When my sisters and I found out back in '25 that our niece would be getting married here on June…read more27, '26, there was no question- we aunties were all in for a destination wedding. The excitement started wayyy before we packed our bags, but once I saw the venue my niece had chosen, I totally understood why. She and her husband live in Miami, so it seemed only right that they chose such a beautiful South Florida location. The moment we came to Vignette Gardens, we were speechless. The palm trees were all over the property, giving that lush greenery feel that instantly made the venue feel like an oasis. Every shaded corner seemed like a secret hideaway and picture-perfect backdrop. This is one of those places where nature did most of the talking. The wedding ceremony was beautifully arranged on the lawn, where rows of chairs faced a gorgeous floral arch under the palm trees. My niece's wedding was intimate and romantic that blended perfectly with the landscape. After the ceremony, guests made their way under the spacious reception tent. Honestly, that was the best place to be once that South Florida sun and humidity settled in. The tent offered tons of shade, a cool breeze from the fans and a comfortable space where everyone could relax while also celebrate and dance the night away without battling the sweltering heat. I honestly don't know every detail my niece selected for her wedding, but I do know one thing- her village showed up. Us four aunties, along with her mom (our oldest sister- yes, we're 5 sisters) were all hands on deck, each with our own assignment. Our oldest sister (her mom) took charge of putting together the centerpieces and other touches. My other two sisters were responsible for the seating display, inspired by a cool TikTok idea. They arranged an assortment of drinking glasses, each labeled with a guest's name and the corresponding table number. It wasn't just functional- it became part of the décor AND a keepsake. My twin sister worked on the ceremony arch, decorating it with lush florals and a flowing cream-colored fabric that gave the display a soft, organic, romantic feel. And I took charge of the welcome sign. I went to Lowe's and had a 20"x40" wooden board cut to size, then ordered a custom stencil with their names+ wedding date+etc from Etsy. Around the border, I placed faux greenery as a base before weaving in fresh flowers to give it that natural, organic touch. One thing that totally impressed me just as much as the venue itself was the awesome staff here. Every employee knew exactly what needed to be done and when to do it. But there was one woman- probably a manager(?) who truly stood out. She took charge with making sure every detail of my niece's and her husband's wedding came out smooth. She also made sure the entire team stayed on the same page. They worked like a well-oiled machine, as I always like to say. Everyone was in sync, and every transition happened like butter smooth. That's exactly what you hope for when choosing a wedding venue. After seeing it firsthand, I seriously believe Vignette Gardens could host just about any celebration- from anniversaries to birthdays, family reunions, baby showers or milestone events- just ask though. If you're looking for a venue that's both naturally beautiful and well-managed, Vignette G. is worth reaching out to inquire about what they offer.

We went for the Sade tribute, and enjoyed the performers very much! As a Sade fan, They were really great and did her well. The downside was we walked over to the bar to get a glass of wine or champagne and was told there were only a couple soda options, water, and a couple of canned mocktails. Which I ended up ordering for $10 and hated it. If I recall correctly it was a licensing issue. That should have been something that we knew in advance. You go to a concert and expect to have some libations. I'd try the venue again if in fact the bar situation is ironed out as I was told it would be.

Maybe pop anthropology? - Disney adults who miss Epcot!! Not recommended for: - People looking to get hammered (although that might happen). - People looking for a straight up party (the tour guides are professional actors & stay in character. You don't NEED to play along, but it makes it more fun. Interrupting the guides with party outbursts ruins the experience, the preparation, the memorization, & improvisation that is going on.) Caveat for tequila nerds. - This is an entertainment experience. And I think it's meant to highlight the diversity of tequila, especially for the non-initiated. This is not a tasting. Nor is it targeted to long time tequila connoisseurs. This is entry-level & fun. But it's also a marketing exercise for the Proximo Spirits brands. There is no discussion of detailed topics tequila connoisseurs focus on: -NOMs, -terroir, -additive free versus additive, -how commercial farming practices jeopardize sustainability, -the issues with celebrity brands, -farmer and worker rights, -independent distilleries, -how modern and / or industrial tequila production differs from traditional or artisanal production, -the difference from other agave spirits, -the regional differences, -the complicated history of tequila marketing in the United States. But, that's not bad. And honestly, if that were the focus of this experience, I'm sure it would detract from the experience & also from a wider appeal. The experience does a great job in showing the diversity in tequila as a spirit. And does a lot to elevate tequila and separate it from the non-sophisticated (but still existent) reputation as a party liquor. It's also an homage to Mexico's cultural traditions & intangible contributions. In a time where the public focus on Mexico isn't always favorable, this served as a welcome experience!

Today, the beach was full. No more chairs no more umbrellas. For such an expensive membership, it seems crazy. They mentioned they're ordering more chairs and umbrellas so I hope to see that in the near future. One thing about this place: the servers, waiters, beach staff and bartenders are spectacular and never fail with amazing service and will always accommodate. 10/10 for these amazing people. Now to the food, I ordered burrata ($22) and it is supposed to come with arugula - I think I got 2 little pieces. Don't get me wrong. Yummy. But whenever I go it feels like they're rationing food. Got tuna tartar last time and after a 1.5 hour wait (no problem I know they're busy) I got the smallest little portion. Menus in the past have been better so I do wish they had more options. Lastly, a few weeks ago they issued these letters stating kids of members (23+) must start paying their own membership. Not sure how this is gonna go. Many people in the key Biscayne area are dependents of their parents and for them to deny kids of members when they've been members for years and their parents pay an insane amount for the club seems crazy. I think it needs to be addressed. Overall, good club but seems to be getting too full and I feel like there should be a waitlist or something because the exclusivity this club had before is not there anymore
