The lady told me that she sucked up a screw and asked to be compensated for broken vacuum, which I did. I sent $80 and asked her to provide a recipe if the repair was more than $80. I paid the cleaning free via Venmo which is what Vilma asked of me. Since this was a business transaction I selected the "Goods and services", this company provided me a service. That money cleared out of my account immediately. I then got a string of texts saying that she won't be able to pay her rent since Venmo is holding the funds for 21 days. I was not aware that this was a personal Venmo account and not set up to receive business funds. I spent hours on the phone to Venmo trying to get this squared away but ultimately, nothing can be done to speed up the process, since there Venmo account is not set up correctly. I then found this page and found pictures of my house, which I did not consent to. The clean was good, but everything else has been a disaster. I do not recommend this company. UPDATE. Update due to owners reply. The issue here lies with Venmo. Ls Ruiz has even supported the fact that I paid with a screenshot. I paid within 30 minutes of the job being completed. I do not have control of how long it takes Venmo to give her the money. I do not control the terms and conditions of Venmo. I spent hours on the phone with Venmo trying to find a resolution but ultimately, they are using a personal account to conduct business transactions, so a hold is put in place for the protection of both parties. Venmo is the way Vilma and this lady requested and agreed on payment. If you don't want to abide by the rules of Venmo and want payment made in a specific way, make that clear upfront. As for the photos, you can take pictures of your work as proof of service, but posting them online without consent seems like violation of privacy.
