I actually think this place is really neat. Some areas inside the sea life. There is a room when you walk in, all fish are swimming around, pretty cool. It got other area you can literally walk under the fishes. The Sea Life itself wasn't that big though. I went to Aquadom also, it's a big lift inside giant fish tank, surrounded by different fishes, pretty amazing place, feel like the fish are actually flying instead of swimming. I wonder, what the fish are thinking. The whole lift experience is not really long though. The souvenir shop is pretty cool, don't miss it. Well, the ticket is quite expensive though. That's the low point of this, I got my tickets on Groupon, it was bit cheaper. My suggestion try to get the ticket online before you go, usually there are some promotions somewhere. read more

There are lots of lovely fish to see here, but I feel that at 16.95 euros for a single visit it is overpriced. If you are a local though the Jahreskart is good value, costing less than 2 full price visits. The highlight for me was the lift up the centre of this Fishtank, although it made me want to stay in the hotel in which this final exhibit is found, more than anything else. Sea Life - Aquariums Near Me - Berlin, BE

This place was set up well. Lots of signs in English and German. You walk through different areas and it shows what types of things would live in nearby rivers, seas, ocean etc. They had a station about pollution and an area where the kids could look at things under microscopes that were on large screen instead of looking through the little hole. It was a little run-down, but I'm sure it's hard to maintain a lot of that type of stuff with tons of kids coming through. At the end there is a maze/mirror type of thing that you have to walk through. There isn't really a warning for this. You can kind of see you are walking into something, but you don't know the extent. This was fine for us, but there was a child that had autism or some other similar disorder that had gotten very upset, walked into a wall and gashed his head open near his eye. He was screaming, his parents were trying to calm him down and there didn't seem to be any way to get around this without going through it. No staff came to assist and when they finally made it through and approached the man in the souvenir shop he just shrugged and offered a band aid. My kids were pretty upset seeing this whole thing and it was pretty terrible that no one that worked there did anything or even seemed to notice. The elevator inside the aquarium was neat. My 3 year old was scared at first, but everyone ended up liking it. This was pretty costly to get in, but it was a rainy day and the history museum was closed so it's what we did. read more

The only interesting thing is the aqua Dom. But only in an architectural point of view. But they will change it soon and add more plants and different fishes. Nevertheless I recommend to buy the cheaper online ticket. But it is still expensive for what you are getting. VIP Ticket can not be used at aqua Dom! So it is not really useful. Sealife is very small and dark. I thought I can see here more. So I only recommend a visit when it is raining. If so, be there at 10, there are less people. read more

Being a berliner, this place looks like it is only made for the sole reason of attracting tourists, and their cash money . The prices are exaggerated, nevertheless, getting a 1 year ticket for 7 locations, is very reasonable (around 80 EUROS). You can visit other locations with it, like Madame Tousaut ( Do not laugh, if i have spelt this wrong ;) ), Lego Discovery center and other bigger amusement parcs in west germany. The variation of the fish species is way less than in the Aquarium at the Bahnhof Zoo area, but the decoration is nicer in many cases. You can walk through tunnels, where fish is swimming over your head.....not bad. read more

For a tourist, this is a you have to do it! on your list, if you have kids. If you dont have time in Berlin this is a no go. It takes often over 1 hour just to get in it if you happen to be there in the wrong time- and waiting for to get a ticket isOUTSIDE!!! And it is really expensive in eyes of many people here in Berlin. Yet what you really have to see is the aquadom which is partof the sealifes tour at the end. you can watch it if you go to Andys Diner Restaurant, its directly next to it. yet to be part of the journey in the lift, you have to get a sealife ticket. the sea life is not a better aquarium and if you are from the states you have seen something better for sure. But it is fun anyways to go the route for kids because some fishes and crabs you are allowed to touch and the students who tell you about the story try hard to lighten up the atmosphere. sometimes you wonder, is this really all ? other times you think- why does it take so long ? Hungry at the end you are for sure-and the loss of much money is guaranteed. So you wonder ? Was this really worth it ? read more

The Aqua dom is a really unusual attraction. See the whole thing on Youtube (people have filmed it) and judge for yourself whether it's worth the 17E or the 12E if you are staying at the hotel. We didn't think it was worth it. We had seen the videos (on the construction of the tank, and on the ride through the tank) and we didn't feel we needed to put out the cash. We saw the fish every time we went up to our room- elevators up to the rooms are glass, and you can look at the 82 foot high circular tank and watch the fish from the elevator. You can also see the fish from the bar downstairs. We live near Monterey Bay Aquarium, and have been there many times- so this didn't seem all that great. I think it might be a real treat for kids, though. So if you have children, check out the Youtube, and see if your kids would love it. read more

It costs 19€ for adults and is so small that you only spend 20min inside. Nothing special, small aquarium and the fish aren't spectacular. I would not recommend​ it to anybody! Totally overpriced and there are better things to do in Berlin. read more

A nice place for a day out, very interesting and fun. We did not go to the Aquadom, as the queues were ridiculous. The aquadom is a cylindric aquarium with a lift operating in the middle, which is located at the closeby hotel. It looked great. read more

My partner and I like aquariums so we thought we'd give this a go but this is definitely more geared towards children. The tanks and 'viewing' level are quite low to the floor (for kids) at least for the first 3/4 of the exhibit. Also most of the factual info and interactive activities are only in German. You may have to buy a program (€4) at the start for english info. The cylindrical tanks was not what I was expecting, it's a ride in an elevator through the centre of the tank. Lasts about 5min and then you have to get off. Felt a bit like a tourist trap. Shame. read more
