This appliance repair is the worst in history. You cannot get a person on the phone. The AI is absurd. My original repair should have been done onsite first visit. They needed to order a fan motor for my Fridge (very common part, easy fix). Charged me $172 for the part and I got it the next day. I could have ordered the EXACT SAME MOTOR on Amazon for $24. They insisted I pay labor before the part is even ordered. So, $620 for something very simple and easy to install. Well, now they cannot install it for 8 more days. Are you kidding me? The AI system will not change the install date. Absolutely ridiculous. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. This treatment should never happen to a person and should never cost anywhere this amount. I will never use them again! And, get rid of that stupid ignorant AI answering system - get a person moron. read more

George was absolutely awesome with his never give up approach to determining the problem to low water flow from new filters when in service less than 1 month. After replacing the filter housing and inlet water fill valve, he found a loose wire to the fill valve solenoid and upon securing it restored normal flow. read more

Technicians were good and courteous. However, you prices for parts and labor are outrageous. you want to charge $85 for a $16 part. your labor rate is way too high. The representative was fine, but he couldn't schedule a maintenance visit in a reasonable time for the microwave, and couldn't schedule a maintenance visit for the range and refrigerator at all. No technician was available. This is one more inadequacy of Sears home repair. Expecting a customer to wait from 8 AM to 5 PM is totally unacceptable. The last time I had to do this three times because the part wasn't available and then they sent the wrong parts. I wasted three days to try and get my range repaired.
