Highly recommend this dentist. I've been going here for about 8 years now. They're really easy to schedule/reschedule with. They validate parking and have access to a huge parking lot right across the street so it's really easy to get to. I got Invisalign through them and they were great- at that time I had to drive in very regularly and even when I was away for an extended time, they were helpful to plan ahead and send me with more trays. There are some businesses out there that should be banned from operating for good. This is a very simple example of that. This place is unprofessional, rude front desk, and a talk-talk do nothing approach from some of the doctors. Dr. Rooney is the one who helped me with an implant a couple of years ago. It's a front one. It cost $7,000 - just for the record. The metal piece is showing from gum recession. Looks terrible. My general dentist said this should never happen and that there was a mistake made by the doctor who did the crown. I called Dr. Rooney, she spoke for hours and said she will get back to me and she never did. During the same conversation, however, she tried to blame another doctor in her office. This is the level of people who manage this place. Do yourself a favor and stay away. read more

This is my second time going to Seaport Dental. It is incredibly clean and everyone there is super helpful! I went in for a quick chip tooth and we were able to resolve the problem within minutes. I am super thankful for the professionalism and the cleanliness and timeliness of the appointment making and staff once you arrive. I did not wait more than 2 minutes before being taken back! My dentist recently retired and I needed a new dentist. My sister recommended Seaport Dental because she had a great experience and I could not have been more pleased. Dr. Rooney is so friendly and honest. For example, I had my back tooth pulled years ago and other dentists have suggested an implant. Dr. Rooney examined and explained that she didn't want to do unnecessary, expensive work if it isn't needed. Also, my hygienist, Casey, is really friendly and gentle. I highly recommend! read more

I went to Seaport Dental once after not going to the dentist for about a year. I made the mistake of mentioning that because after the x-rays they told me that I needed a lot of work done. I knew something fishy was happening when my dentist told me that he had no idea how much the work would cost because "the girls up front handle all of that." I remember wondering what dentist wouldn't at least have an idea. Sure enough I got the call a few hours later that nearly $700 would be required out of pocket. I did not get the work done. Six months later when I got an appointment with a dentist who I had used for years before and trusted, I was told that I did not require any work at all and just needed to be better about going in for regular cleanings. Sure the office is pretty and everyone is nice there, but if you want to give them your money unnecessarily, be my guest. I don't write many reviews and use yelp more as an information guide and when I noticed the high rating for Seaport Dental, I decided my story needed to be told. Long overdue review, but now that I'm finally on Yelp... Dr. Rooney is a bit of a con artist (very pushy on unnecessary fillings and cosmetic dentistry and unwilling to share X-rays), but I did like my hygienist. Unfortunately, I've forgotten her name, but that's the only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of 1. I always knew I had two small cavities between my upper teeth ever since, well, braces. The dentist I had back home made me aware of this but said they were nowhere close to coming through the enamel, and there would be no point filling them (as fillings would only cut away at the rest of an otherwise healthy tooth). Then I arrive at Seaport Dental. My hygienist takes new X-rays and says everything looks good, except for one small shadow she doesn't think requires any work. Then Dr. Rooney comes in to "take a final look" and in all of 5 seconds decides I need THREE fillings, and would I like to go ahead and schedule those right now? Say what? When I hesitated, she showed me the X-rays and said "see, right there, it's obvious..." Sorry, lady, but I'm not a medical professional. Those just look like teeth to me, and you damn well know it. When I tried to request the X-rays to get a 2nd opinion, they refused to provide full-sized replicas, only tiny little printouts about 1" wide. Even based on those, however, I followed up with two other dentists who both agreed that fillings were unnecessary. read more

