I was able to schedule a service call on the same day that I initiated the request. At the beginning of the four hour service window I was notified by an automated phone call that the service call could not be completed during the scheduled service window. My schedule did not permit me to extend the service window. The AI-generated service representative tried to re-schedule, but became trapped in a loop. Fortunately the repairman who was assigned to my request got the message and showed up during the scheduled service window. The repairman was very competent and friendly. Upon removal of the front of the appliance, he quickly identified that the problem with my LG washer was a loose wire which he refastened and was on his way. Except for the glitch with the automated rescheduling, I was very satisfied with the timeliness of the response and the service provided. read more

sears never fixed my ice maker and caused more issues with my refrigerator. when I tried to get service to come out and fix it they refused. they charged me over $500 and the ice maker is still broken. I will never use them again. Worst experience. read more

please do not ever purchase a Sears protection agreement and/or any other plan they offer. they do not stand by the agreement you signed up for, my wife and I are both 70 years old and disable, we purchased a hot water heater in 2012 and had it serviced every year in 2020 we had a gas valve replaced in October 14, 2024 it finally gave out and the Sears technician stated it can not be repaired it October 30, 2024 still no answer this is elderly abuse we have contacted BBB and will contact the States Attorney about this scam Sears is running with this protection agreement. read more

We never worry about him taking advantage of us or anyone we recommend him to. He ALWAYS returns calls. He does not EVER blow off a customer. If he isn't sure about something, he calls the resources he works with. I've heard him speak to people at GE re our dryer. He's always very patient and respectful. First time was during the pandemic, and they were the only ones who would come to look at our fridge. They were able to get us a part- even though it took a while due to the supply chain problems caused by the pandemic. Two years later the compressor failed again- not Ellis' fault. It's all on LG. The 3rd time, we called Ellis again and they came right out. But 3 strikes and LG was gone! Then a week ago our dryer - an almost 30 year old Maytag- started acting up. Ellis came right out, diagnosed the problem, got the parts and fixed the dryer. He came when he said he would, and kept us in the loop in terms of getting parts in. We would recommend Ellis repair service to everyone.

Austin was a very friendly and very knowledgable person. He checked over our washer for us and then noticed our dryer. He asked if we'd like him to clean and check that over for a minor cost. They said they showed up and closed the ticket. However, they never showed up, my tenant was at home waiting by the door and our camera system also showed no one showed up. We had to call the home warranty and make sure no payment was made. Looks like this service is trying to scam people. Will be reporting this to the better business bureau. Ismael was great to work with, Sears Home services needs to have a better service program. No one is staying home for the whole day for a 15-minute service repair. They need to call ahead ahead at least an hour before calls or have a better automated system showing where their vehicle is in real time.
