I agreed to pay them their quoted price to pressure wash my patio and driveway, clean my solar panels and install mesh around those panels. I was very understanding when they showed up late, the pressure washer broke etc. I paid cash each time a job was completed. I paid $400 for the pressure washing and they did not do a thorough job. They washed around items on the patio without moving them. And the open areas were not cleaned as well as we had done ourselves the previous year. I was hoping a "professional" would do a better job. In the weeks since installing the mesh around the solar panels a portion of the mesh detached. I contacted them and the assured me they would stop by within a week to reattach this portion. They never came (it has been well over a month) and have completely stopped responding to phone calls and texts. I did nothing but agree to their quoted prices and pay in cash at the time of service. They don't stand behind their work. They have been very unprofessional by not responding to any of my contact attempts. I would not hire again.

They did so competently and handled a difficult situation very well when one of the frame's lug nuts proved to be stripped. Last summer we accepted David's proposal to paint our house mid-October this fall. He told us…read moreduring his initial assessment that we would need to cut away all bushes and trees a minimum of two feet from the house. While this was going to require a lot of work on our part, we went ahead, sawing off tree branches, cutting a mature vine to the ground, removing a trellis, etc. As the time drew near, he emailed us from out of the country to say that one of his crew had broken his hand and another was out on family leave for several months. Then last week he emailed us that he had driven by our house and that it appeared to him we were not ready; why he didn't stop to discuss this with us, we have no idea. Today we received an email from him reiterating the two-foot minimum clearance and that having to work around any plantings would take more time than he'd allowed in his proposal--and by the way, his dry rot repairman (one?) was out on leave for the next few months. So, if we wanted to move on to another contractor, he would "completely understand." Now our house outside is in shambles--shrubs tied back, mature plantings cut down, planters out in the yard, etc.--and the rainy season is soon upon us. David: if a job appears to be too involved or would take too much time, just say no in the first place!

Solidarity Painting painted the exterior of my house last month (I just haven't sat down to write…read morethis) and I could not be happier!!! They went above and beyond and my house looks fantastic. I would highly recommend them! Greg came out to give me a bid in early spring. I had a couple of ideas of the color combos I wanted to go with but Alice, Greg's wife, came out to my house to help me "nail down" my choices. Her experience and input was invaluable - never have I had painter- interior or exterior- have an in-house color person. She even painted huge swaths of paint on my house to help me choose! I ended up making the best choice and am so pleased. The day to start came a few months later (they are very busy), but that was fine with me. Greg called and gave me dates. Greg then came over on a Friday I believe - power washed the entire house. They started prep on Monday. I believe they were done by Thurs - Friday. Greg and his crew were professional, neat, courteous and just super nice guys. I could go on and on about all the little things they did - but again I would recommend them to anyone! I've gotten sooo many complements from friends and neighbors!

All vehicles were parked on 3 separate private properties, including a huge dump truck on my property. I went to speak to a supervisor to ask why the owners were not asked about the parking. The supervisor was very polite and said he thought they had, but he wasn't sure. He offered to move the dump truck on my property and I said that was not necessary, I just thought it would have been better to notify the neighbors and I about using the properties. Then a man in a red company car pulled about twenty yards onto my neighbor's property to park in the shade. I told him he should ask first. I later found out this was the owner's son. He was rude, told me "not to worry about it" and that he "was not moving any vehicles". I repeated that I wasn't asking him to move anything, only notify the owners. He then told me twice that he "could get a lot meaner" and that I should just leave him alone. He was rude, patronizing and a bit threatening. A grown man, 40ish. He also called me "dear" twice - not in a kind way at all. I then met the owner of the home and the company. He was professional, listened and apologized for his son. It is a shame when one rude and arrogant person can nearly ruin the image of a whole company.