Front desk person and doctor get 0 stars. Hygienist gets 5 stars. For cleaning, they are great. Stay away from this practice if you need any work to be done, including a simple filling. Very deceitful billing practices. I went for my 6-month cleaning 6-months ago and Dr. advised to take care of my one potentially developing cavity, even though they have been watching it for a year and nothing has changed (I learned that for the first time by the way). Dr. recommended to schedule a short appointment because my Delta Premier insurance resets allotted balance at end of the year. I figured great let them take care of it. They schedule a new appointment. After few minutes procedure (no local anesthesia because it was too small of a potential cavity), I'm out of over $200 + deductible because my insurance does not cover a filling that this practice uses on top and side of the same tooth (I kid you not-- this is how this was explained to me by the front desk lady). Had it been one side tooth filling, it would have been covered. Turns out they knew about it not being covered as the front desk lady gave me a giant receipt with a smiley face as soon as the filling was done. No one explained to me that this will cost me neither during scheduling appointment when they advised to get one nor before procedure. read more

I was torn about writing a review for Seaport Dental, because I still have mixed feelings. I had some work done there in the spring and summer of 2012. I will start off by saying that the office and staff are top of the line. I felt extremely comfortable and Dr. Rooney was one of the best dentists I've ever seen. The office seemed to have the latest in dental technology, gadgets I've never experienced before. Plenty of parking across the street and whatnot... However, a financial issue has left a sour taste in my mouth and is preventing me from returning there in the future. Upfront, I was provided with a detailed list of out-of-pocket expenses for the procedures I was going to have done. A month or two after the final procedure, I received a bill for $500+ in the mail from Seaport Dental for what my insurance did not cover, and the difference ended up being due to a specialty dentist performing work on me for one of my procedures. This dentist is apparently not officially part of the Seaport Dental staff and is only there once a week or so. Apparently he charges a higher rate, and thus I ended up having to pay for it... without being informed of this up front in the payment plan... The office manager wasn't the most responsive or receptive during our email interactions regarding the matter, and the entire situation has really turned me off. I would recommend Seaport Dental to anyone because it's a great place but please, review your bills carefully!!! read more

I went here for a year in 2011, and every time I went there was some sort of mixup with their billing. They overbilled me, then denied it, then admitted it, but delayed reimbursing me. My boyfriend used them as well, and he also experienced incorrect billing with every service. They're really nice people, but the billing was so weird that I stopped going. read more

I am confused by some of the recent bad reviews here. I've been a patient for over 2 years and I've never had any issues with billing, or being told that unnecessary work needs to be done. Granted, I have good dental health, and get cleanings as I should, regularly. The office is clean, Dr.'s Rooney and Greenberg are great and the entire staff is nice. They have lunch time appts and appts after 5 pm, which is perfect for someone who works in the Seaport, like myself. I highly recommend Seaport Dental! Seaport Dental is clean and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I consulted Dr. Rooney for orthodontics to see if I needed Invisalign. Her bedside manner was amazing and she was super honest with me. She said that I would be better off seeing an orthodontist for braces and referred me out. The consult I had was completely free and even after she learned she couldn't help me, she spent several minutes explaining to me what was going on with my teeth. Honesty is a difficult trait to find in the field of dentistry and I appreciated Dr. Rooney very much. The reviews about Seaport Dental seem mixed. I was surprised, after my first cleaning that so many people had had bad experiences. Rest-assured, I read every single review here (even the hidden ones!) and, as a result, decided to put the place to the test when I had another appointment scheduled for a crown and a filling. I questioned my bill (after it had been thoroughly explained to me in the previous appointment), I requested XRays and records, I expressed doubts about the treatment plan, and I asked a lot of questions about my insurance, and what was covered. In short, I acted a little bit like a "B," albeit a relatively polite one, interested in exploring the bounds of what I could do to challenge the office show me that everything was above-board. They gave me copies of my records without question (in fact, I almost forgot about it before they handed me an envelope with the information I had requested the previous day!), they made me multiple copies of the itemized bill, and were happy to take as much time as I needed explaining it. The dentist discussed treatment with me in extreme detail, and gave me options for different approaches. They also put up with me constantly adjusting the volume and angle of the TV right above the chair (always nice when you have an hour and a half of drilling to get through!), and gave me a double-dose of Novocaine, although that's something I would have requested, regardless! In short, 1 filling and 1 crown came to $760 after insurance. Yes, teeth are expensive. Yes, the state of dental insurance in this country sucks. Yes, I would absolutely make sure that this place is "in network" for your insurance plan before you go (I heard the receptionist explaining that they were not in a potential patient's insurance network over the phone while I was in the office, as well, so you can probably call and ask if you're unsure). But, if you have the opportunity to go to Seaport, I would highly recommend it! One reviewer mentioned that they like to push cosmetic procedures. There was a little bit of that when I first came in (they asked if I was interested), and, after I told them I wasn't, I never heard about it again. I'd rather have that sort of situation than not know whitening and straightening options exist at all, but I just didn't find them to be "pushy" with the cosmetics during my two visits. read more

