    Dirty corners in bathroom

We stayed in Unit 1804. Never again. After getting all kinds of emails from Coldwell Banker about all the extra cleaning happening on high touch surfaces, we felt confident to try the Quay this year. The entry from the parking lot is a total turn off.. dirty walls and floors, beat up entry doors. Headed upstairs. Hallway carpet is dirty and probably 35 years old. Door handles, key plates and knobs looked like they hadn't been cleaned in 5 years. So much for extra attention to high touch surfaces. The unit itself was not what it appeared in pictures. VERY dated, lavender stained laminate countertop, stained white sink, dried food in the sink and countertops and same on bedroom dresser top. We used almost a whole roll of paper towels cleaning I'm the first hour of arrival. Dust everywhere as if it was not cleaned at all before our arrival. Couch was new and leather, so was clean. Chair in the living room was wicker and super dirty (nasty stains) as was the kitchen stool. Bathroom tile was moldy and dirty. Game room was musty and stuffy, multiple games took our money without playing the game. Management office could care less. Told us to call the number on the machine. No response; never got our money back. Pool was fine but had zero shade and had reduced hours per COVID, but after arriving in the afternoon to swim, we were there 20 minutes and they did a chemical test, then announced that the pool wouldn't be open rest of the day. Super annoying when you pay extra for a place with a pool. Stay elsewhere.

We recently stayed in unity 2509 in the Quay, and paid $3500 for 1 week. our friends were in 2503 and it was BEAUTIFUL, and the price was not much different. 2509 is a total dump. Not only is it (and everything in it) extremely old, it is FILTHY and in terrible condition. The carpet is extremely stained. Outlets don't work and several were hanging out of the wall. The bathrooms are FILTHY. The furniture is all falling apart and stained. The plaster on the walls is all cracked and the paint is peeling. The only 2 nice things about this unit are the view (amazing) and the counter top in the kitchen. Whoever set the price for this unit should be ashamed of themselves. We had to cover all of the furniture with sheets, and the dining room table was so filthy, I wouldn't let my kids sit there! Do not waste your money!!!

You can pick from 3 different drinks to put in the flamingo. Our bartender was nice and he was funny. The flamingos only cost $7 or $9 depending on which drink you got. Such a cute idea and a great time, I'd definitely come back!

We have been…read morevacationing at the Plaza for many years and this is the first time we've been totally disappointed in the unit that we were renting. Our main grievance was the mold in the bathroom baseboard and outside the bathroom in the hallway . The closet door in the hallway came off as we opened it . There are so many slats missing from the blinds in main bedroom on door to balcony that there may as well not be any on it. I complained to Rebecca in the Long and Foster office at the Plaza. I emailed Marlene (our rental agent) the second day there. to no avail. I also complained to Sandy in the office. I am sure these issues were advised by previously renters. Rebecca also confirmed that the cleaners "had not made it" to our room to clean it. The bathroom was disgusting with urine stains and hair on the rim. The free Wi-Fi was spotty at best It has soured our minds as to booking at the Plaza in the future or even with Long and Foster ever again.

There was a hole in the all, loose tiles and evidence of mold and mildew all over. The water line to the ice maker leaked, leaving constant water all over our food in the refrigerator. On day 1 the electronic lock failed and wouldn't lock. Maintenance replaced it with a brand new lock out of the box. Day 2 the new lock failed and wouldn't unlock, locking us out. Fortunately it was during office hours and we were able to get a key to override the electronics and get in. Maintenance had to again replace part of the lock. Other more permanent residents told us the electronic locks are a constant source of problems. The oven and cooktop were very dirty, The unit has had no updates since what looks like 1980. Light bulbs were burned out all over and no replacements available. Light fixture in the bathroom was burnt and cracked so even if you wanted to replace the bulbs you probably couldn't. The unit does have 3 balconies with the oceanfront being a wrap around. Would have been nice if there had been more than 2 dilapidated wicker chairs available to sit on. No other balcony furniture was available. The A/C doesn't keep the common area cool but does make the master bedroom feel like a meat locker. I do not recommend anyone renting unit 801. I don't know if we will ever go back to Summer Beach again.

We recently stayed in 801 and while the views are AWESOME! There are three separate balcony's, all with an amazing view of the beach, downtown Ocean City and/or the Bay Side! This room has drawbacks, 801 has a lot of doors/windows so it gets and stays warm in the room all the time from the sun, despite the darkening curtains provided. The room is very 1980's and is run down from a lack of maintenance. The HVAC is so overwhelmed it never shuts off. 801 is one of the best views I've ever seen from a condo in OCMD, the building itself is in good shape and no elevators broke down and walkways were well maintained,so I would stay here again, but whoever owns 801 PLEASE update and maintain this unit better!
