We arrived at around 1:45pm hoping to be able to book for a 2pm slot and thankfully, they were super accommodating. Once we signed our waivers, we paid the parasailing fee ($98pp after tax) and the additional photo fee which was $30. After we dropped off all of our belongings at the Reservation Area, we were directed to the beach to grab our life vests. With it being Mid June, the sand was very hot but once we got to the water, we were fine. What we were unaware of was the banana boat that we had to take to get to the parasailing boat. It was definitely a pleasant surprise but a fun experience nonetheless. Once we arrived to the parasailing boat, the guys were extremely helpful and informative. They hooked us up to the harnesses and gave us a quick rundown of the rules. Parasailing was, by far, one of the most breathtaking and invigorating experiences I've ever had! I absolutely loved it and it was quite peaceful. Unfortunately, my friend did get queasy after a while so we had to cut our ride a bit short but the guys were very nice and made sure to give my friend some water until the other couple finished their ride. The rides lasted maybe 8-10 mins. If you're planning to visit Myrtle Beach or even live in the area, definitely check out Downwind Sails Watersports. There are height and weight restrictions so definitely check out their site for all the details but the staff were wonderful and the parasailing was amazing!

A fun hour cruise along the creek in Murrells Inlet in search of a pirates treasure. There is face painting and options to purchase swords, spy glasses, hats, head scarfs and eye patches before leaving the dock. (Parents are informed they can grab a cold beverage from Dead Dog Salon bar to bring onboard.) There is no food or restrooms offered onboard so take care of that before you go. Once the little pirates are onboard and the cruise down the creek begins the kids are given instructions on talking like a pirate and their jobs onboard. There are water canons for blasting when Pirate Pete tries to steal the treasure, flags to hoist, and grobe for toasting. The boat never leaves site of land and mostly just floats around a small area of the creeks behind The Marsh Walk. No worries about being seasick or going into the ocean. A very fun and calm ride. We intended to do the sunset cruise but there wasn't enough tickets sold for that trip so we were changed the day before to a 2:30 trip. Every pirate leaves the ship with a handful of treasure to take home. As soon as we got back to the dock our grandson (7 yrs old) excitedly asked when we could go again! A fun family activity I recommended for all ages.

We were trying to find out which boat was the fastest. After eating and walking around the shops we came to the speed boats and as we were walking past it we said we couldn't pass this up. We got on the boat and we had so much fun we were the driver was going fast and hitting turns so fast the boyz tried to keep their hands in the air but couldn't. The ride seemed to be a short one as we were going so fast that the youngest one (4years) didn't want to get off.

I was a little skeptical initially due to the fact that the attendant walked us through how to put on our own harness. The fact that no one checked our harnesses to make sure they were secure enough scared me. We also went through ground rules and a walk through of how to hook and unhook yourself from the ropes. The attendant was really talking too fast, BUT we were allowed the opportunity to practice prior to beginning the actual course. Now the courses are CHALLENGING. It takes a lot of upper arm strength once you get to level 2. The courses are a mix between zip lining and actual ropes, which I thought was cool. My husband and I also attempted Level 3, but we had to turn around due to the difficulty. BEWARE, LEVEL 3 IS VERY DIFFICULT. If you complete it, then I commend you. There are water stations set up at each level for hydration, which was really nice. Staff was super friendly! You also have an opportunity to purchase pictures at the end. Highly recommend!
