This organization knows how to go the extra mile. I ordered a gift certificate for my brother's birthday for a discover dive. By the time he decided to use it he was acutally sure he would want full certification. They let him trade the value towards his open water certification and still let his last certification dive be the adventure we originally purchase. It was like a 2 for 1 deal. My brother raved at how much fun he had and how exciting it was and how patient the trainer Tina was. So much so that my husband Pete and I decided to sign up for classes with them too. We just finished our open water and have decided for Christmas that all three of us are getting advanced certified. The trainers are funny, very intelligent, they make learning very easy and they make the science logical. It has been an amazing adventure and I can not wait for more diving! If your going to get training anywhere in Florida they have really good trainers all over. I highly reccomend this outfit as they were so affordable and professional. We checked them out with NAUI and PADI online and verified thier insurance and it all checked out good. We were even given a few references when we called which were super excited to say how great they were. They have a scuba club, an online store, a dive site locater, a partnership with many local dive boats, they sponsor 2 charities and they have some of the best educated and well versed trainers we were able to find. Service is great and the rental gear was all like brand new and nice and top of the line. I was very pleased with our choice in this organization. Thanks Scuba Lessons Inc.! We have 17 instructors total across the entire state of Florida and train not only amazing divers but also train eco friendly divers! History

Established in 2003.

In 2003 Scuba Lessons Inc. was founded by the President, Tina O'Connell a NAUI Scuba Instructor and opened its doors in Kissimmee, FL and later relocated the headquarters to the Fort Myers Metro area (Lehigh Acres, Florida) and have remained here since. We now have 17 instructors now throughout the state and serve the entire state of Florida. Each instructor has a different territory. Scuba Lessons Inc. started the Florida Conservation Dive Club and meet up in 2004 and now it has over 5,000 members in the club and over 250 members in the meet up group. We now sponsor and support over 36 underwater eco related non profit organizations from therapy dives for soldiers with PTSD to growing coral farms and restoration projects to plain ol' clean ups on the beaches and underwater. It is a great way to meet really wonderful friends and have lots of fun in a really healthy activity. Call now to book your class!

Meet the Business Owner: Tina O.

Tina O'Connell began diving at the age of only 9 years old. She started volunteering in underwater conservation at the Clearwater Marine Science Center. After becoming an instructor she has worked tirelessly to add underwater ecology to the training of all her students and to promote the activities of the Florida Conservation Dive club she started in 2004. The club supports, promotes and sponsors over 36 underwater charities and has over 5,000 participating members. She believes in helping the community and the environment and each organization she and the club members support have those principals in mind.

Seriously how hard can it be? Seven people just going out on…read morethe water enjoying the day for three hours . I think this is where captains go when they lose their license! We literally bumped two boats, and it was "funny". I was with my 4 grandchildren. The boat had a broken propeller so we were 20 minutes late going out. Yet they were calling at 4 o'clock, telling the driver to get back. Then the boat ' owner" was a complete jerk.. I mean it was a beat up old boat we didn't do anything wrong!! Just a shit experience!! Such a shame!!! We paid $ 840. For 3 hours. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!!!!

Captain Dave was honest, personable and really funny. Can't recommend him enough