Changed my life. No, really. I had braces as a kid. Once the braces were removed, my smile was great, but I was lazy with the retainers. Over the years, my front teeth "drifted" so far forward that I got really self-conscious. I felt like I had a donkey mouth. My teeth are enormous and I talk, smile and laugh a lot. I bit the bullet and got an Invisalign treatment and now I love my teeth. Invisalign is a great option for those of us who don't want to wear traditional braces in their late 20s. I highly recommend it. But this review is about Seaport Dental... I worked in the area and someone in my office recommended them when I needed a new dentist. I had been thinking of Invisalign, but my first appointment was for a cleaning/check-up. When I asked about Invisalign, Dr. Rooney and her staff were very helpful -- but not pushy. (You get a star for that. I hate feeling pressured.) Here are the other four stars: (1) As all the others have said, the office is high tech, super clean and is run like a well-oiled machine. (2) You might find the TV screen showing the inside of your mouth -- and all your oral health maintenance shortcomings -- disconcerting. I found it educational and cool. (But I really should floss more.) (3) They have early morning and evening appointments available and were always on time. I also love the email confirmations/reminders for appointments (as opposed to phone or post card). (4) Dr. Rooney and the technicians take their time when answering any questions you have. They are personable and knowledgeable. One of the biggest disappointments of switching jobs is that my current dental insurance isn't accepted at Seaport Dental. I looked for a while trying to find a "good' dentist... now this, is a great dentist. It's run entirely by women, which shows in every way. Everything is pristine and clean- very sterile like a dentist should be! I have the same hygienist every time and she always picks up where our conversation we left off last time! The doctor is just as nice. They took an Xray on my first appointment and showed me this cool 3D image of what my mouth looks like; there's a monitor right in front of you that they pull down- it's very high tech and it's nice to know they have all the right equipment. I would recommend this to anyone! AND they have a free parking lot. Hooray! read more

I have been going here for probably around 3 years and I have never had a bad experience. All of the women there are extremely friendly and are more than willing to explain what they are doing and why. They have these terrific TV monitors in front of you while you're in the chair so you can see pictures and x-rays of your teeth. They explain exactly what you're looking at and are extremely patient if you have any questions. State of the art equipment, clean office, smiling faces. What more can you ask for in a dentist? To be honest, it's not 5 stars because I absolutely can not give a perfect score to a place I hate as much as the dentist! (Nothing personal, but I would rather listen to nails on a chalkboard all day and night than get my bum in that chair!) read more

