He wasn't able to do anything because he couldn't remove a screw. So I had to pay $130 ( even though I was quoted $120) for nothing!

We requested a technician to service our new GE washing machine 3 weeks ago. The first 2 appointments with other companies GE set up were no shows. Technician Austin was very helpful and friendly, but was at a disadvantage trying to clarify the myriad service charges, warranties and online offers for so-called "preventive maintenance" for a charge of $129.99. Several years ago , I requested cleanings for my Kenmore washer and dryer. The excellent technician cleaned the inside of the washer, leveled both machines, cleaned dryer lint traps and replaced the aluminum vent tubing to outside. When I responded to your email for cleaning and maintenance, I assumed a repeat of past services. I also requested a service call for my top-loading washer ( lid switch not making proper contact). The washer works except that I have to press down on the lid to engage spin and rinse cycles. Not worth a repair charge of almost $400.00! Austin cleaned the dryer lint trap at my request, but no other maintenance was performed. I am not going to buy a lot of service contracts for appliances over 20 years old-- and very reliable. It would be helpful if you could list the services to be included in your online offers. Your definition of preventative maintenance seems to be different from mine. I still recommend Sears repair services. Appliances today aren't built like those of twenty years ago. But I don't want to be bombarded with persistent warranty offers. I want straightforward reports from competent technicians and fair parts and labor prices. read more

Had an appointment scheduled for Monday from 8-5 to look at fridge that would not cool. Got a confirmation email. Stayed home all day and no one showed up and never heard a peep from anybody. Tried to call but could not reach a live body. Would not recommend much less try again to use. read more

Austin evaluated our Refrigerator problem and gave us his best diagnosis: that the wiring inside the freezer door has become worn after years of opening and closing that door. The freezer door houses the wiring that runs along the bottom of the refrigerator door up and into the door and to the water dispenser. He believes the door would have to be replaced (which may not even correct the problem). Austin said he bases his opinion on similar models that have had the same problem with their water dispensers. Choice Home Warranty has denied our claim based on Austin's report; however, we believe the water dispensing problem is caused by normal wear and tear and nothing else since everything was working fine when we took ownership of the 9-year-old house two years ago. We are, therefore, appealing the ruling and awaiting a reply. read more

Austin was friendly, but he didn't fix the problem of the washer leaking. He ran and "rinse and spin" to check before he left. But immediately after he left, I ran a load on "normal" and there was more water under the washer at the end of the cycle than had ever been before. He did an initial diagnosis when he first came out without even taking the washer apart based on what I told him. But clearly that wasn't the issue because with new parts, it was the same issue, only worse. This was a very expensive repair and one that we had to wait 2 weeks for. To not have it fixed correctly is very frustrating. I've called Sears to have someone come back out, but not sure when that will happen. read more

My service tech was horrible. She called after 5pm to confirm she was coming for a 8a-5p appt time frame, while trying to get out of coming. Arrived and complained the whole time. "Why is it hot in here? I didn't know it was going to be a tight space." Probably serves NO STARS! Please find a new job if you are that unhappy. read more

Our air conditioning has been out for 3 weeks. My husband has called 3 times, been told that no appointments are available & that he would be called back in 48-72 hours to set something up. NOBODY CALLS. He has been on the phone today for over 2 hours, getting shuffled from one person to another, getting cut off, having to repeat EXACTLY THE SAME INFORMATION EVERY TIME and getting nowhere. There was a time when Sears was a trusted name, but it's not hard to see why the company is going bankrupt. The unit has been installed for slightly over a year, and this is the second time it has broken down. The windows they installed were also done in a slipshod manner. I do not recommend this company for any project, great or small, in northeastern Oklahoma, and if we do not get a response in the next 48 hours, we will be contacting our lawyer & the Better Business Bureau. read more

Indicated that the icemaker had a frozen line. Thawed the line and the ice maker worked for 2 days, NOW ITS FROZEN AGAIN!!!

