One prepared so well that you think about it for the rest of the day. From the moment I stepped in until I placed my order, all the staff were so friendly and attentive (not just with me but all the other customers that kept entering the establishment). The lobster rolled was not dressed like what you'd usually find in New England. In fact, it was lightly seasoned and allowed you to taste the sweetness of lobster meat itself and how perfectly cooked it was! You can't hide quality when serving it almost bare like this that it's a purist's dream! Dang, I can't stop thinking about! The shrimp sandwich was another simple culinary delight executed well. Perfectly cooked shrimp, dressed lightly, on a nicely toasted buttered brioche with crisp lettuce and tomatoes. I inhaled this just as quickly with my eyes rolling with every bite. Dang it again. The gluten-free clam chowder was a great way to finish off this quick meal. Perfectly balanced, tasty, salted perfectly, and loaded with chunky clams. What a way to warm up in this NE chilly weather this time of year. Without even trying their other fresh seafood options, they've already made it to my list of must-visits when in the area. Can't wait to be back again!

They cooked up well and certainly scratched that sweet lobster meat itch. Service was efficient and curt. The fella was on a mission & didn't seem to be chatty. (The gal in front of us went for small talk & was met with short replies- not rude, just direct.) The case was clean & well-lit. We considered getting scallops, as they looked good. Instead, opted to stop next door for a cheese appetizer, spreading the love.

They offer full service dine-in and takeout. This place is not to be confused with another Great Island Eatery in Maine. For breakfast, they serve breakfast sandwiches, acai bowls and coffee. For lunch/dinner, they serve up salads, sandwiches, fish tacos, crab cakes, lobster rolls, fried seafood plates, chicken tenders, hot dogs, shrimp cocktail, oysters, and cold drinks from the cooler. They also serve Memories Ice Cream, beer, wine, liquor, and mixed drinks. The prices are moderate high. The seating areas are open air (seat yourself) with covered table seating in the eatery, adjacent patio table seating, a canopy covered table seating section along the waterfront and adjacent picnic table seating. I stopped by Great Island Eatery (NH) for a quick dinner. I sat myself at a table in The Eatery since the waterfront seating was full. I was given a laminated menu and a plastic cup of cold water. I went with the Fish & Chips ($19 plus tax), which came out to me about 6 minutes later, served in a paper takeout box with plenty of crispy salted golden fries (small pieces), house slaw, a good sized piece of deep fried haddock and lemon wedge. The haddock was hot and had a very crispy oily light breading (panko), dipping into the provided tartar sauce. There was also a ketchup squeeze bottle at the table which I definitely needed for the salted fries. The shredded slaw had a vinegary taste and pretty decent. After I finished everything, the server arrived with a Square portable electronic payment block which you pay for your check by card electronically. The check total was $20.62 with tax and before tip. Overall, the fish & chips were pretty good and I had a great view of the waterfront, even from my seat in the Eatery. NOTE: The nearby gravel/paved parking lot configuration is very short-sighted and poorly thought out, by limiting parking for folks who only want to patronize the waterfront marina restaurant outside of a gated parking area for marina members with plenty of open spots. It was difficult trying to leave as folks waiting to park were blocking exiting vehicles.

Fantastic experience, all around. I met two college roommate friends for lunch on a summer Monday. It was a perfect place for a beautiful day on the water. Note: there is a members gate at the parking lot. Park in any designated restaurant parking spot and walk down a short distance to the restaurant. Restrooms are housed between the parking lot and restaurant. Seating is all outside, or indoors open to air (it looked like there were plastic sides that could be rolled down for inclement weather). The server told us to sit anywhere we wanted. If you want to order alcohol there are designated areas (state regulation or some such rules). Every seat has a great view of all the fancy boats docked in the marina. An easy way to feel like you're rich, even if you're not. :) Flower plantings were beautiful. The strawberry lemonade was outstanding: sweet, tart, and refreshing. My friends enjoyed overflowing mai tais. The fish tacos were excellent - hot and crispy fried fish, with delicious slaw, pickled onions, and sriracha aioli. A wonderful spot for old friends to catch up and spend a few hours on our beautiful seacoast! I will definitely return, and hopefully have more time to walk down the docks to check out all the amazing boats.

The beans are really good. But the onion rings were my favorite. I think they were some of the best onion rings I've had. You might want to get here early because the parking is very limited near the lobster pier. If you don't mind walking, there is additional street parking nearby.

And...their BYOB policy means you can bring a nice bottle of Chardonnay to pair with your lobster (which was exactly what we did). The menu is standard lobster house - whole lobster, lobster rolls, clam chowder, etc. I ordered at the counter and paid. The clerk was friendly, helpful and efficient. We had a picnic table by the water. The place wasn't crowded for late lunch. Some guest brought table cloths and flowers for their tables. Classic rock played over speakers. The Clam Chowder came out quickly as I sipped my wine. The chowder was thick with lots of large chunks of clam. The soup was absolutely delicious. I had a Lobster Roll, which was served on a soft hamburger-style bun. The lobster was tender, fresh and perfectly cooked. The sandwich was served with chips that were too salty for me. My cousin had a tuna roll, which was packed with creamy tuna. As we sat on the dock, a fisherman delivered fresh bass to the restaurant. Tanks of live lobster are in a small building so you can select a lobster to go. The parking is really limited. But you can drive up on your boat if you want. There are some hefty stairs to climb.

It's upscale without being stuffy. It has superb service, we went there twice and the first time, at night, we struck up a conversation with a really friendly bartender who gave us a rundown of the nice places in the area to see and visit. The venue maintained good pandemic protocols with plenty of social distancing. And of course, the location next to the gorgeous docks with the yachts coming in and out, made the ambiance just delightful. But the most delightful part was when the super efficient waiter brought my lunch. I didn't want a heavy carbo lunch so I chose the lobster salad. Oh... My.... God.... It came out magnificently prepared in an attractive manner. And it was absolutely delicious. Hands down. A superb meal. One definite place for all; spectacular views, great food, superb service and casual yet upscale ambiance.

To be honest, the only thing I would cite was an over abundance of boat shoe wearing pretentious asses pretending to be Thurston Howell IV. We've only been here a day, but without a doubt, the highlight thus far has been this restaurant and the people making it happen there. Keep it up - well done.

We were also sat quickly. Salad bar no longer has chilled plates even though the chilled plate sign is still there, bring that back. It's a nice touch. Soup bar, minestrone was dull. Needing flavor. Also have little saucer plates to put under cup. Hard to carry a cup of soup by the cup without it making a mess or burning you. Onion rings needed to be hotter and crispier, little floppy and batter was slightly under done. Fried haddock filet was skinny and flimsy. Salmon was ok, little dry and skin was left on and slimy. Crisp that skin if you're leaving it on! Mixed veg was a flop with mushy, mealy tomato chunks in the mix that didn't make sense and rice pilaf was super watery and flavorless. Pumpkin bread was still yummy, tabouli needs bulgar in it, not just loads of parsley and bring back baked potatoes.
