We've been unit owners here for years, and have had many, many complaints during that time. Chief among those is the attitude of the people in the office. There is zero warmth in the way they speak to you; they lack good communication skills, except to post signs all over to tell you what you can't do. If you arrive late on the weekend, they'll leave your key in the mailbox, but won't give you the internet password until business hours on Monday! Speaking of the internet, it works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. There is a hot tub and sauna in the common area, but it seems like every time we come off season, the hot tub is broken. We haven't seen mice or roaches, but we've seen evidence of them, and the last time we arrived at our condo for the week, they had sprayed an awful smelling chemical that required us to keep the sliding door open all evening in 50-degree weather. And, by the way, no courtesy extended to tell you that they've had to spray your condo. One time they resurfaced the outside hallways with a terrible smelling chemical that permeated our apartment. When we complained, the response was - open the windows. No offer to move us to a different floor. The rooms are outfitted with decades-old furniture and accessories. They used to have smart TVs but replaced them with "new" models that cannot stream, forcing us to buy a Roku stick. The rooms are cleaned well, I'll give them that. But the provided linens are very flimsy now; the kitchen supplies are old or missing; the toilets are ancient and often don't flush well, and the air vents probably have never been cleaned. The reason we keep coming back is the fabulous ocean view, as long as your units are on the 6th floor or above, which ours are. The beach is a few steps away and it's in a quiet part of town well north of the boardwalk. Yearly fees are modest - maybe that's why the infrastructure is so needy. It's all about location here - not much else.

RUN! infested with roaches. Couldn't wait to leave. Left early and lost money on this week vacation! Room 406 north was old, ratty, nasty and did I mention ROACH INFESTED!! A/C not working. Everything in until was old, worn and in tatters. NOT CLEAN. Mattress cover had blood stain. Building was not maintained properly and it's sad, because the proximity to the beach was the only positive thing I can say about it.

Upon arriving at sea time after a 4 hour drive,w all I wanted to do was get to a bathroom. Imagine my disappointment when there was no toilet paper on the spool. The TP is with the supplies. Really? You can't leave a roll of TP in the bathroom? There is HOT water &the room is clean, especially the bathroom. We needed maintenance on Labor day and they came within an hour. I just expected a more comfortable stay, SOME MODERN DAY CONVENIENCES. The door has a good old fashioned key. There are soooo many rules which they're certain to point out to you at check in. One rule is to strip the sheets b4 you leave....seriously? The beds are doubles. My husband & I haven't slept in a double bed for years. A queen is assumed in any place I've ever stayed. Internet is spotty at best making it impossible to work from a laptop.

Such a cute idea and a great time, I'd definitely come back!

We have been…read morevacationing at the Plaza for many years and this is the first time we've been totally disappointed in the unit that we were renting. Our main grievance was the mold in the bathroom baseboard and outside the bathroom in the hallway . The closet door in the hallway came off as we opened it . There are so many slats missing from the blinds in main bedroom on door to balcony that there may as well not be any on it. I complained to Rebecca in the Long and Foster office at the Plaza. I emailed Marlene (our rental agent) the second day there. to no avail. I also complained to Sandy in the office. I am sure these issues were advised by previously renters. Rebecca also confirmed that the cleaners "had not made it" to our room to clean it. The bathroom was disgusting with urine stains and hair on the rim. The free Wi-Fi was spotty at best It has soured our minds as to booking at the Plaza in the future or even with Long and Foster ever again.

We had to purchase a second car pass and that also was very easy to do. Our condo was very clean and decorated so nice! We had two bedrooms, one had two beds. Easy access to the beach and a pool were definitely major bonuses for us! There was a cute little convenient store, CJ's, that also served food. This was the second time I've stayed at the Quay and it does not disappoint! I recommend the Quay for your next Ocean City booking.

As soon as you walk into #1501 you can feel the strong sense of pride in ownership of this unit. The owner is meticulous and organized and has gone above and beyond to make sure his/her visitors are comfortable. The until is not completely updated but has been well maintained over the years. The furnishings and decorations in the unit are ones I would have chosen and we loved the shutters in the bedrooms. The beds were also very comfortable! We felt very safe and comfortable in #1501 with our children. There are child locks on all the cabinets and step stools available as well. You can tell the owner has thought through everything. Everything is labeled and there are even pictures to show where everything goes. I hope that one day I can be this organized! The owner includes internet access and has all the info posted on a bulletin board in the unit. There is also a welcome packet and extra supplies of random things if you forgot something. The only issues we had with the unit (and why I took off one star) is the microwave is old and didn't work well. There were instructions posted on top since it is old, and I did follow them. The kitchen and bathrooms could use updating but are functional. The water wasn't heating up in the second bathroom so we just used the master but the drain cover was not attached so we had to be careful with the kids. As for the Quay directly, all the staff was very friendly and welcoming to myself and my family. We did not get to use all the facilities so I cannot speak to those. The view and location of The Quay is perfect and we had no issues with parking. Overall we enjoyed our stay at The Quay #1501 and would definitely return if the opportunity arises. Thanks for letting us use your lovely home!

There was a hole in the all, loose tiles and evidence of mold and mildew all over. The water line to the ice maker leaked, leaving constant water all over our food in the refrigerator. On day 1 the electronic lock failed and wouldn't lock. Maintenance replaced it with a brand new lock out of the box. Day 2 the new lock failed and wouldn't unlock, locking us out. Fortunately it was during office hours and we were able to get a key to override the electronics and get in. Maintenance had to again replace part of the lock. Other more permanent residents told us the electronic locks are a constant source of problems. The oven and cooktop were very dirty, The unit has had no updates since what looks like 1980. Light bulbs were burned out all over and no replacements available. Light fixture in the bathroom was burnt and cracked so even if you wanted to replace the bulbs you probably couldn't. The unit does have 3 balconies with the oceanfront being a wrap around. Would have been nice if there had been more than 2 dilapidated wicker chairs available to sit on. No other balcony furniture was available. The A/C doesn't keep the common area cool but does make the master bedroom feel like a meat locker. I do not recommend anyone renting unit 801. I don't know if we will ever go back to Summer Beach again.

We recently stayed in 801 and while the views are AWESOME! There are three separate balcony's, all with an amazing view of the beach, downtown Ocean City and/or the Bay Side! This room has drawbacks, 801 has a lot of doors/windows so it gets and stays warm in the room all the time from the sun, despite the darkening curtains provided. The room is very 1980's and is run down from a lack of maintenance. The HVAC is so overwhelmed it never shuts off. 801 is one of the best views I've ever seen from a condo in OCMD, the building itself is in good shape and no elevators broke down and walkways were well maintained,so I would stay here again, but whoever owns 801 PLEASE update and maintain this unit better!
