You pay per the hour, it's just so much fun. You can bring your own food in if you're wanting to eat while you do it, otherwise you can buy drink and snacks there. Fun for the whole family and for date nights!! Vance was amazing! He was so helpful helping us get started and full of enthusiasm. I will absolutely return, and so should you!! read more

A great date spot! The location is small but serves its purpose. Cans of beer available but no food. The employee working, Madison, provided amazing customer service - she first taught my wife and I the basics, let us swing away, and came back to provide a few tips to improve our experience. Overall a 10/10 read more

Went here today with my family to celebrate boyfriend's birthday. Vance was so kind to us and very thorough with his explanations on how to throw both under and overhand as well as how to throw the various items (knife, axe, some club(?), etc.). There was even a birthday sword to throw! The place was chill, had great music (apparently we have the same playlist), and although we didn't drink, their drink menu looked great too. We've been to Axe Kickers in Seattle before but this place has a better vibe and we'll definitely be coming back here instead. read more

Sea Axe - A bullseye by my 60 year old dad because of course he's a natural - Axe Throwing Near Me - Auburn, Washington

This place is amazing! We had so much fun, and it is well worth the drive to Auburn! This is way better than just throwing your axe at a regular painted bullseye board. They've got some projector thing set up so you can play tic-tac-toe, hit zombies, even take out frustrations on a Christmas tree, and more. You also get to input your names in the computer for easy score keeping, kind of like bowling. I recommend ace pun names for extra ace throwy spirit. Owner(?)/host guy was wonderful, friendly, helpful, and also very easy on the eyes. :) He clearly enjoys what he does and he will circle around and help if you need. He was closing up as we left and my only regret is not asking him to come to dinner with us! Highly recommend! Way better than the average axe throwing place. read more

What a cool, fun experience. I've been to another axe throwing location so this wasn't my first time at the rodeo. However, this was the best experience I've had doing this. This facility is so neat from the moment you walk in to playing. I LOVE that you can play so many different types of games with the axe throwing! Our favorite was 21 and tic tak toe. The worker provided detailed instructions on how to throw and play games. My friend I was with had a hard time getting it down, but the worker was super nice and kept giving her different tips, tricks and alternative ways to throw the axe. He was very nice and helpful. They actually have parking near by too. Such a fun experience. Can't wait to go back! read more

I came across Sea Axe on Groupon. So glad that I decided to give it a try. The owner Vance is really friendly and the staff (Will O.) was amazing and patient in teaching us different ways of throwing different axes and such. Overall great experience if you're looking to do something fun and different! We had an axe-cellent time! :) read more

Went there last weekend with a few friends and we had a great time! The place was super easy to find, the atmosphere was great. This is by far the best Axe throwing place I've ever been to. Lei and the owner dude were so nice and helpful. We are definitely coming back soon i highly recommend this place! read more

Came here a couple weekends ago with some friends and it was all of our first time axe throwing. Sea Axe set the bars high. We had so much fun with all the different games you could play. My aim was all over the place so I liked having the different kinds of targets to hit and still score decently. The attendant monitored our first few throws and gave us great tips (and different sized axes) to improve our axe rotation to get it to stick. Aside from the actual axe throwing, their side games (giant jenga, cornhole, etc.) and photo wall were a lot of fun while we waited for our lane to become available. The check-in process was a breeze--we signed our waivers online before showing up. And they let us bring in outside food. Plenty of parking outside. My friends and I are hooked. We will be back, especially knowing we don't have to drive all the way to the city to throw axes. read more

10 out of 10 sooo much fun! I honestly thought it sounded interesting but not a ton of fun but wow was I wrong! I thought we would just be throwing them at a plain target cork board but no!!! They have several game boards that illuminate the cork board from tic tac to killing zombies or playing cards or regular targets. The host Vance was literally amazing!! He was very pleasant, outgoing and gave us tons of cool axes in addition to the traditional ones as we played. I liked that they also had a knife which I excelled at if I do say so myself . I will for sure be going back for a ladies night sooner than later. read more

This is my first time coming here. I don't usually go out because I have kids when we got there the worker willo made the scenery comfortable and fun. We came as an after work group. None of us had thrown before. Andy gave great instructions. I am pretty sure I'm going to die in a zombie apocalypse as I cannot throw an ace to save my life. We will definitely be coming back. read more

We decided to try out this ax throwing business. Met up with another group and enjoyed our time. I was impressed with the way it is set up being that you can change what type of target you have. Thought that was pretty cool. My husband got good instructions before starting. Really liked the different items you could try throwing. Our granddaughter was in the lane next to us and she too had a good time. We will return again read more

I take the grandkids and we always have a blast. It is a lot of fun, for both young an old. The staff is friendly, and helpful.

