Got to get away and come down to OCM for a few days. Stayed at Atlantis Condominium on the 13th floor with a beach front view. Upon entering the unit which took almost 30 minutes to figure out the door after using the key don't turn the knob just push the door open. The unit was nice I love the beach decor and how it was decorated. The furniture seemed new which was nice as well. We also had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which was nice. The master bedroom was huge, the other bedroom alittle small but cool also. The master bedroom had a bathroom with a tub. The other bedroom had a bathroom with a walk-in shower. Sounds a little backwards but not a big deal. There was also a Sunroom facing the beach where you could dine looking over at the waves rushing the beach, so serene and mesmerizing to watch. There also was a kitchen with a microwave, fridge, stove,coffee pot , toaster fully furnished with utensils and pots/pans. The kitchen was a little dated. The hardware on the cabinets need replacing they're beginning to rust, along with racks in the freezer as well. The unit also had a washing machine and dryer. Had a hard time getting the TVs going and connected to direct tv. The TVs are very cheap and the picture on the screen is moved or doesn't fit the tv it's alittle weird cause when your viewing the guide the left side of the picture is cut off. There were a few little issues management needs to address like one of the blinds is missing in my bedroom, one of the ceramic tiles is broken in the kitchen, the wood is chipped on the frame of the bottom of the bed. I did spray and disinfect the unit upon staying here. I did not see any bedbugs but something did bite my arm, maybe dust mites I'm not sure. But again the place appeared pretty clean and well maintained just a few small things need addressing. Oh one more thing it was kind of windy on some nights and all I could hear at night was whirling from the beach and maybe the height of the unit being on the 13th flr. There is 20 floors in the bldg. Parking was easy since it wasn't peak season yet, not warm enough to use the pool. We came in April .. overall it was a good time. read more

My friends and I stayed here last month. Everything about our condo was perfect. Our room was clean and had everything necessary so we didn't have to eat out every day/night. The view, how easy it was to access the pool and beach areas. The elevators were clean and in working order. There was one morning where the fire alarms were being tested, we were warned in advance and the day of we were up and down to the beach so it didn't phase us. It's good to know they check the important things. I'd say here again and recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay. read more

My family and I have stayed at the Atlantis the past several summers for vacation. This past year, I was informed by one of the employees that the hallway areas were clad in raw asbestos. Not only is the asbestos covering the walls and ceilings but, the asbestos is used as an air duct. Air is blown over the unencapsulated asbestos and vented into the hallways. The employee stated that the building has a Board member that has connections within the Maryland state government and "pulled strings" to get the state to ignore the issue. Needless to say, we won't be staying there again. read more

DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 1601. It's 80 degrees the thermostat Isn't working but her app says it is. My kids and my wife and I have been sweating since we arrived. The owner seems to be a cheap money hungry person with no regard to her renters. 0-10 DO NOT STAY HERE. read more

I hated it ! Staff is fake be careful they watching you like if you are a criminal, cameras everywhere give you pentagon like filling . Building smells like hospice , hole and cracks in the walls in apartment I stayed ,weird mold everywhere maybe that's where smell comes from . There is dog area in front of the building ,if you staying on the bottom floors with ocean view do not open windows because smell of dogs piss comes .. No gym or place to exercise ( I brought my own weights and etc couldn't use it ) read more

We decided to stay in Ocean City this year instead of Bethany Beach and we stumbled upon the Atlantis Condo on Home Away. The condo we rented was super clean and efficient. The elevators worked really well and the staff was very friendly. The pool was also very clean and was infrequently watched by a lifeguard. The windows in the condo were way too small, so we didn't really get to enjoy our beach facing view. Also the showers didn't have the best water stream. This building doesn't have a gym which is extremely unusual. We enjoyed our time in the Atlantis, but I am not sure I would rent in this building again. read more

