Penny, the owner, was very helpful and even called us to be sure everything was working properly. The delivery went seamlessly and the delivery personnel were efficient, courteous and knowledgeable on how to care for our new machines. He even gave me tips on how to get grease out of my husband's clothes! (And no it's not the typical name you see and hear on commercials! I've been that route too many times with no real results.)
The only reason I didn't give five stars is because I like organized paperwork (just a part of my personality and the way I learn things) and instead of getting the information for rebates, warranties etc. in paper format most of the information was delivered verbally and unfortunately I'm a visual learner! (Once we got out to our vehicle, I wrote everything down that I could remember but I forgot a few things.) LOL
However, I can't judge the local store for that, the Sears Corporation as a whole needs to step up their game by giving more "detailed" paperwork to its clientele regarding rebates from electric companies, warranty plans, maintenance etc. This would greatly enhance the buyer's experience and help the owner/staff of the local stores when explaining the information to people like me.
The good thing is, if I have questions, I can call Penny and she'll do her best to help me figure it out. In fact I've already done so regarding one of the things I forgot to write down. She got the answer for me and called back within the hour. (And yes, I wrote that information down!) read more
