Fix-it Ross has honestly been a life saver on several occasions when I needed to quickly get a house ready for a new occupant. So far he has repainted the interior of three residences for me, installed new hardware, light fixtures, replaced screens, pressure washed exterior and driveways, replaced fencing and repaired a large portion of decking. After seeing his work I hired him for some outdoor projects at my personal residence as well. He and his team have accommodated smaller tasks too like assembling furniture for a short-term rental, programming door bells, digital locks, replacing high up light bulbs, air filters, etc. I also appreciate that they know their limitations and won't just say yes unless it is truly in their scope of knowledge. They started out ok and got the job somewhat done. We needed installation of a vanity and building a garage cabinet. Additionally we needed some bins moved upstairs and furniture moved away from the wall and I sent them pictures of paint touch up and repair of corner bead in wall and paint front door side panels. We were charged 3 1/2 hours for the bins furniture moving and painting (took an hour).We were unable to get paint for the front door panels so could not do the work. The vanity finish work was horrible so we asked that they come back and correct it. They also came back to add a strap to the garage cabinet for security. The first time they left quickly and did not take everything upstairs, but at this point in time we just wanted them to come back and correct the vanity issue. The supervisor acted like we were being unreasonable. So they came back sort of fix the vanity and we got the bill. They charged the same amount of money like if they had done all the work. After back and forth he gave us a "discount " as if they were doing us a favor.
