactly what I needed. She was very helpful and even threw in some rocks to help with the barrel I am planting flowers in. The great customer service didn't stop there. After I made my purchase (3 40lbs bags of soil), she had one of her employees deliver the soil to my house! This is a great neighborhood business that I will be shopping at whenever I'm in need of plants or plant supplies. read more

Could not say enough good things about Seasons! It's a real community spot, with cheerful, knowledgable service. I don't have much of a green thumb, and Deborah (who grows the plants herself), was so helpful and nice. She set me up with everything I need, and was happy to take requests if she didn't have any of the specifics I was looking for in stock. It's just a wonderful place overall, with a great sense of community and a great selection. I will definitely be going back! read more

I love this place! I've only been a couple of times, but I just went and got myself some new indoor plants and some beautiful flowers, and I'm so happy with them. Deborah and JC are so fun to chat with and they give you really great tips on keeping your plants happy and healthy. I want to come here everyday just to hang out. read more

Seasons is one of my favorite places to visit. And its owner, Deborah, is a big reason for my love of this business. Deborah is extremely knowledgeable about plants and flowers. She has a love for them and what she does--and it shows. The environment is so green and serene that it makes you want to sit and just relax. Unfortunately, no room to really sit but the beauty of the selection that is there will keep you busy. Deborah also sells gardening supplies and you can either put the containers together yourself or she will do it for you. I go in and purchase so that I can garden myself at home but I have had Deborah put some containers together for me, too. I suggest you let her do a container or two for you. You will love what she does! I can go on and on and on. And I wish Deborah many continued years of success. It is wonderful having her in our community. Check out Seasons--you will enjoy yourself. read more