WHAT THEY DO WELL Upon entry into the facility, we were greeted by friendly staff members, checked in, and asked if we wanted to purchase any beverages. Right at our start time, we were taken to our lane and given some safety instructions and a quick HOW-TO on both axe throwing and the use of the computer interface used to select games and score. The staff were very friendly and the facility is relatively clean. ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT The 10 or so games available did not have any instructions or rules, so it left us on our own to figure it out, or wait for staff and ask. Staff members were available, friendly, and willing to help which was nice. The website is very poorly executed. There is a lack of navigation controls, and I was not able to reserve a lane without calling since I was using a previously purchased coupon code. Pricing is a complete absurd. $30 per person per hour, even though you are only using one lane. If I were to go back with 4 people, I would reserve 4 lanes which would cost the same as a single lane. (Then I'd only use one of them ;) Aside from axe throwing, the place has little to offer. There is no food available, although they will let you bring in your own. It feels like you're in someone's garage where they built a few cages and tossed in a couple of old school arcade games. For being located in the armpit of Auburn, they are charging Downtown Bellevue prices. CONCLUSION Overall, the experience was fun. Due to the lack of food or a bar, and the ridiculous pricing schedule, I doubt I will do it again. For that kind of money, TOP GOLF, Blacklight Bowling, and Roller Skating have much more to offer. If it were $30 per lane per hour instead of $30 per person, I would have given SEA AXE 4 stars, but for price vs. value, 3 stars is really pushing it. UPDATE: (3/5/23) The owner responded below which I appreciate. I still disagree with the pricing model. This place does have some potential. I will check back in a few months to see what improvements have been made and will look forward to food and beverages. I'd love to see your dream leave the training wheel behind and step up to a legit venue worthy of $30/hour per person. read more

This was a great place for a date night with my wife. Would definitely recommend as a place to go to have some fun. It was our first time throwing axe's and so it took a little bit to adjust. Matt and Vance gave us great instructions/tutorials on how to properly throw the axe. The place has safety cages per rental and a door that you have to close when someone is getting ready to throw. Inviting place when we walked in. They also have drinks (beers and soda). They have many games you can play and each one has different difficulties for players of every level. We did one hour game and that was long enough for us. We will definitely be going back for other events with each other out with family. Try it out, you will love it. read more

Something new to try... we bought a Groupon, which I know isn't the best for small businesses... Groupon's cut of the profit can be 50%.... But the attended was super nice and explained everything very well. I like the different games you can play, it's not just a bullseye. You can hack zombies or Christmas ornaments and presents. It was a fun experience. Thank you! read more

Had a blast here. Took my son here with some of his friends for his birthday. They're all very competitive. They all had a great time. It's $30/person, so it can get pretty spends if you're in a big group. $30/person gets you an hour of axe throwing. I was surprised they don't have pizza or anything to eat, but that was just my assumption they would have food. You're more than welcome to bring your own food in. Staff was great!!! read more

Vance is the owner and he is truly one of a kind in the category of gentleman. He truly cares about every single customers experience. He makes sure every person who walks through the doors of his business feels not only cared for but competent. The space is very clean and safe which checks every box for me. We had such a fun time. My only regret is booking one hour instead of two because it went by so fast. We will absolutely be returning. Can't say enough good things about this small business. You need to check it out! read more

My partner suggested axe throwing for his turn on picking our weekly night out. I was a bit skeptical since most of the places I've seen just have the traditional target and I wasn't sure that would be entertaining for more than a couple throws, but this place has so many different interactive games to choose from. The staff(I think maybe owners?) were super nice and helpful, giving us tips since we weren't great at the start. They explained how to use the computer part really well, and the whole place had a pleasant atmosphere. Our hour passed quickly and I'd wished we had more time to stay, will definitely be back! read more

We really enjoyed our night at Sea Axe. This was our second time going for axe throwing so we knew what to expect. Initially we were little skeptical if the projection would make it cheesy but actually it made it for fun. I think our favorite was "21" which was more challenging. Vance was really nice and helpful with any questions. We can't wait to go there again with other friends. Ps: no liquor license as per WA state law. Hopefully they allow it like in FL one day. read more

The staff here is always incredibly nice and helpful! Very much a judgement free zone for both beginners and experts at axe throwing.

Very fun for all ability levels. Vance was very informative, a excellent instructor, and overall eager to ensure we had a great time! Worth the drive to Auburn! Owner/proprietor Vance has done his homework. Unlike most axe-throwing places, he has games installed, and you can throw axes (in safe lanes), at Zombies, Battleships, and even Cupid on date night. There are also video games and pinball available, along with very reasonably priced beer and hard seltzer. Very chill and fun. Give this place a try! read more
