They came to my home in late December after Christmas tell me what was supposed to be wrong with my refrigerator. They came back a week later the refrigerator worked for three days. Then the code came back. It took him another week to get back here. They ordered the parts they were supposed to be here today. That was a week ago, departure here this morning the day of them they called and canceled the appointment for another week so I have to spend another week with my refrigerator not working. I think they're AI is full of it. You cannot reach a real person anywhere anyhow dad ask a question all you get a recording I don't see how they can continue to do business like this. Terrible experience with one of there technician. I would never used them again. I have a home warranty with American Home Shield. They use Sears for appliance repairs. My dishwasher has been broken since January 27, 2026. It's still not repaired, they been out 4 times. The last technician was the first one that came. He was so rude. Never again will I use them. I am peeved about the tech really didn't take the LG machine apart to see what the issue is and telling me that his supervisor or whoever told him that it could not be fixed and that it had to either completely stop working and also that it didn't fit into their realm of getting it actually fixed. Sunday evening, my washing machine stopped mid-cycle with a drum full of water. My multi-generational family *has* to have a washer/dryer for multiple daily loads. Sears Home Services had great reviews, so I booked online for a next-day window. Luckily, my technician showed up earlier rather than later the next day, and a short conversation assured me he likely knew what the problem was. Diagnosed washing machine the first time without looking at it. Placed order for part and came on scheduleed day to fix. Left house with part and machine not working . Called to complain and had them the to do a call back. Took forever. Never gave an arrival time and just showed up while not home.Had to rush home to let in. Looked at it and ordered the same part that they just claimed they installed. Questioned how a new part that was just replaced could go bad and it's new, no answer. It took two months to fix a washer and three different visits for a 15 min fix. Even the second order of parts took two weeks after the second visit to order and was order because I called and complained. The service absolutely sucked and would not want them in my home again. Sears is a complete crap company and service and follow up sucked. Not to mention if you wanted to reach out to sears they dont have a number to reach out to a human to speak with. Would not recommend a crooked company. The brand new control board they took off and replaced was actually the old one and had the manufacturer date of 2023, they said it took so long because it's hard to get parts and waiting to get as soon as manufacturered. The first technician came out to repair my refrigerator and did not check any components and said "it was frozen up to unplug it for two days and it will work." After 3 days it did not work and when I called them back it was another week until the next appointment between 8am and 5 pm. After taking the day off of work they notify me that they aren't coming today and it will be another week before the next appointment between 8am-5pm. This makes three weeks without my refrigerator that should have been fixed on the first appointment. This is now three days I have had to take off of work for poor service and my refrigerator still doesn't work. You can't get a live customer service agent on the phone because it is completely automated and they don't care. I wish there was a zero star option read more

I had an appointment for today between 8:00 and 5:00. We live in the country and have a gate with opener. I was notified by text that the tech was on the way so I waited for him. I stepped away from the window for a couple of minutes and looked out to see the Sears truck waiting at the gate. I pressed the opener but the truck started backing down the driveway as the gate opened. He then backed onto the street and left and never looked back. I went online and found that you were offering your collect service customers faster services than those of us who have home warranties or maintenance agreements. that's appalling to me and my family. Technician refused to go in attic to repair AC. He said he was a big man and said steps to attic wouldn't hold his body weight. Steps/stairs have been used by technicians for over 20 years. Wish we could give 0 stars. We had an appointment for October 31st the technician was to arrive between 8-5pm. At 4:50 pm via text we were told the appointment had to be rescheduled to 11/4/23 again 8-5pm. No one ever showed up or were we contacted. A third appointment was set for 11/6/23 again 8-5 pm. Again NO technician. A fourth appointment was given 11/9/23 8-5pm. At 4:55 pm we were informed that the technician would be at our home by 5:45 pm. Instead 15 minutes later our appointment was cancelled and a 5th appointment was made for the 11/13/23 again. 8-5 pm. DO NOT recommend this business for ANY repairs!!! read more

Don't Buy a Kenmore appliance I had purchased a nice Kenmore refrigerator with an ice maker. Delivery date was March 20, 2018 and as of yesterday my fridge no longer works. It stopped working altogether, no lights, no cooling, my freezer food was thawed out. I have checked different plugs to double check, still not working.
