I had Imperial Home Inspections (atrevor May) do an inspection on a home I was purchasing. The…read moreinspection came back same day. The inspection report was missing items I would have expected to see in it. 1. Trevor missed one of the A/C units installed at the home. When I spoke to him and asked about it, he agreed there was a second unit at the home but neglected to include it in the report because he could not find the year of it so he chose to leave it out of his report with no mention of it. 2. A very LARGE amount of dry rot was missed all around the entire roof. Which is Easily visible from inside the attic, I spent 30 seconds in that attic and was able to easily spot it. This is an item I specifically asked Trevor about - he said it looked good! (No pics were provided ofcourse) 3.No pictures were taken of the thermostat; he indicated he typically takes a picture of the thermostat but must have forgot this time. 3. Pictures provided in the report were bad quality and not easy to see. 4. Lastly, the water pressure was visually inspected. Any inspections I've received previously, measured the water flow at one of the water outlets with a gauge. 1 star due to the reasons I mentioned above. Communication from him went directly to my realtor instead of me. I had to call him to establish communication about the report. I would not chooseTrevor or this company again for any sort of inspection, unless you are the SELLER and hope the inspector ignores and misses items of importance that should be part of an inapection. I do not recommend Trevor May / Imperial Home Inspection Services.

They came out and did a great job; so when a tree fell onto our house during a storm in October, Baird was the first call I made. Our neighbor covered the hole in the roof the best he could with a tarp he had, but rain was still leaking into the house. I called Priscilla at Baird for help and Eric (one of their crew) came out in the rain and covered the roof with a larger tarp, saving us from further damage inside the house. When the rains stopped, Wayne was terrific in getting us scheduled right away for the repair work and roof replacement even though half of his crew was out sick. Our roof sustained substantial structural damage from the tree and the Baird guys were terrific in rebuilding and reroofing. It took a couple of days, but at the end of each day they were meticulous in cleaning up any debris around the house. Thank you Priscilla, Wayne, Eric and the rest of the crew for a job well done! They tore down, repaired dry rot, installed pipe jacks, and placed the shingles precisely. And they cleaned up every speck of debris. The roof is beautiful. The color matches our main house exactly, even though that roof was done by a different company. Baird's crews are hardworking, conscientious, and good at what they do. Baird works with a company that comes in with a heavy-duty forklift to haul materials to the workers. Roberto came by the evening before to plan logistics and morning of to oversee the forklift operation. All this is to say they are true professionals who take pride in their work. We recommend!

I hired him for his "experience," yet a kid showed up in a convertible Mustang with a ladder in the back. To make things worse, his only roofing background was helping on his parents' house. John only came around three times, and every time was to collect money, not to ensure quality work. Now, when the problems show up, he won't even stand behind his job. I feel obligated to post this so others don't go through the same headache.

Julio also called me to go over the estimate and answer any questions I might have. I told him I would get back to him as I was waiting on other estimates. I received 4 estimates from different contractors in the area. Affordable J. C. Roofing was the most comprehensive and the lowest price. I weighed all the reviews because some were not very good for any of the contractors and decided to go with Affordable and Julio. I have to admit getting started was a little slow. Affordable J. C. Roofing is not a huge business, Julio does all the office paper work, contacting, and scheduling and permit work. Summer plus the fire has made the work load very hectic. I noticed that with all the companies I contacted. One estimate took a 1 1/2 months to get. I did have to keep calling for a start date but once the work began and the work crews showed up at my house I was very impressed. The removal crew had the roof stripped in no time at all and everything was cleaned up and ready for material and install by the end of the day. The new 30 year roof was installed with every detail that was described in the estimate by the end of the week. Such a beautiful job. I had my final inspection permit 2 days later. Flashing 5 existing skylights and installing 2 new skylights was also part of the project. I couldn't be happier. A few extra phone calls was well worth the effort and savings.
