This was my first chiropractic visit and I will definitely continue to see Dr. Venessa! The space is beautiful and clean. The person working reception was welcoming, knowledgeable and seemed happy to answer my questions. I was able to complete my paperwork before coming in so there was no wait. Dr. Venessa asked me some questions and did a sort of assessment before my adjustment. She kept me informed of what she would be doing and has a nice bedside manner so nothing seemed awkward. She finished my adjustment and I checked out. All in all I had a great experience in the office but what happened after was even better- my energy increased like crazy! At first I didn't even consider it might have been from my adjustment. I was just talking with my husband when he asked if I thought it may have been from my chiro appointment so I googled it and apparently that's common! I have gone to quite a few different chiropractors over the years and Dr.V is by far my favorite. My pain went down significantly after only my first visit. This is not the type of office you walk into where you get a couple quick cracks of the spine and are sent on your way. Here you get a full treatment plan designed specifically for your individual issues. It is also a great note that there is x-ray available here so you can really see what's going on! I have been seeing Dr. Vanessa since my car accident in August 2021. She was proactive ordering an MRI after my third visit and I was tested the next week. She has been instrumental in providing me many stretches to do at home besides my therapy with her and her team. It has helped me tremendously manage my pain in the evening when I am home. She was also okay for me to find my own pain doctor close to home. She listens to my concerns and re-evaluates me every month and modifies my treatment plan accordingly. She goes over everything from the cause of the pain to what you can do to prevent it. She did not only tell me what exercise to do, she shows me how to do it properly. I can't believe the range of motion I gained plus the freedom of pain I received by visiting Dr. Vanessa at Sea Lark chiropractic. I picked up 15 yards off the tee with the added range of motion and I can keep my back down through impact preventing me from blocking iron shots to the right. I also feel like I'm an inch taller.
