Horrible customer service and defective product! We bought exterior window screens when we purchased our place in 2015. Almost immediately one particular bar on one window began to slip, but it wasn't noticeable. In 2017, our HOA was putting pressure on homeowners in the neighborhood and threatening fines to either repair, clean or replace broken and faded window screens. I contacted ScreenMobile to repair this slip and was told it would cost $80. After several weeks, he finally showed up to fix it and we paid the $80. Soon thereafter, this same bar began to slip again. When it became noticeable, I contacted ScreenMobile to come repair it again and was told it would cost $89 to fix. I told him I already paid to have this same exact bar fixed and didn't think I should have to pay to fix again because it is obviously defective. I was told it's outside of some warranty period (I never got an invoice for the repair stating any warranty period) and he isn't responsible for the weather that can cause damage and slippage like this. He also suggested I have my window washer come tap it back into place. His exact response is in the text messages I am including in this review. First, if it is that simple to repair, why did I pay $80 the first time and be expected to pay $89 a second time. I paid to have it fixed permanently the first time, which I should t have had to pay at all in my opinion. Clearly the product is defective and he is refusing to make it right unless I pay him AGAIN, which apparently still won't fix the problem permanently. Second, I live in a two story townhouse. I don't have a ladder tall enough to reach the window to "tap" it myself AND I don't have window washers. I told him his response is not acceptable because I have already paid him to have this exact bar fixed. He has not responded to me since even when I warned him I would contact and file a complaint with the corporate franchise office, which I have. I have not had problems with any of the other 3 window screens. Just this one window screen, which is obviously defective. read more

Fantastic, local, family-run business. Repaired two broken screens for me a couple of years ago, promptly & reasonably. Don the rep did not even pickup or touch any of the 5 screens. When I mentioned to Don this, his answer was he has been doing this for 28 years. Don it is time for you to retire. The west side large kitchen window on my house catches the afternoon sun with vengeance from hell. I Yelped 5 solar screen companies for estimates. Marlin Scott was the first to respond and provided the best prices. Some of the other companies took 5-7 days and at double the cost. You snooze you lose. Marlin was here the next morning to take measurements. He suggested that I go with an 90% solar screen rather than the 80% for only $20.00 more. I took his suggestion and very happy I did. He installed the unit the next morning. Marlin is a professional in every sense of the word with a winning personality as well. Quick response and next day service...what more can you ask for? Two screen replacements that fit perfectly. I wasn't sure what color to order and the service technician used the color that matched what I had. removed solar screens, broke them down, and put them in the dumpster. My first floor condo is now lighter and brighter and I can open the windows and get a nice cross breeze. I'll call them again when I'm ready to have a custom fitted screen door. read more