I went to Seaport Dental a few weeks ago and had a great experience! The staff, hygenists and Dr. Rooney are all fantastic. It is sort of like going to a futuristic space dentist office with only female employees and pink gloves and sexy technology like flat screen plasma tvs that show you your x-rays 2 seconds after they're taken. Hard to argue that you need a filling when you can see the tooth decay in high resolution. In keeping with their high tech office equipment they have you fill out you paperwork electronically before you come in and you can give them insurance info and schedule appointments over email. Love this place. Everyone is very nice and the office is very clean. The hygienist was very good, efficient and quick. She made sure to explain everything she was doing and showed me all of the x-rays and pictures. Dr. Greenberg was also very good, he answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable. I had one small possible cavity, but they advised me to just watch it and see if it gets worse over time. They also play great music in the office! I loved the friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Best dental experience of my life, I never realized a cleaning could be pleasant and not painful! The staff are amazing, knowledgable and all about their patient's comfort and health. The office uses some new technology that rocks! They have a water pik type device that cleans your teeth instead of the metal pik. No more bleeding gums and weird scraping sensations! They also take photos of your teeth in addition to x-rays, so you can see what's going on in there and you are confident they aren't trying to screw you with dental work. I had a fabulous experience here! I have had several poor experiences with dentists in the last few years in Boston, and was nervous to try a new dentist. The dental hygienist I saw was so friendly and nice, and explained every step that they do at their office. She answered ALL of my questions and dealt with my goofiness all with a smile. I have never been to such a high tech dentist before, and appreciated all of the diagnostic equipment a ton...actually really interesting learning about what the tools do, and getting to see all of my x-rays immediately, and looking with the hygienist at them and the areas that might be problematic. I really enjoyed Dr. Rooney as well, she too is super friendly and open, and I never felt rushed or demeaned (which I did at my last dentist downtown...). Lastly, the decor is very nuevo and spa-like, and I actually left the office feeling extremely relaxed and energized! Looking forward to my next cleaning! read more

Short version: The dental practice is good and that's what I'm looking for at the end of the day. Everyone is really friendly so kudos for that. They can drop the ball sometimes on the admin stuff which so far hasn't been a HUGE inconvenience to me, but I fear for the day that something will happen that will annoy the crap out of me. Long version: I came here for an Invisalign special because I found it on Groupon and they are walking distance from my office, but I ended up switching dentists entirely. The facilities are clean and they are easy to book which is really important to me. The only thing that can be a little annoying is that admin drops the ball which can be a headache. Throughout my time coming here, there have been 3 instances my appointment got messed up when I called to reschedule. I have always called well in advance as they require 48 hr notice or else $50 charge. The good thing is that they owned up to their error and I never got charged $50 but then the time I had rescheduled for would be booked so I'd need to find a new time. Another time is I switched insurance carriers but left my card at home so I paid up front for cleaning. It took nearly 4 months to get reimbursed. Who can say for sure, but I think the delay was on their end because my insurance carrier was super easy to deal with and sent me all the documentation to let me know that they had paid my dentist when I called to ask them 2 months after my procedure. It took me about 2 months just to get in touch with the person responsible for billing. "She's not here but we'll tell her to call you back" and then you wait forever and end up calling back weeks later. When I finally got in touch with her, she said that she'll process it, apologize for the delay, but then I think she forgot because I had to call back a month later to say I didn't see it come through... then it appeared within a week or so. It wasn't a big bill so I didn't mind footing it, but it's just one of those things that you want to get taken care of quickly. read more

I've never left a dentist's office thinking, WOW what an incredible experience, but that was before Dr. Rooney and Seaport Dental. Such a clean and up to date facility with all the best equipment. They use digital x-rays which have 98% less radiation than traditional x-rays, and they are capable of then pulling all your xrays and any live images of your teeth up on a tv in front of you. Also they use a sonic cleaning tool which uses water (NO MORE NASTY METAL PICK!) and is so much more gentle. Plus they were very helpful and explained every single thing in detail so I knew exactly what I was looking at and why it was important. Plus free whitening gel and trays each visit (way more powerful than the crest strips). I found myself calling friends and family and telling them, drop everything you're doing and make an appointment at seaport dental. So far, nobody has been any less impressed. read more

