I ended up getting mine at the slightly larger Portland location in the old port- something to keep in mind that each location may have a few different options to check out if you don't see what you want at this one. When ordering glasses it took about what they estimated time wise. The glasses are good quality glass lenses and are a bit more expensive than other spots we have been to over the years. so many reasons!…read more 1.glasses made incorrectly 2. when the technician helped me to choose glasses he failed to tell me that I picked frames too large so the field of vision was way off. 3. the second guy who discovered this told me to keep moving the practice card down until I could read it. I could see once the card was at my knees! He seemed to think that was my solution! Was I supposed to hold my computer at my knees to read the screen? 4. He then told me he'd get them re-done and to choose other frames (both for the sunglasses and regular glasses) which I did. He said they would be ready by 5:40 PM. I could not wait so he promised they would be mailed the next day (Oct 22). I live 1:45 minutes away. The glasses were not actually sent until today, October 26th. 5. When I called the store today to see when they were sent, the girl on the phone spoke to me in an inappropriate way, referring to me as "sweetheart." I am not in a personal intimate relationship with her. She therefore did not treat me with respect. What has happened to this store??? I have been getting my glasses there for over a decade and have never been so unhappy with the service and employees.

This place infuriates me…read more The last two/three times I've gone to them, had my contact exam, and ordered contacts, I've been very low on contacts and let them know this. I also haven't had a car. So, I pay an additional $9 on top of the crazy contact cost to have them shipped to me. Every single time they've told me to expect them to get to me in 4-5 business days. And every single time, it's two weeks later, I'm out of contacts, and I don't have them yet. The first time I called asking, they said whoops, they've been sitting here for a week and a half. They finally shipped them and I got them a couple days later. This time, it's been 15 days. I called at day 13 asking what was up. They put me on hold, then straight up lied to me and said they were out for delivery and would be there in a few hours. Two days later and they're nowhere to be found. No updates. I'm paying $9 for shipping and the contacts sit there for weeks until you literally call them and ask what's up. Now I'm out of contacts, and very frustrated. I know this is basic, but what the f***? These are my eyes! And these contacts cost an arm and a leg!!!! Do better plz. Sorry

They have a nice selection of frames. I prefer to have Kim do my eyeglass fittings since I haven't always had a good outcome with others there, but no one is perfect. Kim makes sure it is, though. Covid stuff: Limit is three customers, they are very close to the entrance to the mall and they open at 10:00 which is an hour before the other stores which I like so that I can go when the food court isn't yet filled with people.
