We have found dirty underwear left behind and we have replaced AC filters and some problems with the AC working properly, but we have dealt with it. However, this year we booked Sunny Bunz because it clearly said that it was pet friendly and that is what we were looking for. Come to find out, in smaller print, it said no pets allowed. When speaking with someone at Spinnakers reach about this issue, they backed up the homeowner instead of us paying guests. It is clearly misleading to have pet friendly on a site and not allow pets. We would not have booked this house if we had known that it was not pet friendly as stated. The realty company said "that is part of a standard amenities category that identifies pet-related features that may be present at a property if pets are permitted. It is not intended to indicate that pets are allowed." I haven't seen this on houses that don't allow pets before. However, if you look up the meaning of a pet friendly rental property it clearly says, "When a beach rental is labeled pet friendly, it means the property allows pets." That statement has since been removed from the Sunny Bunz listing. I wonder why they needed to remove it since according to them, it doesn't mean anything. I will not be booking with Spinnakers any more due to these shady dealings and not sticking up for the paying renters. I tried to handle this in a nice way with choices of allowing the small pet or refunding my money to be able to book something else, but they wouldn't agree. Had to remind him repeatedly of preexisting damages in the house that he lost track of several times. Was not present when I arrived to get the keys and kept me waiting an hour to collect them. Did not provide a physical home condition report when we arrived, suggesting we download one & print it out (we just moved in, didn't have internet, & did not have a printer on us). These are basic things for any decent real estate agent. Made up false statements of damages after we left. When trying to work with him to get transparency in the process he tried to coerce and intimidate us. Immediately took him to court. Was caught lying in court to the magistrate...under oath. Did not know the law and had to be reminded that he was responsible for providing a final list of expenses (which he never did). He lost the case that day and was forced to pay us back all of our money and all court costs. He put the homeowners in an unfavorable position. I do not know if they had to cover these costs for him. Disrespectful to military service members. Arrogant, incompetent, unprofessional. Moving is a is a trying experience and you need a realtor/property manager who will help you through the process. Josh Reilly's lack of honesty, professionalism, and administrative competence is something you should avoid at all costs. There are plenty of actual GOOD realtors in Marsh Harbor. He is not one of them. If he tries anything shady with you, just document everything and take him to court. His administrative incompetence will help you. Beating him in court was easy.
