I had travelled to Broadway by bus, and it was quite a long wait for the next one, so I ordered some food. The menu has quite a nice selection, but I went for a light bite - a tuna and red onion filling with melted cheese. I repositioned to one of the tables by the entrance, so I could admire some of the scenery. Unfortunately there are some power cables striding across some of the nearby fields, but you take the rough with the smooth. I did not have to wait long for my food, I was delighted with my choice. The ciabatta was served with a side salad and a generous portion of chips. The salad had a sweet dressing. Her kindness didn't stop there however. As we departed to walk the Cotswold Way, I accidentally left my jacket behind. Realizing it miles away, Sandra went above and beyond driving all the way to our next night's accomodations to personally bring it to me. Having since finished our walk to Bath, we can say the Lygon Arms is not to be missed. While Sandra would not accept anything for her trouble, we've given a donation to the National Trust in her honor.
