Great meats and bread , highly recommended. They actually make the sausages on house and the bread is fresh.

Silly me. I saw the word "sea" and assumed it was a fish store! Only later did I look this place up online and realized that the "bra" of their name referred to Brazil! In fact, they are a chain and the largest distributor in the US of Brazilian/Portuguese foods (per google). So we entered what turned out (to us) to be a Latin supermarket. Prices of produce were very high (even compared to Publix) on some items like bananas, but other select products were not. The same held true for "regular" foods... However, if you were seeking a certain hard to find "ethnic" product then price is no object. We were not here to shop -- mainly just to see what they have (and to get in some steps!) so we just browsed around the aisles. The store is not large and it was pretty empty on a midweek afternoon. They have a meat and fish department plus a bakery and pre-cooked items along with their fresh produce and packaged goods. We did find a couple things to buy (don't you always?). My husband loves passion fruit and they had maracuja tang packets. He bought a couple (it's very good, he told me today). And I could not resist getting a can of Brazilian hearts of palm. We probably won't be shopping here, but I'm glad we came to check them out. Now we know.

Seabra is part of a Latin supermarket chain founded in 1971 by a Portuguese immigrant Americo Nunes Seabra, hence the name. Seabra immigrated to the United States in 1967 with his wife and six children. While working as a butcher in Newark, NJ, he noticed there was a lack of ethnic grocery products so he opened a small market offering all of the food products he had grown up with. The store expanded to include items from all over Europe, Central America. and South America. The flagship store is still in Newark, home of one of the largest Brazilian and Portuguese communities in the United States while Seabra is now one of the largest distributors of Brazilian and Portuguese foods in the United States. According to the company website they "strive to provide the highest quality product, the freshest produce and the most variety of ethnic foods. Our priority is our customers and their satisfaction." Check out the website for recipes and circulars The Fish Catch next door recommended I come here to purchase alcohol since they don't have a liquor license. Excellent! Problem solved. Although Seabra had an interesting selection of Portuguese wines I grabbed a six pack of Smirnoff and walked around a bit to explore. I loved all of the large colorfully wrapped chocolate eggs they had hanging overhead throughout the store to celebrate Easter. This being Parkland, the store looks upscale and very clean. They have a drool worthy bakery serving my new favorite sweet, brigadeiro, fresh produce, meat counter with all kinds of beef and pork, deli, and a cafe serving hot prepared food for lunch and dinner. Most interesting to me where containers that were laid out for $9.99 labeled misc buffet. They seemed to be left over from lunch. I have no idea what was in them but they looked good. Check out was a breeze. Although I was unfamiliar with most of the items in here I will definitely be back to explore more. It was fun to discover this new to me supermarket and I love expanding my culinary horizons.

Not the largest or most dazzling location of The Fresh Market, but don't let the size fool you,…read morethis place delivers where it matters. For anyone who actually cooks it's impressively well-stocked with the kind of ingredients that elevate your cooking from good to fabulous. Case in point: the cherry selection alone deserves its own spotlight. We're talking Luxardo, Amarena, and not one, but three varieties of Bada Bing cherries, the kind of ingredient you'd expect to see in a mystery basket on Chopped. It's a foodie treasure hunt. This is a destination grocery for those who get excited about specialty ingredients and finishing touches. The kind of place where inspiration strikes as you walk the aisles. Service had a bit of a stutter in the past, but on this visit, the team felt present and back on their game. Bottom line: not the biggest or best Fresh Market, but absolutely fits the bill if you know what you're looking for or are on the hunt for something unusual.

Very poor customer service at this location…read more While waiting at the bistro, no one acknowledged us for several minutes. When a male employee finally approached, he didn't greet us and simply said, "You were next?" When I asked about the $5 pizza pie on Tuesdays, his response was "What about it?" He gave minimal answers, didn't take my name, and told me to come back in 10 minutes. His attitude made it clear he didn't want to be there. At the register, I realized I had left my money in the car and asked if the next customer could be charged so I wouldn't hold up the line. The cashier refused, saying a manager override was needed but the manager couldn't come out because they were busy in the office. When I mentioned the poor service at the bistro, I was told they were understaffed. Overall, the staff attitudes were unpleasant and unhelpful. This is disappointing, especially compared to the Pembroke Pines location, which is consistently friendly. I won't be returning to this location.

We just got four servings of the Italian meatballs which filled me up for lunch. Always appreciate a clean gender neutral bathroom with hardwood plank flooring and a nice tall plant to spruce up a subtle area. Kudos to management for keeping an eye out but noticed the "Guest Restroom Cleaning Checklist" on the back of the door was listed for February 2026 although strangely no check marks were presented for any cleaning times - maybe not policy anymore.

So this week when in the area, I wanted to stop by and check it out myself. They have a lot of produce. All very nicely arranged and marked clearly with price signs. Some items are quite reasonable -- especially those items in sale. Most are at a good price or comparable to your local market. They also have a section of ready to eat cooked food and other deli items in a cooler. I did get another container of chopped chicken liver as I'd really like the one we tried before. I liked the fact that some of the cooked foods were in small portions for 1 or 2 people. What I didn't expect was the shelves of international food items -- from British to Mexican. These shelves line one wall. The place isn't large, but it certainly will have most of the fruits and veggies you're looking for. My husband thought their jumbo eggs were a real bargain, too. I'm sure we will be back when next in the area.

This place is small but is well stocked with fresh fruits and veggies, precooked traditional meals, side dish items and foods from around the world, not to mention fresh Jumbo Eggs for $1.39. The inside is bright, clean and inviting, with friendly staff members to help you find items you may have passed over. They offer specials to enjoy and save some $$$, as well as bakery items from locals. As you get near the rear of the store you can smell some of the delicious aromas from items they are cooking up fresh. Prices are modest and better than the supermarket chains. If you are looking for some ready meals or are planning on cooking a meal yourself, here is where you will want to come to complete your shopping list.
