I won't make you guess, I'm incredibly pleased to have found Heather. To start, it's not signed from the outside. But if you park and walk to the address, you'll see a sign immediately on the window directing you upstairs, above the salon. (There is an assist device for anyone who may need assistance or is unable to climb stairs). The space is really pretty. Simple and well decorated and soothing from every angle. The entry way, the reception area and the massage room all flow nicely. Heather was waiting at the desk and greeted me warmly as soon as I entered. She's great at making you feel welcome immediately. Her questionnaire is only one page (I strongly dislike the places that think they need 25 sheets of your medical information, elementary school grades, diagrams of your first car and a list of all US Vice Presidents since the 1920's) and covers the important stuff without being intrusive. My massage was catered to me and what I had asked. Heather did not speak after we began except to coach breathing or ask about pressure when working out a painful knot. My 90 minute massage was 90 minutes of hands on time, not 90 mins from entry to exit. She even spent a few minutes over trying to work one trouble spot all the way through. The table was comfortable and the sheets were clean and smelled great. She left me with a hot towel and met me in the reception area with a big glass of icy water. Despite her recommendation that I come back next month, I made an appointment for two weeks from today. She's too good to wait another month for. Like you should, I feel taller, looser and totally comfortable. Heather is amazing.

Shanda has built a nice business and was extremely professional and welcoming. I show up to the spa and once I get inside she asks how far along I am and says I will not be able to get a massage. I ask her why no one called me because I had to drive 30 minutes to get there and she said she called but didn't leave a voicemail "because that doesn't work out for them". I left mad and asked for the owner to call and the owner proceeds to tell me how I should have googled at what week is was appropriate and she was sorry that I didn't like how her customer service manager responded. She was rude and condescending and refused to address the customer service issue I called about. She made the entire situation my problem because I shouldn't have made the appointment but didn't want to acknowledge the customer service and communication break down. The website should be updated to reflect what services and to whom they are offered, the staff should learn how to handle customers and the owner needs to take responsibility and accountability for customer service concerns. I've never had such a terrible customer service interaction let alone from an owner that refused to even listen and address my issue. I also looked at legitimate local spa websites and they clearly define who, when and how long pregnancy massages should be.

I felt like she listened to my needs and put in full effort for the whole massage. She was very friendly, too. Cons: it is near a road where you can hear traffic a bit. She answered a phone call right at the end of the massage which was a little bit unusual... but given it was at the end and she didn't short me any time, I wasn't concerned about it. Overall- I will 100% go back. The price for the quality is well worth it. Of note- it feels a bit abnormal because the so is in a house, but once inside, it was a great experience.