We've stayed here several times in the past few years. The condo's we've rented have been reasonable priced and fairly well maintained. Not fancy, but hey we're at the beach we don't want fancy! And I love being beach front! The pool is very nice and clean.The parking is limited and only accomodates one car per unit unless you are lucky enough to get to purchase a pass for a second car based on availability. The staff there is friendly and helpful. The elevator waiting areas on each floor are enclosed so they are very hot. Ceiling fans or some A/C would nice. And the elevators themselves are hot and could use ventilation.Building fee based internet is terrible but it's a good excuse to unplug from electronic devices and relax. Overall, I really like this condominum building and will continue to rent here! read more

We got stuck in an elevator for over an hour. I think the worst part was no one even called us the call button didn't work I had to look up the hotel online called then they told me it would be 90 minutes for someone to come. So with a 7 year old and 12 year old we kept our cool. Never again!!! on our first night after a stressful day checking in and all that goes along with children never again!!!!!!!! My husband and I stayed in Unit 1502 on the right hand side. The Atlantis is a bit of an older building - it was being painted when we arrived - and the parking situation is a bit screwy because of how things are arranged there, but in all honesty, this was perfect for us. 1502 has a capacity to sleep 4 (one pull-out sofa bed and one queen Murphy bed), but I really think it would have been cramped if we'd had that many with us. For two people, however, it's ideal. My only complaint about the unit was that the kitchen light wasn't working properly, so it made cooking a bit of an issue. We turned on all of the lights, which helped. The unit was really stocked with everything we needed, however - it had a washer and dryer, a dishwasher, a microwave, a stove - even though we were supposed to (and did) bring our own linens, there were more than enough blankets and sheets to use in there, which was a pleasant surprise. The bathroom was really nice - the shower was probably one of the nicest I've ever experienced outside of home, which was great. TV was a smaller one (probably a 19 inch!) but it had a nice selection of cable channels, which my husband particularly enjoyed. There is no balcony in this unit, just a partial ocean view. This was fine with me, and even better for my husband, who has an extreme fear of heights. My husband didn't like this place as much simply because it was on the 15th floor - he had a real hard time walking back and forth because of the open air hallways going to and from the elevators. If it had been closer to the ground, he'd have a better opinion of it, but as for the condo itself, we have no problems. Staff was particularly nice and made checking in and out a breeze. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip. read more

We have stayed at the Atlantis for the past 17 years. Generally we stay in condo 808 but have stayed in several others in the Atlantis. Convenient to shopping centers, the beach and restaurants without being in the craziness of the boardwalk, which is about 15 minutes away. Assateague Island is an easy 30 minute drive from here. We have been greater by friendly staff and clean rooms every year. We always look forward to the next trip to OCMD and always choose to stay at the Atlantis as it feels like our second home. read more

This is our third trip to the Atlantis and second to unit 1706. It's ocean front with an enclosed balcony and we love it. A king in the master bedroom, 2 queens in the second bedroom and a pull out couch. It's the perfect size for a family / family + Inlaws (our setup). All of the furniture is NICE- not like what we've found at some other rentals. Beautiful pool, friendly staff, close to the beach. Perfect. read more

Despite no outside balconies, this property offers conscientious maintenance people; they replaced light bulbs and fixed the blinds. The oceanfront, ocean view accommodations are equipped with full kitchens & w/d, and one of the larger, heated swimming pools. Our lifeguards were on duty at least 8 hrs each day. The pool is 9am to 10pm. Next door is an ocean view restaurant, the Clarion's Horizon, which also has a seafood buffet, Sunday brunch, and nightly dancing. I so loved relaxing to the surf and having this as my hq, while exploring the region. I'm sure there are better locations, but the owner of has been very kind, and we appreciated the weekly housekeeping. Elevators were ok, three of them. Ample parking for complex though unit only comes with one vehicle permit. Additional permits are $10/nite. Never heard neighbors while in unit. Central to both Assateaque and Delaware beaches. But you have to get a unit which is well-maintained. read more

