The instructors, dive guides, and retail employees are all super friendly and knowledgeable. They all love diving and it's great to just go in and talk shop with them from time to time. I've had several instructors teaching various courses and while personalities and teaching styles vary, they were all very professional and safety focused. They'll answer questions, give examples and advice...in general they'll do anything they can to make you a better diver. I've referred several people to them and pretty much everyone I've sent has come back reporting that they really enjoyed their experience also. Only downsides: 1) They don't service Scubapro equipment, so I have to take my regulator elsewhere 2) Closed Sundays If you're looking for a local dive shop, or if you've never dived and want to experience it, I highly recommend Sonoma Coast Divers!

Most wouldn't enjoy going up to Novato if they lived in the South Bay (aka me) but PDC made it extremely easy for me to get my study materials, plan a day to take the test, and do the accelerated pool course in one day to avoid driving back and forth. Shoutout to the store employees, management (Rick), and Mitch who was our main scuba diving instructor were all extremely professional and knew the ins and out of teaching a scuba diving noobie. We were so happy to find Bullfrog diving service. We had a few very old wood pilings in the lake…read morethat were broken off and could have been a hazard. They were used for a previous owner's pier but that structure was long gone. The old pilings remained in the lake and were deteriorating. Frank came with his dive gear and tools and cut each piling off at ground level as flush as possible. It's much safer now and the view out to the lake is so much cleaner with less obstruction. We are very happy with the results. He has all the tools to cut through wood or metal. We will definitely refer him to neighbors and friends if they need underwater help.
