This shop is a new addition, in fact just a year old, yet the company has more than 250 years' heritage in the fishing industry here in Brighton. You can even see the boats behind the shop that land fish to the market within hours of capture, ensuring that fish and shellfish are of the highest quality and freshness. Some of the choices on offer include Dover Sole, Plaice, Lemon Sole, Brill, Turbot, Cod, Squid, Cuttle Fish, Bream, Red Mullet, Sea Bass and Crab, Lobster, Mussels, Clams, Oysters and Scallops. The owner is a really sweet lady, who will happily have a little chat and offer the odd cooking tip. You will also find a lot of adverts on the shop front for Oriental cooking lessons, which would be a good way to get more out the shop.
