They give you, and each child, a workbook full of stories and activities for each week, so no planning is required. And, you're not ever alone - a program coordinator is there each week, along with six or so other volunteers. They've also got the timing down pat - you volunteer for exactly 45 minutes per week, making it possible for me to drive down from work, volunteer, and drive back in a single lunch hour. OK so I finally got a reaction after I tracked down the CEO's personal family FaceBook page and…read moresent a message that they next step was to pursue them for credit card fraud. (They did refund the $90 plus dollars paid for the transcripts, which was ok except what we actually needed was the transcripts). That reaction was a form email from a "no response" address that the transcripts were sent "expedited" on Sept 30th and inviting me to reach out to them via phone or email! I followed up with a request for tracking information, etc. (via email and telephone message); zero response (zero surprise). Today, Oct 14th, I received transcripts! They were sent regular mail (not "expedited service" as paid for); they were postage metered on Oct. 5th (the day after the date that delivery had originally been guaranteed) and actually mailed (per postmark) Oct 6th, so definitely not sent "expedited" on the 30th. The actual document received has only 2 of the 4 pages included in the "sample transcript" for this school and does not appear to be certified. As previously noted, my daughter's actual experience with Sol in Argentina was excellent, but the ongoing lack of communication, false claims, and poor follow through still leaves a bad taste in my mouth, such I could not recommend this company to anyone who expects even a basic level of service.

He was ill, then his daughter was ill and then he just stopped responding all together. For such a well-meaning community built organization, their customer service is very lacking and they really do not seem that concerned with helping people willing to pay for their services. Really, really disappointed--not to mention the time wasted waiting on an appointment only to never get one. This was a complete waste of time and I would not recommend this organization for any kind of consulting/design services.

Main principle of permaculture is to become familiar with your specific place and to use that knowledge to design your local activities... landscape, gardening, building design, water collection, run-off management, community awareness/political involvement... refinement in ones life is limitless and can be fun... one of the goals is to enjoy hammock time in your wonderful creation... no need for agriculture of depletion, monoculture with magic corporate seed and chemicals... Perm is about feeding and protecting the soil and other resources. Final project is to incorporate perm principles into a design project using an existing property. Fish nets, thigh highs, garter belts, corsets, laughing up shaking their barely covered bums and bosoms in clear sexual intent towards an audience of adults. Imagine your 15 year old daughter saying they found a job, making good money, scantily clothed and provocatively dancing for adults. Sign me up, right?!? But hey, for the "arts," let's encourage it. *Parents beware.* There is a serious lack of judgement by this organization and some of the performance had to be bordering on criminal. I don't have photos to add to the review...I would end up on some watch list if I did.
