    BJ's Chicken & Wafles

Ordered some takeout since I wanted to give this place a try. Did not regret at all. The place looks beautiful on the inside, and it's easy to locate. The service was great, they had me in and out. Nice guy behind the counter. Some of the best fried chicken that I have ever tasted in my life, not joking at all. Nearly tasted like my mama's chicken, I thought I was back home for a second. The Waffle was done just right as well, and they gave me 2 cups of syrup instead of just 1. I'll be coming back here in the future.

I loved that this place isn't too far from my house but I hate that it's connected to a cigar lounge because you could smell it inside of the restaurant. They need to work on the insulation quick.. As far as the food, it was good but the wait was quite a while. I will try them again but I definitely need them to fix the smell

Great Fairburn brunch option! Nice and quaint with the decor. Very nice and friendly staff. Food was simple and reminded me of food cooked in a home kitchen but had its restaurant flair and delicious! They did a trick with the pancakes I had never seen with the crispy outside and fluffy inside. A good variety of Mimosa's to make brunch complete!

Hubby and I were hungry and we wanted breakfast and it was getting kinda late in the morning. We hate having to go into Atlanta...for anything really so we decided to look for something to the South of us. We'd run across Searra's a few weeks ago but chose another spot. This week we decided to try it out and I am glad we did! It's a cute little spot with about 10 tables/booths give or take. We were greeted by the host who we later found out was the owner - very sweet and humble. She asked if we wanted takeout or dine in. We chose to dine in but had second thoughts considering it was a bit chilly in there. Could be that the recent rain brought the temperature down and are it seem cooler. It warmed up as more people came in (or they adjusted the thermostat). I originally wanted the chicken and waffles with a side of cheese eggs but when hubby ordered the catfish and grits I changed my order to match. Best decision EVER (though I'll be back for the chicken and waffles. First, presentation. Check the pic. Everything looked amazing! Now for the real test. I don't know what exactly I was expecting, but my mind was blown! When we were served we were asked if we needed anything else and I asked for hot sauce. This needed NOTHING! As far as I'm concerned they can even take the salt and pepper off the table! The fish and grits were seasoned to perfection and the eggs didn't disappoint either. Listen, this is a cute little spot with amazing food and quite frankly, they owe me nothing...but the chicken and waffles I'm coming back for!

My party of 4 dined in on a late Saturday morning around 1130am. We walked in and luckily snagged the last open table. The establishment is fairly small with 6 tables and 4 booths, each seating 4 people comfortably. The menu consisted of both breakfast and lunch items all reasonably priced. There are mimosas available as well with a variety of juice options. We decided on the catfish with cheese grits, cheese eggs, kids meal french toast, fruit cup, chicken sausage, peach tea, and raspberry tea. Our drinks came out immediately and the teas were amazing! I liked the peach more than the raspberry since it tasted a bit too sweet. There was quite a good wait for the food, about 35-40 minutes. When it arrived everything was just as we ordered, hot, and delicious! The catfish was seasoned well but could've used a little less breading. The dish was topped with a tasty sauce that made it stand out from any other fish and grits I've had before. I'd definitely order it again. The service was great. We were given updates on the wait before our food came out and checked on regularly. There is an automatic gratuity of 18% which we definitely don't mind. The hours are limited as the restaurant is only open Wed through Sun until 2pm. This restaurant is a great addition to the area and I'll surely be back.

We were planning to go Cracker Barrel across the street, but the wait was 45 minutes and I'm so glad it was because we ended up here! I'll definitely be back. I got their omelette, which was delicious and reasonably priced and their French toast which was as delicious as it was beautiful looking! Thanks to our server for being really kind and top of things!

First of, the staff was genuine, attentive and helpful from the time we arrived to the time we left. The vibe was giving breakfast at Tiffany's mixed with Neo-soul. The food was amazing. The girts were creamy, the salmon was fresh and flavorful and the omelette was delicious with all the toppings. The Georgia Peach moscato was soothing with flavor. Definitely a place I will go back for more. Check them out yall!!!

The food was amazing. I had the chicken and waffles. The garden mimosa was delish and was the perfect pairing to my meal. Def would go again, the staff was very friendly.

    Ultimate BEC

Cute little place decorated with a fresh turquoise decor and interior. Very much enjoyed their Ultimate BEC - bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on sourdough bread. Give them a try!

I was curious so I decided to look it up on Google Maps and saw that they had some good reviews and the type of breakfast/brunch food I was looking for. When I walked in, they were very busy and the wait would've been about 30 minutes so I decided to order my food to go. I was told they take reservations during the week. While I was waiting, I got a chance to meet the owners and they were so nice and told me they were moving to a larger space this Summer. I decided to try the flavored lemonade and I got the mango flavor. It was so delicious and refreshing. My order didn't take too long to be prepared. I ordered the beignets. I also ordered shrimp and salmon grits and I got my salmon blackened and I got the peach cobbler bread pudding. My key takeaways are the salmon and shrimp grits dish was very flavorful. It was hot and fresh, and it was the perfect portion. My beignets were hot and fresh and I loved the taste and texture but it was missing the powdered sugar and I would've liked to have had a dipping sauce, maybe chocolate caramel or strawberry with it, not sure if I should've asked for it or if it should've came as an addition. I personally did not care for the peach bread pudding. It was too sweet and for some reason didn't actually remind me of bread pudding so I would probably try a different dessert like the red velvet cake next time. Overall, my experience was great and I definitely can't wait to return.

The first time, I dined in with my son and also ordered fish and grits to go. About 10 minutes after receiving my meal, I got the to-go order, but the cooks refused to separate the fish from the grits. As a result, I had to cut my meal short and leave so the fish wouldn't become soggy. The second visit was with my husband. I ordered the grit bowl exactly as listed on the menu. I was told the onions and peppers came on the potatoes instead of the grits, which was fine because I mainly wanted the spinach anyway. When the meal arrived, there was no spinach. The waitress checked with the cooks, and they claimed the spinach did not come with the meal, even though it was clearly listed on the menu. They then attempted to charge extra for it, despite it being included in the advertised price. I also asked to speak with a manager, but no manager ever came out. Unfortunately, the poor communication and lack of customer service from the kitchen staff and management overshadowed what could have been a much better experience.

The wait was long and came out staggered and slowly. We first received 1/2 of our appetizers of fried green tomatoes which could have been fried crisper and the deviled eggs which were tasty but dry first. After a long wait we received our Catfish nuggets were tasty but very greasy and needed to be fried crisper as well. And blueberry Biscuit bite which reminded us of New Orleans beignets. Then the entrees arrived Waffles and Chicken Wings were tasty and crispy but chicken needed seasoning . Catfish fillet and grits entree was a tiny (1/2) piece maybe of catfish fillet. Grits good and creamy. We were in the restaurant 2 whole hours. Too much time spent waiting for food.
