This is the place. This is what I call an actual library compared to the Mira mesa library. The location is peaceful, calm, and everyone there is actually trying to do work. It's small, but they sure know how to maximize the space. It's very serene and tranquil. I came here and got a lot of reading done. Just that the internet is slightly slow, I couldn't even load some of my programs that I needed to work on, but that's not the point. The point is, this place is a escape for peace and quiet from the busy street of Mira Mesa. Make sure to check their times because it gets confusing and you don't want to end up waiting even thought they are located right next to a beautiful pond with ducks. You can get out of your car and actually enjoy some fresh air before going back inside to get work done.

More windows, comfy interior.

I haven't visited a library in 20 years. This place is spectacular! Nice, tranquil, views of nature, and smells exactly how I remember a library smelling. Could get busy so arrive earlier if you want the best seats. WiFi is unusably slow, but can't expect much from a free establishment. I just hotspot through my phone. 5 stars!

Here is Library I have to say is One cool Library Compare to other Library . They have A Large Assortment of Books and also they got A Free Zumba Class here . Also there is a very cool Pond in Front with Ducks In there . The Parking is ok and You have to come here early because the lot is not so big . They also got Lots of Computers for you to search for Books in Library !! Lots of Tables And Chairs for you to sit . Also there is a out door Patio for you to Relax and enjoy the Air outside . One of the coolest Library I been to . Overall I say Good Place for a Quite Time and to Study for that Big Test .

Beautiful library -- quiet and spacious. The bookstore is adorable. One of my favorite libraries in San Diego.

The kids' area was probably our favorite my son loved all the book options and could've stayed there forever. Also, having a coffee shop right outside is genius. Coffee for the parents, books for the kids... everybody wins. There's plenty of outdoor seating too. Great little spot in Coronado. We'll definitely be back!

Library #5. This was in an older, historical building. Cool murals at the front desk. Kids area…read morehas wizard of oz themed art at the entrance, then they had a winnie the pooh display. Had a round tented area you could sit in to read books. Filled out applications at the desk and got the 2 cards credit card sized and key chain sized. Children's area is a unique shape. A T shape. Once you get to the top of the T it is pretty narrow for books but the other side is chairs, magazines and books on tape. There was a large teen room, a large room that had 3D printers, a computer area. Many individual desks (some with power and some without) had areas for quiet. Lots of windows, lots of natural light. Unreal selection of current books. They had many of the books you see on booktok or instagram available. They also have book club sets you can check out. I found a good amount of current books I had on hold on libby. They are 14 day check outs but you can renew them 2x. Parking is street only and can be difficult to find. Came here on a super hot day but was able to find parking, get out of the heat and find books. Have been back to return books and checked out some new books and a blu ray disc. They do have book drop out on the street by the curb but if you go to drop off books inside you just set them on the desk and they check them in. I was worried about books getting lost, or someone taking them before they get checked back in but it didn't happen to the books I returned.

A friend of mine likes this library and I also like it for several reasons and some reasons not so much... There's parking that offers limited parking time but it is available. There's a security guard who patrols the facility and area for safety. The library is smallish but offers most services: a librarian, staff and the front desk for help, computer and printer access, a children's section and ample seating indoor and outdoor. From the many times I've visited, it was clean and everything was organized. The people visiting this library were courteous and kept quiet. One day during my visit a person in a military uniform had a heated exchange with the staffers at the front desk over the issue of why there was not a single American flag inside or outside this library but several pride flags. The staff of who appear to be LGBTQ mostly had no answer. The uniformed gentleman said he is a USA veteran and left angrily. In this situation, politics aside, I agree with the uniform wearing man, and this library, should have an American flag visible and display it with pride along with the pride flags to show inclusivity, which is what matters. I like this library but the staff should seriously consider having an American flag to show some pride for our country and not just one group.