I started seeing Dr. Rooney May 2011. The office is immaculate! It's up to date, technologically saavy and very clean! Appointment reminders and changes are made through email which is helpful. There is private parking at your convenience. All of the staff are extremely friendly! They have recently just moved their office to the downstairs level of the Seaport hotel and expanded their office. They even have Netflix available on the screens above the dental chairs! I have only seen Dr. Rooney and her staff for my Invisalign treatment but they are truly amazing. I am on my first refinement and I love how my teeth are coming along. Dr. Rooney and the staff schedule to see me every 6 weeks to see how my teeth are coming along and it gives me a chance to express any concerns or ask any questions. They are truly committed to perfecting my teeth to my satisfaction and I would recommend them to anyone looking into Invisalign. Also, they are very good with appointment changes. Sometimes I have to reschedule last minute and they are always able to accommodate me another time the same day. read more

If you live or work in Boston you should consider making Dr. Greenberg at Seaport Dental your dentist. The office is gorgeous. I know maybe that isn't the most important aspect of how you choose a dentist - but it certainly puts you at ease when your surroundings are at least pleasing! The equipment is state of the art for sure. X-rays are real time and show up on a TV screen within seconds and they take photos of your teeth as well. I learned a lot at my first appointment because they take time to show you what's what when it comes to your teeth/gums/cavities, etc. They are incredibly patient, kind, compassionate and informative so for someone with major dental anxiety - these qualities put me at ease. Dr. Greenberg has excellent bedside manner and exhibits all of the qualities I just listed. He is very pro-prevention... not just filling cavities... but seeing if with some special care you can reverse the cavity. I ended up needing 2 cavities filled and a crown... and I would go back again and again... that's how pleasant of an experience it was. Dr Rooney is great. She takes her time and explains everything but doesn't back up appointments and make you wait around. Her staff is very helpful and explains everything to you. She is very gentle and doesn't make you feel bad if you haven't been to the dentist for a while (like me :L) The office is brand new and very modern. Everything is clean and in good working order. Lets face it, i don't know many people who enjoy going to the dentist. This office is phenomenal. Its clean, the staff is extremely friendly and my appointments are usually very quick and painless. I've lived in several cities and have gone to many dentists. This is by far the best one I've been to. The equipment is state of the art, oddly i love looking at the pictures of my teeth that they take. In the past, i've had many cleanings that leave my mouth sore for days. I've never had that happen at this office. The hygienists do a thorough cleaning without the unnecessary pain. My only complaint would be the texts, emails and phone calls, they can be a bit excessive. I've never had any issues with billing or feeling overcharged. Definitely recommend this office! read more

Seaport Dental is the best!! I have been going for about 5 years now. Dr. Rooney is amazing. She is so personable, and good at making me at ease for my fear of the dentist. This sounds impossible, but I actually look forward to going to the dentist now that I go to Seaport Dental. Every time I go, it's a phenomenal experience. Everyone is unbelievably friendly, its a super cool atmosphere, and it's clean and modern. Not only is it fun and I feel like I'm with family when I'm in there, but the dental work is absolutely amazing as well. I got 2 front teeth knocked out, and Dr. Rooney fixed them to perfection. Like other reviewers who are now left with a bad taste in their mouths, literally and figuratively, take this as a warning to avoid this place at all costs. When it first opened, everyone in my office was raving about the high tech office space and overly friendly staff. However, after many costly visits and unnecessary dental work, you find out that their excessive flattery and seemingly friendly demeanor is their M.O. in gaining your trust and causing extensive damage to non-existent issues. There is a post on this forum regarding a crown procedure which mimics a lot of the same symptoms I have been experiencing as an ex-patient of theirs who had this done two years ago. As someone who has a relatively healthy history with dental hygiene - never had braces and have only had fillings here and there - I was shocked to hear that I needed to have a crown put in for a tooth that needed a filling. It was a small cavity that did not cause any pain and was not infected, so to this day, I'm not sure why a crown was the solution. However, I went forward with it any way, trusting their "medical opinion." I had to go back multiple times to have it checked out because of extreme sensitivity to cold and because of severe inflammation and swelling. I was told just to keep flossing as there are no visible issues / sign of infection from the Xrays. I suspect in the end that the pain is due to a weakened tooth being anchored by a fake crown that shouldn't be there in the first place. Too late now, seeing as they've already shaved a tooth that potentially only needed a filling. Funny how my X-rays before the crown procedure have magically disappeared read more

