E mailed my problem/dissatisfaction and received the following e mail - "Response from the owner 16 hours ago We apologize for the trouble you've faced. This is not the experience we want for our customers. Please contact us at searshomeservices.com or call 1-800-469-4663 so we can assist you further. Thank you for your patience." What utter BS. I called and after going through AI and waiting approximately 45 minutes I finally spoke to a live agent. I explained why I was calling and that agent transferred me to another department. Again an extremely long wait time. Not even where you could leave your number and they would call back. So why did I call - well the tech they sent told me he's never worked on a machine like ours. Further and I quote his response: Technician Comments "Washer Dryer door will not unlock. Removed water. Called Samsung, have go under lock assembly into a hole with a small screwdriver. Can not get my hand down there, plus metal casing is very sharp. Customer declined any repair, will pay trip charge." The next day I removed the top of the washer simply repeating what he attempted, saw the latch and reached in saw the door latch- the door opened. I had no trouble! I requested a refund as this tech had no idea or training and couldn't open the washer door. Why send a tech who has no training. I requested a refund. I believe I'm getting the runaround. I have had 3 visits from a repair technician for the same issue and he is unable to fix my dishwasher. The warrant states that after 3 attempts I would be able to get a new dishwasher. Now I am being told that I have to have another appointment. Considering this to be a fraud outfit. The claim was put in February 9th, next day technician came he said had to order parts. The parts came in mail and I had to wait for 2 weeks for technician to fix. Technician stated he was there and no one was home but I was there the whole day and have two big dogs in which they did not bark. Had to wait another week for them. Technician fixed and left. Washer doing the same problem. Had to wait another week for technician to say it can't be fixed. I paid out 125 for laundromat, 85.00 for the technician, and 57.00 a month for policy. It's the worst service recommendation ever given by a Sears technician. The technician (from sears) did not even bother to run the whole cycle and concluded about a wrong solution of the of the problem. We showed it to another technician, outside of sears and found the problem and also fixed the same day with in 2 hours. both of the service people seemed honest. My reason for the rating. these items have been replaced. Washer drive motor, washer actuator ,washer run capacitor damper assembly tub suspension,suspension bushings and suspension balls. I have the exact same problem have always had, in normal cycle final spin excessive vibration. I think the drum is still too loose and looking on the internet the one item not replaced that could be the problem are the bearings . Please review and advise. read more

Technician came here twice and both times he was rude, sarcastic and unprofessional. Made comments about the washer dryer pair that we purchased just 14 months ago are "junk". Acted irritated and inconvenienced when I asked questions. I had a total of 3 appointments with technicians and my washer is still NOT fixed. Time i between service call is terrible. We have not had a working refrigerator for 6 weeks. The technician showed up with no parts 2 of the 3 service calls that were made. I had to take 3 vacation days off work to accommodate being home for a 8 hour window. The compressor and dryer as well ass all parts to complete my repair were in my possession for a week before anyone showed back up to install them. In that time we lost all of the perishable food we had. Not having technicians readily available is terrible customer service from Sears as well as A&E. We should have been made a priority. 6 weeks is extremely way to long to o resolve an issue like this. read more

The service person was very good, very knowledgable and honest. The reason for the low rating was that he was here for about 10min and determined that the refrigerator could not be fixed. In this circumstance I don't believe I should have been charged $147.00. When item is deemed non-repairable there should be a lower fixed rate especially when he was here for such a short time. read more

The technician was really nice but he did not even pull the stove out, try to turn it on. He just diagnosed the problem based on what we were telling him and quoted a new control board and temperature sensor for the bargain price of $685. When I escalated the issue to LG they sent a tech out and it was a faulty wire that he found by removing the back panel and inspecting the situation. read more

The repairman was fine. The problem was fixed. The rating would have been a 5 if you hadn't included value as a criteria to rate. The part was $48. The labor was $300!!! The actual work took about 20 minutes. I could have purchased a brand new dishwasher for that amount on sale at Lowes. I looked it up. Frigidaire dishwasher $349. I felt sorry for the repairman when he had to say the labor cost. I think he knew how outrageous that was. I taught school and believe me I didnot make $300 an hour. I will not be using your service again. I think I can find someone a bit more reasonable. read more

Sears rescheduled once but overall, the repair tech was very professional and experienced. Had the needed parts on his truck. He also fixed two other issues with dishwasher while he was there. Apparently the contractor who redid our kitchen did a questionable install. Kitchenaid dishwasher is working better than ever. Glad I called these guys. read more

Repairs were completed satisfactorily. During the process, the technician explained what he was doing and asked me if I had any questions. Upon completion, the technician cleaned the area of all work related material and left the area as he found it.