They are zero help in any way. I need a simple part. Spray arm for a hotpoint dishwasher. The part is available at numerous online parts companies. As well as on Amazon available for delivery tommorrow. They advertise that they have trucks out in Tulsa daily. A repair truck should carry such a common basic part on board but when you call either appliance repair or parts you are connected with India. I can barely understand them and the even less me. Furthere they obviously try to track your phone number because they start querying your name etc and tons of other useless tactics. I will be certain to not buy appliances or recommend them to anyone. read more

This is the best experience I've had with a home improvement project. The installers were experts! I decided to remodel my kitchen after staring at it for 20 plus years. My consultants were extremely helpful in guiding me on what goes together well and new ideas for the functionality of my kitchen. I had to wait about two weeks for my countertops to come in after my cabinets were finished. I guess they template after the cabinets are set for accuracy on a kitchen remodel versus a refaced job. This wasnt a huge issue though. They provided me with a temporary wood countertop and a temporary sink and faucet. I couldn't be happier with the end result! Will look at doing my windows next. Kudos to the company! read more

From the initial sales visit to the job conclusion this whole thing was a nightmare. First the sales Rep tells me I will receive 172.00 in spendable points at the end of the job this turns out to be 17.20 for a 17,243.00 remodel. I didn't try to redeem. the work was sloppy and it took twice as long as I was told. I would not Use them again nor would I refer them to anyone. read more

I sincerely regret doing business with these people; wish I had NEVER heard of Transform Home Sears (Tulsa, OK). I signed my contract on 06/30/20. They showed up 08/24/20; after 5 days of what was suppose to be a 3-4 day job, installer said he couldn't complete it because of wrong size shower door. It would of taken at least another month to get the door. So, I called someone else. It was a nightmare to get credit for door I didn't receive; installer made multiple damages/mistakes in my bathroom; I was charged over $28,000.00 for what was probably a 14,000.00 job (I'm being generous with that figure); I'm pretty sure my walk in tub is defective. I HATE this company; they lie about everything; have attitude problems; charged for the entire job 5-6 weeks before they even begin the remodel (lied about that-more of their "creative financing". Who has to totally pay for a job that has never even been started? They convince people to do business with them using the Sears name, but they only have the name/logo, not the values and customer service of old Sears company. I invested a great deal of my savings into trying to get a handicap accessibly bathroom. I'm 69; have a rare autoimmune disorder with partially paralyzed legs. They could care less how they inconvenience someone like me. They have made my life a living hell. I will regret this decision forever. Anyway, karma is a ____! I pray everyday that it catches up with these people, especially their billionaire CEO. Oh yeah, the 12 months interest free starts from day contact is signed, but they don't bill for 6 months, so you are way behind before you receive statement and, of course, you only have until contract date of next year to pay off without interest or get billed hundreds of dollars in interest. Has to reschedule an appointment on 06/08/17 because the consultant was running an hour behind. On 06/12/17, cancelled after consultant was 1.5 hours late and they couldn't reach her. Two stars because the customer service representatives were very nice and apologetic. read more

Our home warranty company scheduled dryer repair with Sears. When I called Sears to confirm appointment they couldn't find it searching by our phone number. I called back again, spoke with someone else & they found it by our address, confirmed appointment. Repair rep showed up to the house in the middle of the appointment window saying she had been trying to call but had the wrong number. She needed my help several times to get into the dryer and start diagnosing the problem. Then she had to call tech support to be told what to do to trouble shoot the problem and figure out how to fix it. Once she decided what part it needed she scheduled an appointment for the following Friday. On Wednesday we received a package at the house - apparently the part the dryer needs but they didn't tell us they were shipping it to us. On Friday I called to confirm our appointment before leaving work and it had been cancelled because they were trying to call us & couldn't get ahold of us. At least 2 different people at Sears knew the phone number was wrong and did not update the customer profile with the number I had given them. It is beyond me how they got the wrong number in the first place since the home warranty people electronically transmit the service requests! The phone representatives are very hard to understand on the phone and constantly start talking while you are trying to answer the question they just asked. If I ever need service again I will specify that I do no want Sears. read more

I will not be using Sears for repairs ever. I Scheduled an appointment online from 3pm to 6pm. The lady contacted me stating she will be out after she was finished with the client she was working on. 6pm came around and still no tech or a call stating she was running late. I contacted customer support who advised me she would put in a status call. The tech called me with-in five minutes. She stated she was running an hour behind and would be out then. 7pm came and she called stating it was getting late and she would have to re-schedule for two days out. I called customer service to let them know i waited all day for an scheduled appointment to find out the tech was not going to come out. As i called the voice recording had stated i was now in the time bracket of 6pm to 8pm. When the tech answered and we started talking she advised me that anything after 6 was over time and they do not have to come out. (The voice message stating i was in a time bracket from 6pm to 8pm and the tech would still be coming to the house should be removed then.) Worst experience ever and I will no longer use them for any repair. read more