Using the hotel's parking lot is not guaranteed. They will insist the lot is too full (when there are empty spots) and tell you to use public parking someplace else. The room smelled funky. There also was stains on the bed. I don't want to think about what the stains were. The icing on the cake: In case of emergency, one of the stairways are locked. If you want a beach side tomb that smells of hangover, this is your place. May you rest in peace. read more

Have stayed here for last 2 years and will continue to do so in the future. Love the fact that you can park your car right next to the walkway to the beach, this makes for ease of getting beach chairs and toys from car on the way to beach. Elevators are a little slow at times. The two units we rented were a bit dated but clean. We only slept there and ate breakfast there so didn't really care how up dated they were. The staff is very friendly, ppl had dogs but you would never know it, they were quiet and walked them in the designated area and cleaned up after them. Pool always had a lifeguard until 5 or 6pm. Like the morning adult only swim also. Had a beautiful view of the ocean. Never had a problem with parking and we always purchase an extra space. We rented Unit #1806 through Caldwell Banker across the street. DO NOT EVER RENT THIS GROSS UNIT....WARNING...On their webpage, the unit looks fairly upgraded and I confirmed with Breezy that the unit was clean and updated and she said it was recently updated. Well, we arrived on August 15th for a 5 day stay. Upon entering the unit, it was dirty. There was a cigarette butt on the couch (disgusting) and these are advertised as NON SMOKING units. The stove was filthy with crumbs everywhere, the garbage pail was so dirty if you touched it you may have gotten a disease and the place was a dump. Other than a new stainless steel refrigerator, stove and microwave and $.39 square foot laminate, the unit is all original and gross. I immediately called CB and told them the unit was dirty and the smoke detectors had been missing. They told me they would call the maid to come and look. The cleaning lady came up and after looking around said the unit WAS NOT CLEANED and she would come back with her supplies. I started to move the beds around and there was a ton on sand on the floor, a dirty sock and a diaper. The AC was also on 78 degrees and the week we went it was over 100 degrees, so the unit felt like 125 degrees. We put the air down to 70 but it was so hot you could have died. The maid came back with 2 other people and cleaning equipment. The 3 of them looked like they hadn't cleaned themselves in 6 months and they would need a cleaning crew to help them. They looked like homeless druggies who were offered $5 an hour to clean. Needless to say, they cleaned up a little but when I showed them the piles of crap under the beds/couches they told me they were not allowed to move the furniture. WHO CLEANS AROUND FURNITURE? That is just disgusting. Needless to say, no matter how much cleaning could have been done, the place was just a dump. The furniture was so bad you couldn't even sit on the couch without sinking in the middle. It looked like furniture you see out the street for the trash that probably the homeless cleaning crew wouldn't have even taken.....The shower in one of the bathrooms is so dirty it is clogged and shoots water everywhere. There are cracks in the walls, mold in the bathrooms, and the owner has $2 curtains. The sun beats down on the windows all day long and no thermal backed curtains to keep the heat out or blinds on the windows. We had to hang comforters off the windows to try to keep out the heat because it was so hot it was relentless. After 3 days of constant AC set at 70, it finally got down to 72. We had to put my own clean sheets that I purchased all over the couches and beds because I would not use any of the filthy garbage that was in the unit and refused to sit on anything there. The toilet seats are all brown stained. This was like living in the ghetto for a week....certainly not they way we live and would never go to this dump again...Save yourself the money and do not go here, especially UNIT #1806. The owner should be tarred and feathered for being so cheap to not even replace the shower head and the toilet seats. And as for Coldwell banker who supposedly "checks" the units before they rent it...are you people BLIND???? This place is falling apart...how you have the nerve to rent this and list it as RECENTLY UPDATED is a complete LIE. This place has not been renovated since 1975....It is all original except for what I mentioned above...it is GROSS...DISGUSTING...I would never recommend anyone ever use your services. You are a bunch of liars who do not care because you get our money...Good riddance OCMD. read more
