This appliance repair is the worst in history. You cannot get a person on the phone. The AI is absurd. My original repair should have been done onsite first visit. They needed to order a fan motor for my Fridge (very common part, easy fix). Charged me $172 for the part and I got it the next day. I could have ordered the EXACT SAME MOTOR on Amazon for $24. They insisted I pay labor before the part is even ordered. So, $620 for something very simple and easy to install. Well, now they cannot install it for 8 more days. Are you kidding me? The AI system will not change the install date. Absolutely ridiculous. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. This treatment should never happen to a person and should never cost anywhere this amount. Technicians were good and courteous. However, you prices for parts and labor are outrageous. you want to charge $85 for a $16 part. your labor rate is way too high. No technician was available. This is one more inadequacy of Sears home repair. Expecting a customer to wait from 8 AM to 5 PM is totally unacceptable. The last time I had to do this three times because the part wasn't available and then they sent the wrong parts. I wasted three days to try and get my range repaired. Well, this has been going on for 2 months and your zip department should be fired!!!
