The first time I visited with my parents, I needed a car inspection because my husband was still at the sea, and I had just moved from Seattle to San Diego. I wanted to make sure my car was in good condition. Boris provided so much helpful information for my husband, and I initially forgot to check the air, water, and oil. Now, every time I visit, I'm so grateful for how thorough Boris is. He handles the maintenance, explains what we need to know, and gives us updates on what to expect in the future. Today, after inspecting the brakes, he walked me through our next steps. I also asked about the air, and he reminded me to add more oil since it was low again, something I had forgotten, oops! Thank you, Boris! It's always worth coming here. I'm learning more about cars thanks to him, even though I only know how to drive and clean them hehe.

In my experience, people usually hang up if the can't make a dollar off you and don't really care if your car runs or not. Definitely would recommend this place, it seems like customer satisfaction is worth more than the job to these people

We test drove a 2001 Ford Expedition; the business owner (TK) let us put 500$ down for him to hold it for two weeks until Pops flew out. We found it a bit strange that we couldn't use a check to pay for the vehicle but debit card was okay. When the plate came, he let us pick it up even though the vehicle isn't in our names. After a few minor fluid (oil, radiator, differential, etc) and part changes (wiper blades, etc), Pops was ready to drive it home. I am writing this review because he made it home safely... cross-country, via the 40 (read: through the desert!) in late July. Thank you, TK, for trusting and doing business with us for a vehicle not actually ours.

My husband and I were in the market for a "new to us" car. We had a specific car in mind and saw…read moreseveral posts online for various dealers and private sellers and came across Xclusive Motors. From the photos and carfax provided online, the car was in pristine condition and had a very reasonable price point. Off we went to pay them a visit to see how it looked in real life. I let Chris know that we were coming and the car was waiting for us in the front when we arrived. Honestly. If I didn't already know it was a used car, I wouldn't have been able to tell. The car was beautiful inside and out with great mileage and looked like a brand new car with how absolutely immaculate it was. Sure, a beautiful car with great mileage for the age and the price point are important... but how does it run? How is the engine? How expensive is this car going to be for repairs etc. if I decide to take the plunge? That's what is most important. We did a test drive and it sounded and felt great. i asked if we could have a mechanic look at it first to help us with the decision. They helped us with arranging with a mechanic that works exclusively with Mercedes (which we paid $135 which was reasonable since we were requesting it above and beyond what they already provided as details). They did a full work up checking everything on machines, putting it on the lift, driving it, and the reports came out with only a few cosmetic issues. Chris offered to have those fixed for us which he really didn't have to since it was stuff like windshield wiper replacement and nothing safety wise. We decided to handle it ourselves since everything was minor and he negotiated that into our price. Chris took care of our financing and found us a great deal. It helps I'm sure that we have great credit, but he really did put in a lot effort to make sure we got the best percentage possible. We decided to go for it and paperwork went very smoothly. What this all comes down to is that we got a fantastic car from Xclusive Motors with a great experience to go with it from start to end. I have very good intuition about people and Chris and Mo were very friendly and answered every question and concern we had without any hesitation and very honestly. They were VERY low pressure and there wasn't a second that we felt they were pushing us even with Chris being completely honest when he felt that the warranty or other extras would be nice but really weren't necessary. These are things that they could make extra on by selling, but he let me know about them and told me his honest opinion of whether I really needed it or not. They are honest and their pricing is already good so there isn't a lot of negotiation with price but the prices they offer are already reasonable and aligned with kbb and the value of the cars. I absolutely recommend this dealership and would without hesitation buy another car from Chris and Mo if I needed one in the future. I would even recommend them to my family and close friends...which says a lot for my trust in their integrity. I happen to like my friends and family and want to keep them happy with me and wouldn't recommend anything to them unless I knew they would be treated well.

Honestly, my experience was ok. Have had my car for a bit over a month and everything seems to be working great. It was a prior leased vehicle so it was in pretty great condition! I decided not to buy the extended warranty because of all the reviews I saw on here stating that people were unable to book appointments until months out. This further damaging the car and people not receiving their car back until months later. If I had to return I would not want to deal with Mia Jane again. She was snarky, made passive aggressive comments about my appearance and somewhat disrespectful. Her attitude seemed like she didn't want to be there. I would have preferred to go through the process with someone else. This is a dealership where you walk around and no one is constantly pressuring you, which is nice to feel it out. You may test drive up to 3 vehicles. My car has been great, so I am grateful for that, thank you :)

The "Express" Pickup is a Total Sham - They Chose a Bot Over a Serious Buyer…read more I've never experienced a more tone-deaf sales process. I am a 100% committed buyer with approved financing. I even went as far as sharing my private insurance settlement documents ($11,500+) with my associate, Maria, just to prove I wasn't wasting anyone's time while waiting for the check to clear. Despite this, CarMax Kearny Mesa has been a logistical nightmare. I live in Carlsbad, and after making multiple trips down there (a 45-80 minute haul each way), their 'solution' to a minor insurance delay was to send me an automated Salesforce threat stating they would release the car if I didn't show up for a third time on Monday. Maria is 'off' on Monday, and management is apparently content letting a bot handle their business. They are willing to blow up a guaranteed, funded deal over a 48-hour administrative window. If you want to be treated like a person--especially if you've done the work to prove you're a serious buyer--go literally anywhere else. This isn't 'Express' service; it's a 'computer-says-no' bureaucracy that doesn't care about your time, your commute, or your business.

Chris undeniably checks all of these boxes. If money was no object, I would still take my car to Chris over the Porsche dealer for service and repairs. His positive reviews are entirely organically earned, he doesn't ask for anything, just does great work. You'd be foolish to consider any other 3rd party shop in San Diego for Porsches.

We came here, because of course, my husband's BMW also happened to be due for maintenance while we were displaced from the LA fires. It was a quick and easy oil change, and they also informed us of a partially broken part that was not a safety issue, what to look out for when it finally gives out, and when we should get it replaced. They didn't try to sell me any additional fixes and I really appreciated that. I took care of the scheduling and bringing in the car for my husband, which was really easy. He immediately noticed after he got the car back that these guys had removed and cleaned the stubborn old residue from past stickers on his window. It's a small gesture, but it makes a huge difference and I know he appreciated it. Thank you for taking care of our car!