I go out of my way to come here because the office is nice, but today they gave me the shaft. After my last cleaning six months ago, they encouraged me to book my next cleaning... Fine. Last week I received an email asking me to confirm my appointment with 48 hours notice (while also reminding me of their $50 missed appointment fee). I replied and said I would be there. Today I leave work in the middle of the afternoon only to be told that since I didn't confirm, my appointment was rebooked and I'll have to wait an hour to be seen. I showed them the confirmation email I sent three days ago, which was met with a shrug... "Well for some reason we didn't get it." Ultimately, this is not a huge deal, but I don't appreciate taking an hour out of my work day and busing across town only to have to turn around again without so much as an apology. read more

Definitely leaving this practice. My first appointment was meh. The office itself is clean, modern and very welcoming. My hygienist was not great. She was not gentle and not really polite. Overall since the practice itself was nice and there were great reviews I decided to come back but see a different hygienist. I had a work conflict arise and called to change my appointment 46.5 hours versus 48 and they were going to charge me a $50 cancellation fee. REALLY? ? Yeah that is not customer service. I really liked their service while I was a patient there. They said, I had 5 cavities (allegedly they all were multiple surface cavities - more expensive) and gave me an estimate of close to 2K to fill them up with the more expensive (white) material. Later I had to change to a different clinic due to the fact that I changed insurance (...and seaport didn't accept it) and after they did x-rays they only found one cavity that was worth directing some attention to and the remaining cavities, were close to non existent and only needed to be observed. They clearly were trying to up the bill and rip me off and taking advantage of me not being able to double check/inspect whats going on in my mouth and verify without having to go and get a second opinion (having a stressful full-time job doesn't permit a lot of time off). Although I enjoyed going there and think the staff does a good service. I just don't like being ripped off for something that simply wasn't really there. For anyone considering going there, please take these reviews with a grain of salt: Seaport Dental's reviews anybody giving them a "great review" with a Starbucks" gift certificate. I will not be returning to Seaport Dental. I had to cancel an appointment back in January because I was sick with the flu. I called first thing in the morning to inform the office that I would not be able to make my appointment that day. A few weeks later, I received a bill for $50 because I failed to cancel my appointment 48 hours in advance. While I fully understand the usefulness of a cancellation policy, I felt very unappreciated as a patient that they would not allow an exception to the 48-hour rule for illness. This is a long overdue review. I first went to Dr. Rooney in 2012 and thought she was great. She said I had a couple of spots she wanted to watch, but no work was required at the time. Six months later, I had a cleaning and saw Dr. Greenberg, who told me I had 2-3 cavities that needed to be filled RIGHT AWAY and that he would decide how many to fill when he was doing the work. He also diagnosed this from the SAME x-rays that Dr. Rooney had seen from my first visit. His diagnosis was so quick and I felt pushed out the door before I had time to ask all my questions that I wanted to ask. I also have never had a cavity in my entire life, so I wanted to get a second opinion. I went to a new dentist and had new X-rays taken. I also told him about what Dr. Greenberg had said. This new dentist told me that they were not cavities and that he would be ABSOLUTELY CRAZY to try to fill them. Moreover, he said that if he attempted to fill the spots that Dr. Greenberg had identified, it would do much more damage to my teeth than good, because they were in between my teeth. I am really surprised to see all these 5 star reviews on here but if I will be the one break the news for you, let it be - DO NOT GO THERE. I went there in Nov, 2013. I chose this practice based on reviews here since my husband and I recently relocated to Boston. I did not ask for any dentist so they put me with Dr. Jane. I would say the staff and office are nice based on my first impression. They have