Mark refused to refund fish gravel after it poisoned my fish. Reason refund was refused is because instead of emailing him about it (Mark) I opened a case on eBay for him to close straight away this obviously annoyed him which is why the refund was refused. He was very unprofessional and shouted using caps in his emails. The gravel was scrubbed /washed /rinsed numerous times and still to this day is leaking dye which is what poisoned the water and poisoned my fish. I am getting eBay involved via telephone ,writing to pay-pal and Trading standards about this. Mark and the store/website have bad reviews everywhere for anyone to see and view. This is turning out to be a nightmare but I will get it resolved as i have done nothing wrong. BEWARE AND KEEP CLEAR is the best advice I could give anyone.

We are honestly so grateful to Shauna, Andy, and the entire team for looking after Leo our…read more4-year-old Leopard Gecko. Leo was unwell for several weeks - not eating, not going to the toilet, very tired and just not himself. My mother found Shauna's pet shop online and contacted the page, from there they were so helpful giving us recommendations to try get Leo back eating and back to himself. When we had no luck in getting Leo to eat, they took Leo in to get a better look at the situation and to try get him to eat, they gave us regular updates text and picture/video. They went above and beyond for Leo when they took him in, he still wasn't eating for a few days, they ordered him in critical care food which he had for a couple days until he started eating locusts again. We have no doubt he got the best care he could've gotten because when we went to pick him up after his weeklong stay, he was a new gecko! Full of energy, back to his sassy self. They also helped us out with a new vivarium set up which he is so much happier in. If you are looking for great, affordable animal care this is the place!! Tucked away on Fishamble Street in the west end of Temple Bar, this business had an unassuming front. Until recently, the outside was just painted black and had a barely visible sign. But now, Reptile Haven stands out because of its new green lefty outside decor. The first time I went into this shop my jaw fell to the floor. The sales assistant had a snake dangling from his arm. The snake's teeth were actually clamped to his hand. He seemed rather unfazed by this experience and was trying to coerce the animal to loosen his grip. I guess for him it was just another day's work. Seriously though, the people who work here are professionals. They can offer you advice on what reptile to buy and how to care from them.

Can I buy a star ?? 5 stars is just not enough !!…read more Firstly the shop is amazing - like a cross between a mini zoo and a great pet supply shop. They have stuff for all sorts of animals and can give you some really specialised advice. The staff here are like a family - each one nicer then the last. They are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable that I continue to shop here even though I am now on the other side of the city. I bring my nephew a lot as he adores all animals and gets to see all sorts - last week they had some tiny new born bunnies but each time I visit there is something new and interesting (from talking parrots to meerkats) I have had two stand out experiences here over the last year - the first was when i stupidly lost my keys. I was a bit distracted as I had a 3 year old with me and when I got home couldn't find my keys anywhere. I called the shop and they ran off around the store to see if they could find them - unfortunately there was no sign of the keys but they told me if I hadn't found them by closing time to call back and they would go through the CCTV footage to see if I put them down anywhere. Really above and beyond ! (tuned out my nephew had hidden the keys in the vegetable basket) The second stand out experience was last month - my little sausage dog has developed an allergy. I messaged the shop through their Facebook page and they replied looking for my number. They called me and spent ages on the phone talking me through all the options I had to treat him. They had so much practical advice and treatments that had worked for similar dogs - the guy who called me sounded so genuinely concerned about the dog and really wanted to help me. They are just fantastic and if you have pets or even are just interested in animals and want a little look around this should be top of your list - TEN STARS
