This is a small, inevitably crowded restaurant so have patience and get there early if you can. That said, the food could hardly be faulted - it's better than many a so-called Thai restaurant in East Sussex. There are photos to show their style. We enjoyed the food, and the wine from next door (Erawan is a BYO restaurant), not to mention its proximity to Lewes railway station. Two of us ate Thai duck, Vegetable Tempura, Red Thai Curry and Pad Thai, in no particular order (see the photos). The main downside was two 'jack-in-a-box' women crowding us by non-step texting, even whilst eating, and leaping up every few minutes for a confab in the corridor, plus a slightly disruptive but pleasant party on our other side moving between two tables. We'll be back soon. read more