my teeth cleaned and examined, all works fine. Then Dr. Jane bought up this molar issue I need to fix. She insisted a crown work since the tooth has a fairly big crack, although it was not hurting or preventing me from chewing normally at all at that point of time. I went through it in about 2 weeks including the crown preparation, putting on a temp crown and then permanent crown. Then the nightmare started, in a month's time, I could not bite on that tooth at all, because it is causing a shape pain when that tooth touches anything - food or my lower tooth. And because it's a molar, that side of my month is paralyzed - no food for a month hoping it will get better. Nothing happens in a month, I went back, she looked at it, said it might be too tall causing the biting pain. She trimmed it down (a lot more even though she did it multiple times in previous appointment) and 2 weeks passed, it is still hurting. And worse part is, it started to hurt even without biting anything. I am no expert but I have had crowns done somewhere else before and none of these trimming down 10+ times (meaning put the perm crown on, let me bite on some ink paper and then trim it down for more than 10 times!) and constant pain happened to me before. It's either they are sending their crown work a lousy lab or she is incapable. Besides this incident, I recently had a even worse experience. This is about their supporting staff. I had a semi-annual cleaning appointment with them in May but I had to travel abroad. So I call and email to cancel it. It all went fine till August - they sent me an email titled Dr. Rooney (one of the owner of the practice) and asking me if I want re-schedule since I missed last appointment. I replied within 2 days saying sure, I have *** days available, NOTHING from them for 2 weeks. I send another email asking "any update? I am 2 months late for my cleaning" - AGAIN NOTHING for 1 week. I sent my last email 2 weeks ago and STILL NOTHING. WHY DO YOU EVEN PRETEND THAT YOU CARE AND SEND OUT EMAILS WHILE YOU HAD NO INTENTION TO REPLY?! I am very lost at their practice philosophy and skills now if I had any doubt before, now I am convinced - THIS PRACTICE SHOULD NOT EXIST I will give zero start if I could and that is how I feel about Seaport Dental. TERRIBLE customer service!! I have been going to Seaport Dental for the past year or so, and was happy until recently. The dentists are great, the office is nice, and the location is very convenient. However, after receiving a bill that I had questions about (looked like I was billed twice for the same procedure and the second charge was twice as much as the first), I am actually leaving the practice because of how POORLY I was treated. As I said, I received a bill and had some questions so I called to discuss. The person I needed to speak with wasn't there, so I left a message. I never received a call back. A few weeks later, I received a second bill with a late fee. Instead of calling back, I sent an email asking that someone look into it and get back to me. Again, nothing. A few weeks later, I received another bill with an additional late charge. So I called again, and left another message. This time I explained that I had been trying to talk to someone for months and asked that somebody please get back to me to discuss. Later that day, I finally received an email response from the office manager which started, "I believe I did speak with you about this situation". She never apologized and didn't answer any of my questions. Giving her the benefit of the doubt (maybe she had me confused with someone else?) I emailed her back and explained that no, we had not discussed the situation, and again listed what my specific questions were. Needless to say, she completely ignored me, even after a follow up email. I then received an email reminder about an upcoming appointment. Due to my negative experience, I cancelled the appointment. I also explained that I would be leaving the practice and asked how I could go about obtaining my records. I wasn't surprised when my email was ignored. Long story short - I am APPAULED at how I was treated. I was never rude or demanding, but for some reason was completely disregarded. I had legitimate questions about a bill; questions that are still unanswered. I am just going to give up and the pay the bill. It's not worth the aggravation. I still have to deal with trying to get my records though...and need to find a new dentist. The entire situation is just so FRUSTRATING!! read more
