We weren't drinking because of personal reasons and the woman in the green dress with dark hair was so rude to us. We actually wanted to leave. We ordered sodas, tea, appetizers, dessert and dinner. She threw together a table and had a terrible uninviting attitude after asking us if we were drinking. We had to ask for water and she brought tiny glasses and a very small pitcher of water. We poured our own water and sat and waited for our food. When our food came we had drank the little water we had and had to ask for more. She took forever to bring it us and again rude. It was unbelievable. We were so thirsty with the food we were eating. I wouldn't go here ever again. If she ran my restaurant and treated people like that she would be gone.

Having since finished our walk to Bath, we can say the Lygon Arms is not to be missed. While Sandra would not accept anything for her trouble, we've given a donation to the National Trust in her honor.
