we were camping near by and we needed a frying pan and a sauce pan be a use we left ours at home. I purchased the fry pan $30 and a sauce pan for $23 because its hard to cook food without them. I felt it was overpriced but had no choice. took off the tag and wasted it to use the very next day. garbage taken out everyday so tags are gone at this point. I noticed that the frying pan had a dent in it! I took it and the saucepan (I wanted a matching set) so planned to return both. I explained this to the manager who immediately stated that if the tag was removed even though I had the checkout receipt with me. she just shut me down with no alternative like a store credit, she claimed the manufacturer wouldn't take it back. I was shocked by her attitude and lack of willingness to compromise no solutions were offered. She should have offered to go back to the shelf and take a picture of the tag for those two items, print them attach them to items, and refund my money! just because you are the only game in town doesn't mean you should treat customers like crap! shame on you Seagren's! read more

No customer service did not know if they had a wood stain no effort to look for it. Drove 49 miles to Menards to purchase the stain. Last trip recommended the wrong product and gave no refund when the product was returned because it had been removed from the box. read more

Store manager is incompetent and rude. I will never go there again. I have to say I have never before experienced anything quite like it. I tried to return a defect air compressor, it appears to have a lose motor mount, under higher pressure it makes a clanking sound that drowns out all other noises. It made the clanking noise when I first turner it on. The store manager refused the return because in her expert opinion the sound is completely normal. The fact the she didn't even know that she needs to close the drain valve to build up pressure doesn't make believe that she ever used an air compressor in her live before, but she was certain the noise is normal. Even after I told her that coming here is a two hour round trip for me, she refused my request to fire up another compressor to compare the noise so that I could prove to her that this noise is not normal Not only were her decision incompetent, but her interaction was by far the rudest interaction I experienced in many years. read more

My wife and I shopped at Seagram's new store at 820 11th street Two Harbors (the former Shopko location) shortly after it opened this past Fall. We were greeted just inside the entrance by several employees who escorted us to the locations of the things we had on our shopping list. All were pleasant and knowledgeable about each item. Those at the checkout were also very pleasant and, despite the number of other customers, were able to handle the sales without causing any waiting. Seagrams has since been our first choice for a one-stop multi purchase of tools and house-hold items. We've also used its former location for repairs to our snow-throwers, lawn mowers, and similar items---as has our next door neighbor. read more
