One of them suggested that if I ever need medication again, I could go to the nearby nurse's station, where basic items like pain relievers are provided at no charge. It's located as you walk down Hollywood Land and you can't miss it since the sign has all of the classic animated characters literally coming off of the page. Friend also really liked that you can get Precious Moments Disney figures here (when we visited) and of course, the Thomas Kincade Disney artwork. You'll see it as the official retail stop at the exit of Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway ride. The stored opened in March 2023 as part of the reimagined Toontown area. This is one of my favorite shops in Disneyland. There is a real model train running above guest's heads inside the shop. The floor designs are themed from toy train tracks. The interior features classic Mickey Mouse cartoons and even incorporating railroad décor. Looking through the merchandise, this is one of the few shops that I consistently see the Disneyland 70th year Magic Key interactive toy in stock. The store also has apparel, accessories, toys, ear hats, mugs, ornaments and more. Many of the items feature Mickey and Minnie! There is even a remote controlled roadster toy car inspired by the Runaway Railway attraction! You can use the Merchandise Mobile checkout via the Disneyland mobile application at this store. This is a store you can easily miss if you're going straight for the theme park rides first. It's located inside Cars Land at Disney's California Adventure. The store feels like it's a part of Route 66. The moment you step inside, the store, you'll see a wide range of roadside souvenir stands that the residents of Radiator Springs would stop by. The weathered signage, mismatched shelves, and cozy layout is such an amazing theme for the store. The merchandise is heavily themed from the Cars universe. You'll see Lightning McQueen and Mater front and center at the store, but there is also retro inspired apparel, pins, toys and collectibles that are themed from the mid century Americana. It's such a fun store! You can see all of the small details that Disney designed within the store since the shops props and décor reference the movies. The shopping experience seamlessly blends in with the Cars themed movies. You could easily spend 30 minutes inside this shop, looking at all of the apparel and merchandise. The gallery specializes in Disney themed artworks, prints, collectibles, housewares, accessories and more. You can browse through framed pieces, posters, mugs, and other merchandise that blends classic Disney magic with art. The gallery also features a drawing station where sketch artists create custom hand drawn art right before your eyes! When my family and I came in on a Friday evening after California Adventure, the Gallery was busy! We saw the large unique Collectible Magic Key! It was cool, but expensive. You could easily spend an hour here looking at all of the Disney art pieces. Over the years, the Wonderground Gallery has celebrated a variety of art styles and periodically hosted meet and greet and even signing events with featured artists! Recently the gallery was refurbished in 2024. Parts of the offerings were moved over to other Disney stores like the Disney Home store. If you're visiting Downtown Disney, I'd highly recommend checking out the Wonderground Gallery. Before taking pictures of the gallery, we did ask a cast member if it was okay, and we were informed it was good to take pictures inside the Art Gallery! My family and I enjoyed our time here.
