I was in a car accident a few months ago, and was taken to the hospital. The airbag in my steering wheel was deployed and hit me right in the nose. I had a huge, deep cut (more like a big slice) from the tip of my nose to the nostril. After the ER doctor determined I didn't have any other injuries that required me to stay, she sent me in a cab straight to Dr. Lach at A Beautiful You. He seemed to be their go-to when it comes to plastic surgery, especially when it comes to facial wounds. I went straight there, and was seen within 15 minutes of arriving. Dr. Lach was gentle, kind, soft-spoken, and clearly wildly intelligent. He looked not only at my facial scar, but at all of my other cuts and bruises. He caught a third-degree burn that the hospital had ignored. His nurse, Gail, was there to hold my hand and comfort me while he put needles in my nose to numb it, and then sew it up. He took my fear of needles seriously, unlike many doctors who seem to want to roll their eyes. He sewed my nose up in what was likely the least painless, and most efficient way possible. Dr. Lach gave me his personal cell phone number afterward, and asked me to call in the next few days to let him know how I was doing. I called a few days later and expressed my concern about the blood that had (as expected) seeped through the wound dressing. I am a middle school teacher, and didn't feel comfortable showing up to a group of 11-year-olds looking worse than I had to. Dr. Lach came into the office ON HIS DAY OFF, simply to clean the wound and change the dressing. He has truly renewed my faith in doctors! I have seen him in the months following my accident, and he is going to be doing laser treatment to reduce the redness of the scar even further. Friends and family members have to squint to see the scar, which is incredible, because it was pretty awful! During my three different appointments, Dr. Lach has never made me wait longer than 15 minutes, which I am more than happy to do, because he spends as much time with you as you need him to. Thank you to Dr. Lach and all of the kind and compassionate staff at A Beautiful You! You made what was a pretty horrific event so much easier to deal with.

I love my results and after only one treatment, which didn't hurt as I was expecting, there is significant hair removal and less regrowth. Perhaps it's just my physiology. In any case, I might be purchasing just one more treatment (!) and it will be hugely useful for me especially as I enter my 40s and get so busy I don't have time to shave. This is a great time and opportunity for me to have found these services. I like the medical professionalism and the background knowledge the nurses all have about the procedure. Each of my treatments have been pleasant and comfortable. It's really clean and efficient. I come once every 5 weeks because that is the hair growth cycle length, and stay for around 30 minutes to get my laser treatment. Monthly payments directly charged to my card are helpful too and not too unreasonable. There are great promotions going on now too like 60% off everything they offer because of an anniversary special. I suggest to go for it! Especially if you are young like me. Throughout this experience, Julia canceled appointments for multiple reasons, including allegedly getting into a car accident, being stuck at court, and having a doctor's appointment run late. On another occasion, she arrived an hour late due to traffic. At my final scheduled appointment, she never showed up at all. After calling multiple times, she finally answered and blamed a "miscommunication," claiming another staff member was supposed to perform my treatment. After expressing my frustration and requesting a refund, Julia told me to "take it up with Groupon." When I explained that she had marked my entire Groupon as redeemed after my very first treatment, she responded that she was "not dealing with this shit" and promised to Venmo me. I never received a refund. Now, while disputing this through Groupon, Julia is claiming I received 4 out of 6 treatments when I only received 2. I have receipts documenting my two visits because she charged me an additional $45 per session, fees that were never disclosed in the Groupon listing. To make matters worse, I was never asked to sign a consent form or waiver before receiving laser hair removal treatments, which raises additional concerns about her professionalism and safety practices. I genuinely never intended to leave a negative review. I was more than understanding with the repeated cancellations and excuses and simply wanted a refund for the services I never received. However, after being promised a refund that was never issued and now having Julia misrepresent the number of treatments I received, I feel this review is more than justified. The lack of honesty, accountability, and professionalism throughout this experience has been completely unacceptable. I have receipts to support my experience and would strongly caution anyone against purchasing services from Julia.
