So I will use these different words: the air very close to that driver smelled like weed. Also we got charged 2x what was in the estimate quote and they make a tip mandatory even after they charged double and left scrapes in the hallway of our rental including the common stairwell. The property manager charged us for that and we still had to pay for some of the damage. Very bad and very sneaky too. Definitely 1 star!

All our items arrived packaged carefully and safely. We were really satisfied and happy all of our belongings were very carefully packed and arrived safely. Big moves can be stressful, but Terry was very helpful in answering our questions on how to pack, helped us loading and preparing and unpacking our belongings. Following their punctual arrival, Terry and Eric immediately began to run with endurance the race set before them. They never cut corners or compromised in the protection of the furniture to be moved, while navigating delicately through a maze of roommates belongings. Our most recent move was flawless, and included transport of a vehicle from Orange County to San Diego. Other smaller moving companies did not also offer the auto transport. We saved using this service through Motivated Military Movers. We also saved with multiple discounts, including one surprise discount, for my father's navy service on a sub during the Korean War. Terry and Eric worked diligently to save us time on the clock, so the added discount for my Dad, was yet another sign of extraordinary character. It was truly a pleasure to work with Terry again. Rarely do you meet people with such exceptional integrity and work ethic. They instilled great respect and trust in us as we watched them work so hard on our behalf. Since then, I think Dawson has gone to grad school and I'm not sure if Diego is still involved. I recently asked for an estimate and included photos just like before. I don't know if Dawson and Diego are still connected with College Dudes Doin' Moves. I had to contact the "new dudes" twice in order to get a response and got some lame excuse about how they didn't notice my text. That's not really taking care of business is it? Also their estimate was really high-- either their prices have gone up quite a bit or they really didn't want the job. We won't be calling them again.

You can tell that Domingo takes a lot of pride in what he does and genuinely cares about his customers. One of our lamps was unfortunately damaged during the move, and rather than brushing it off, Domingo promptly came over himself and fixed it. That really says a lot about the kind of person and business owner he is. (They offer to pack up anything you don't want to do yourself, haul junk, reassemble if needed, etc) Moving can be stressful, but having a team that works hard, treats your belongings with care, and is simply good and honest makes such a difference. They were the best I have EVER had and believe me, I am somewhat of an expert, having moved probably 50 times. Angel and Chris were right on time, and they were what I could only call AMAZING. They were calm, professional, easy with me - ( I was still packing when they arrived ) They took kid-gloves care of every stick of my furniture, most of which are antiques. They bounded up and down two flights of stairs and made great use of time. They packed my UHaul like consummate professionals, and made it all fit like a puzzle. I could have used the larger truck, but they made it all work like it was no big deal. They followed us to our unloading destination 25 miles away and unloaded just as perfectly and professionally as they loaded. It was really a sight to behold!!! And let's not forget Chantelle in the office. She was so thorough, kind, and calm - actually understanding what I was going thru with this move... She talked me through it with gentle kindness from my first call to my last. I probably treated her like she was my therapist, and she didn't mind one bit. She UNDERSTANDS how tough this stuff can be. She takes the TIME to work with people, no matter their level of distress and confusion. And last but certainly not least; pricing. They are the most reasonable out there, hands down. I had a two pronged move, (load and unload) and they traveled 25 miles - from Del Mar to Coronado. As a comparison, my last movers took me 9 blocks, and load and unload cost the SAME. Unreal. No reason to go anywhere else but Speed Loaders, ever! They bring 100% - In every area of the experience. If ever I have the opportunity to recommend a moving company or need to use one again, (Heaven forbid!) Speed Loaders are my guys, all the way. Do not recommend. I would not hire this company again and I strongly advise against using them…read morethrough HireAHelper. They arrived 2.5 hours late, despite a confirmed start time. I was told four movers would be assigned, but only three showed up. From the start, I clearly explained which items were fragile and needed to be wrapped and secured carefully. Despite this, I repeatedly caught them loading furniture without any wrapping or protection. One of my expensive tables was dropped because a mover attempted to lift it alone instead of asking for help. Another mover was about to load the table legs into the truck without wrapping them at all, and I had to intervene and ask another worker to correct it. The entire process felt careless and disorganized. To make matters worse, after loading the truck, they left items behind. Please see the text message screenshot in this review where I asked them to return and load them intro the truck. I called Speed loaders the next day to get them to come back and the lady wouldn't pick up my phone. I had to go through HireAHelper and they wouldn't guarantee that they would return and wouldn't help in any way. They also charged me incorrectly for time. When I questioned it, I was told it would "be rounded up anyway," which felt dishonest and unprofessional. When my belongings arrived at my new destination, the movers I hired there were shocked by how poorly everything had been packed and loaded. Fragile and high-value items were not protected, were loaded last, stacked improperly, and placed without regard for weight distribution. As a result, I discovered significant damage upon unloading, including shattered mirrors, broken marble furniture, a completely destroyed TV screen, bent metal furniture, and damage to a new bicycle. Several items were beyond repair, and others require professional restoration. The aftermath has been exhausting and costly. I lost expensive furniture, spent significant time documenting damage, and incurred serious financial loss. Despite nearly $5,000 in damages, HireAHelper and SpeedLoaders are offering only $193 in reimbursement. Overall, this was a stressful and unacceptable experience from start to finish. I will be pursuing further legal action to seek proper reimbursement, and I strongly encourage others to look elsewhere.

I was very impressed with the care and attention they gave everything, from the heavy boxes filled with books to the dryer rack filled with fragile cups.
