Their pricing is normally the best around. The river is a lot of fun. Most of the time low stress, but have to be careful because there are some spots that it gets a little tight or shallow, so you definitely have to pay attention or know what you're doing. Booking online was quick and easy. We showed up a bit ahead of time and got right on the boat. On the boat were life jackets and ear protection - one of which was used. Our tour guide gave us a brief overview of where we'd go and what would happen and then we were off! The airboat did get loud - so some people chose to just the ear protection. We saw ospreys, gators, lots of cool trees, old rice fields, gators, and gators. Check out the map that Mike N posted to see where the tour went. It would definitely be dependent on where the tide is because water levels change drastically back there. This was a really cool tour and I'm really glad that we got the chance to do it!

Two hours for $400. You really can't beat that price since you usually pay $35-45 per person for a sunset cruise. The boat isn't very big but there is a middle BAR area where you can put ice and drinks with 8-10 "stools" surrounding it. Apparently you can "paddle" the boat yourself but our group was more interested in drinking. There is also a seating area the front of the boat where up to four people can sit. Captain John was FANTASTIC! He caught our vibe really quick and turned on some fun lights and DJ'd our party all the way from the docks, to the sound, all the way to the ocean (where we promptly turned around to come back!) We drank and danced and laughed for two whole hours. It was a slow easy ride and so much fun. There were several people in our party that had never done that before but everyone was ready to do it again. HIGHLY recommend!

The representative I spoke with told me they were running an end-of-season special for $79 per person. I specifically understood that price to apply throughout the day, regardless of the time we selected. On August 25, I called back ready to lock in our seats. The representative initially acknowledged the $79 per-person price and then asked what time I wanted. When I said around 12 or 1 PM, she suddenly told me the afternoon price was $89 per person. So I switched and asked for a morning time instead. Somehow, that was $89 per person too. That was enough for me to walk away from the reservation. When a customer calls one day, receives a specific advertised/special price, and calls back the very next day ready to book, the pricing shouldn't suddenly change depending on which representative answers the phone. Whether this was poor communication between employees or misleading pricing, it left a very bad impression. Be careful, confirm the total price before giving any payment information, and get the quoted price in writing if possible. I won't be booking with them. Good luck.

A fun hour cruise along the creek in Murrells Inlet in search of a pirates treasure. Fun…read moreentertainment for kids with Pirate Pootie who kept the kids busy and entertained with all the antics a pirate could get into and fun jokes only the parents "got". There is face painting and options to purchase swords, spy glasses, hats, head scarfs and eye patches before leaving the dock. (Parents are informed they can grab a cold beverage from Dead Dog Salon bar to bring onboard.) There is no food or restrooms offered onboard so take care of that before you go. Once the little pirates are onboard and the cruise down the creek begins the kids are given instructions on talking like a pirate and their jobs onboard. There are water canons for blasting when Pirate Pete tries to steal the treasure, flags to hoist, and grobe for toasting. The boat never leaves site of land and mostly just floats around a small area of the creeks behind The Marsh Walk. No worries about being seasick or going into the ocean. A very fun and calm ride. We intended to do the sunset cruise but there wasn't enough tickets sold for that trip so we were changed the day before to a 2:30 trip. Every pirate leaves the ship with a handful of treasure to take home. As soon as we got back to the dock our grandson (7 yrs old) excitedly asked when we could go again! A fun family activity I recommended for all ages.

This was my first experience on the Gulf Stream and his second in over 5yrs. We owe our entire experience to the professionalism, dedication, and fun had with the "Party time" boat: Captain Parker and Lucas. They truly made our day above and beyond from their commitment to our experience and wanting to make it memorable! We couldn't be more thankful to have been paired with these guys! We will certainly be back to party again as their expertise led to us catching an Atlantic Sailfish and a beautiful Blue Marlin that was every minute worthy of an hour+ fight. This was our first voyage out with the crew of the Crazy Sister. We arrived at the dock around 7am…read more, and we're the first ones there. At that point , the sun was just coming up over the horizon and was beautiful , bouncing off the water. I could see that the crew was working feverishly to make sure everything was prepared for the half day sea bass cruise , we were about to take. After retrieving our tickets from the upstairs gift shop, my son and I anxiously awaited the loading of the vessel. Once on the ship , we chose our location at the stern. I can see that the rods were already waiting and rigged up for the days festivities. It was delightful that the crew welcomed us on the vessel with smiles and a hearty welcome aboard! We were there told to just sit back and relax while they handled unsecuring lines as well as making sure all the passengers were accommodated. We then quickly went out of the harbor waving at everyone we passed. Once we left the harbor it was an hour long trip around fifteen to twenty miles into the blue horizon. When we arrived at our location, we were provided squid for bait. I brought some medium shrimp as well so as to provide a variety for the daily catch. Several seabass and blues were caught, with the seabasa being measured per the law. Most were found to be undersized so they were returned to grow for a future trip. When we started fishing we were offered entry into a raffle for a free future trip ($2) so I handed the mate my money and awaited the fate. Throughout the time , we would catch fish and several of the mates would be awesome and remove the fish from the hook as well as helping to untangle lines. At the end of the day , my son got the biggest fish so we were so excited for him. We tipped the crew and watched one of them even clean our fish for us. It was a great trip , and we look so forward to coming back. The crew did an amazing job making this memorable moment awesome for this dad and his son. We also enjoyed talking to crew member Lucas while the boat was being docked.
